“Pretty” is not an option you dork! Brad Pitt was HOT in that movie.

Brad Pitt was also quite beautiful in Thelma & Louise, r7.

Brad Pitt in T&L was pretty.
Brad Pitt in Interview with a Vampire and A River Runs Through it was hot.
Brad Pitt in Mr and Mrs Smith was handsome.
I can't choose just one.

R11 I'd say he's more cute than beautiful.

Actor/model Aaron O'Connell is stunningly, ridiculously beautiful. I've been binging Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots, and the camera loves him. Impossibly beautiful man.

Hot ignites sexual desire.
Cute only does if you're a pervert.
Beautiful invites more aesthetic contemplation, a much more philosophical feeling than hot does.

R17, bull. Cuteness -- in adults -- can and does excite sexual desire in most normal, healthy people. There's a reasons lovers call each other "baby," "honey," "sweetheart," and so on.

I’m rewatching the mid-late seasons of PARTY OF FIVE and it so happens the ideal infographic answer to OP’s question takes the form of a PO5 promotional cast photo.
As the leads looked c. 1996... Hot: Neve Campbell (lower left); Matthew Fox (center top...hah) Beautiful: Jennifer Love-Hewitt (lower right); Jeremy London (upper left) Cute: Lacey Chabert (upper right); Scott Wolf (center bottom..ah, it’s too easy)

Cute is particularly youthful attractiveness - soft features, downy skin, large eyes, etc. it often fades with age.
Beautiful is associated with clean well formed bone structure and has a certain other worldly quality
To me, hot just means sexy. In men, I think a man can be quite homely and rough looking, but still be hot if he is buff or hung.
