I'm tired of hearing that a politician's thoughts on Israel are the most important thing in the world. THEY'RE NOT.

by Anonymousreply 2February 22, 2019 12:11 AM

Waiting to hear from New York and Florida.

by Anonymousreply 3February 22, 2019 12:21 AM

They are slowly but surely turning off their less ardent supporters.

Israel is surrounded by countries that want to destroy it.

Say what you want to but it still needs help and support from the USA and other allies.

by Anonymousreply 7February 22, 2019 12:37 AM

It needs to denuclearize.

by Anonymousreply 8February 22, 2019 12:39 AM

Israel also needs to denetanyahooize, R8.

by Anonymousreply 9February 22, 2019 12:47 AM

R7 I'm fine with wanting and encouraging peace in the Middle East, but it should not be THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE for American politicians.

by Anonymousreply 10February 22, 2019 12:51 AM

Has there been a Jewish US Prez ?

by Anonymousreply 11February 22, 2019 1:03 AM

The denetanyahooize thing may be happening sooner than people realize R9

His two leading rivals, one of whom is well-liked and well-known former general from center-left parties are teaming up and with the support of the Arab parties in Knesset (Israeli parliament) might be able to oust Netanyahu in the upcoming election.

Gore's running mate in 2000, Joe Lieberman was Jewish but that's as close as the US has come

by Anonymousreply 14February 22, 2019 1:12 AM

Bernie Sanders ?

by Anonymousreply 15February 22, 2019 1:21 AM

I wasn't aware he'd been elected R15
