Michael Avenatti, Esquire, Evicted!

Is there anyone here who will volunteer to provide him shelter and succor?

[quote]Shortly after that ruling from a California judge, another judge ruled that Avenatti and his staff must be evicted from their suite office at Fashion Island mall after they missed four months worth of rent payments.

He had his office in a mall? How lower middle class!

OH SHIT

by Anonymousreply 1October 22, 2018 11:01 PM

I love Fasion Island Mall in th OC! I went to my first California Pizza Kitchen there in the 90s.

by Anonymousreply 2October 22, 2018 11:06 PM

I told you bitches that Stormy Daniels paid him in trade.

by Anonymousreply 3October 22, 2018 11:08 PM

Fashion Island is (or was when I was kid growing up nearby) VERY high end. It wasn't some bougie strip mall.

by Anonymousreply 4October 22, 2018 11:10 PM

I got a place for him to stay but hot daddy is going to have to put out or get out.

by Anonymousreply 5October 22, 2018 11:13 PM

Appointing judges on all levels matters. This is why the Republicans always win.

by Anonymousreply 6October 22, 2018 11:22 PM

OP Please understand that the Washington Examiner has little if any credibility. It is very right wing. Anything they print is biased as much as The Daily Caller owned , in part, by Tucker Carlson. Also, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this isn't something cooked up by Trump and his people. Trump can and will use the FBI and the Justice Department to go after anybody. Read about what they did to Kathy Griffin and others. Remember like that world class actor Ronnie Reagan said "Trust but verify". We no longer live in a democracy. Trump is and will continue to use the same tactics against his enemies that the Soviets do. If you don't know what kind of shit they pull, watch Active Measures either on HULU or wherever you can find it. Why a major channel hasn't agreed to show this in primetime I guess is due to Trump's influence. Sure call me paranoid but I know how bad things in this country are and how there is no low that Trump won't go and that the FBI and justice department-he handpicked Chris Wray and Rod Rosenstein and of course little Jeff Sessions.

by Anonymousreply 7October 22, 2018 11:32 PM

R7 the Judge that evicted him today is a liberal, Obama-era Judge seated by the super liberal 9th circuit. This ain't no conspiracy. He hasn't paid rent sine June. His last rent check of $52,000 bounced

by Anonymousreply 8October 22, 2018 11:38 PM

And he thinks he is running for president.

NOT!

by Anonymousreply 9October 22, 2018 11:46 PM

[quote]And he thinks he is running for president. NOT!

Don't fuck with me, boys. It's not my first time at the rodeo.

Avenatti, evicted. Check!

Booker, MeTooed. Check!

Look out Kamala Harris. Gurl, you in danger.

by Anonymousreply 10October 22, 2018 11:48 PM

Thank you comrade OP. You are really working overtime today.

by Anonymousreply 11October 22, 2018 11:50 PM

The food court is to die for

by Anonymousreply 12October 22, 2018 11:53 PM

I’d like Avanetti’s hot dog on a stick

by Anonymousreply 13October 23, 2018 12:07 AM

Hills, aka R10, lay off Kamala Harris. The rethugs / deplorables are nuttz and will never vote for you.

Not sure why, I thought you were great.

Kamala Harris is my choice now. Please just stand on the sidelines this time

by Anonymousreply 14October 23, 2018 12:16 AM

A Fashion Island is better than a Fashion Park.

He owes $4.85 million to an attorney who worked at his former law firm. He didn't pay rent for four months. Will his buddies at CNN and The View help? Go fund me?

by Anonymousreply 16October 23, 2018 1:18 AM

What the fuck? Why didn't he pay his rent? He should forget that run for the White House. That was a dumb idea.

by Anonymousreply 17October 23, 2018 1:23 AM

No one is going to help me and the judges are certainly not going to help him, the judges belong to Trump. He needs to get his head back down to human size.

by Anonymousreply 18October 23, 2018 1:25 AM

Look at the bright side...if he wins in 2020, he doesn't have to worry about paying rent for 4 years.

by Anonymousreply 19October 23, 2018 1:31 AM

I think a perfect storm of past carelessness has come back to haunt him big time. He had a very expensive divorce some years back, in which I think she got more than 50%, which screwed up his taxes, and ever since then, I suspect he's been robbing Peter to pay Paul. Unlike Trump, who has a very similar financial history, Avenatti does not have Russian oligarchs to launder money through him to restore his financial solvency. It's unfortunate, because he's been a very effective goad in Trump's backside, which makes him my friend. (The enemy of my enemy is my friend).

by Anonymousreply 20October 23, 2018 2:03 AM

R20 but sometimes the enemy of your enemy is still a narcisistic grifter and a dick

There are no offices in Fashion Island. His office must have been in Newport Center, of which Fashion Island is a part.

by Anonymousreply 23October 23, 2018 2:28 AM

His office may be in the dressing room of a Lane Bryant.

by Anonymousreply 24October 23, 2018 2:30 AM

I'm beginning to wonder if he will be president ...

by Anonymousreply 25October 23, 2018 2:31 AM

Even CNN spoke about this. I was hoping it was false news.

r24 made me LOL, bigly.

by Anonymousreply 27October 23, 2018 3:02 AM

Do he's another Trump. Wants to be a big shot. Not honorable. What a miserable let down.

by Anonymousreply 28October 23, 2018 3:15 AM

And yet, Trump still committed a federal crime with Daniel's payoff.

Another Whatabout-ism thread.

by Anonymousreply 29October 23, 2018 3:39 AM

R29 is the very definition of What Aboutism. This thread is about Michael Avenatti. Try to stay on topic, dear.

by Anonymousreply 30October 23, 2018 3:42 AM

I worked at Fascist Island (as it was known in the '70's) while a student at UCI. So there! R2! I made $1.85 an hour and supported myself. That is probably less than your French Fries cost!

by Anonymousreply 31October 23, 2018 3:47 AM

Avenatti is scum. Democrats were right to distance themselves from him. We want Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

by Anonymousreply 32October 23, 2018 4:02 AM

R31, me too. I worked at Robinson's when it was a nice store and not the dump that became Macy's. A whopping $2.05 an hour.

by Anonymousreply 33October 23, 2018 4:06 AM

Has he been making money in any way since he became famous from Stormy? Her case really didn't directly make him any money.

by Anonymousreply 34October 23, 2018 4:10 AM

I said something a few weeks back about waiting for the inevitable skeletons to be dragged out of his closet. And I was called a Russian bot and troll. I'm not, comrade, and what I meant by what I said is that if you're going to be out there pointing fingers, remember that others will look to point fingers back at you. Make sure your own house is in order before you start spouting off about things like running for the president. In this way, Avenatti is no better than Trump - two sides of the same coin.

by Anonymousreply 35October 23, 2018 4:12 AM

Let’s all admit that this is embarrassing. And then move on.

by Anonymousreply 36October 23, 2018 4:35 AM

Avenatti is not scum but he may have become too sure of himself. Trump never paid his debts, we don't need another sleaze bag like that.

by Anonymousreply 37October 23, 2018 4:46 AM

[quote]Remember like that world class actor Ronnie Reagan

Ronald Reagan? WORLD CLASS actor?

If Ronald Reagan is a world class actor then so are Jensen Ackles and Snookie.

by Anonymousreply 38October 23, 2018 4:54 AM

He thought that all this media exposure would directly lead to a payday, like a talk show or maybe a book. It hasn't and it's not clear how a presidential run will either. It's a shame in a way because as a troll who gets under Trump's skin, there's no one like him. He should have stayed focused on that. Instead, he's turning into a Scaramucci. Best he crash and burn now than later.

by Anonymousreply 39October 23, 2018 5:15 AM

Surely he can swing a book deal to pay that rent.

by Anonymousreply 40October 23, 2018 5:17 AM

"[R29] is the very definition of What Aboutism. This thread is about Michael Avenatti. Try to stay on topic, dear."

You don't know what the word "definition" means. And since Avenatti's claim to fame is the scandal involving using election funds to buy a prostitute's silence, I am on topic, dear.

Try not to troll in such an obvious and shallow manner. It makes you seem stupid. Even stupider than you actually are. Probably not a new low for you, but I'm confident in your ability to take yourself to a new low.

And how funny that people are framing this as Avenatti vs. Trump as presidential candidates. It's a very specific way to change the subject from Trump's crimes and misdemeanors and shift focus to the alleged unsuitably of potential presidential challengers. And the fact that you think some tired DL quip is going to make for a convincing argument means you can't think beyond a soundbite.

You're limited in that way and many other ways. That's why trolls like you don't have enviable lives. It takes a special kind of stupid to be you but by no means does that make you special.

Special needs, perhaps.

by Anonymousreply 41October 23, 2018 5:20 AM

I think he's been taking all these high profile cases pro bono, agreeing to be paid only if they win settlements. That leaves him high and dry for the moment. Poor guy.

by Anonymousreply 42October 23, 2018 5:26 AM

What r21 said. I adore Avenatti for being a butch thorn in Trump’s side, and Stormy for being a funny thorn, but they’re both scumbags.

by Anonymousreply 43October 23, 2018 10:27 AM

Everyone keeps saying how he drives Trump crazy, how he trolls him nonstop, and how he gets underneath his skin. Has there been any evidence of that whatsoever? Trump never mentioned him until he started winning cases against Avenatti. There's not been any reporting about the Trump White House that shows that Trump cares about him at all. His trolling of trump gets some liberals excited but I don't think it upsets Trump.

by Anonymousreply 45October 23, 2018 4:08 PM

R45 There is no evidence. Just as there's no evidence of Russian collusion.

by Anonymousreply 46October 23, 2018 4:50 PM

[quote]His trolling of trump gets some liberals excited but I don't think it upsets Trump.

Why should it? Trump is sitting in the White House and Avenatti is sitting in the street.

by Anonymousreply 47October 23, 2018 10:50 PM

Time to do porn, Mickey. There are 10 eldergays on DL that would pay to watch you take it in your no-no place.

Let's help him choose his professional porn name.

by Anonymousreply 48October 23, 2018 10:52 PM

^^^ All we need is the street he grew up on and his first pet’s name.

Rex LaSalle it is!

by Anonymousreply 50October 24, 2018 1:27 AM

If he does make porn, get that Beto and the other hottie Dem involved...maybe some hot local tv newspeople...or Matt G. Mmm mmm

by Anonymousreply 51October 24, 2018 1:42 AM

Is the other hottie Dem Connor Lamb?

by Anonymousreply 52October 24, 2018 2:00 AM

Conor, sorry.

by Anonymousreply 53October 24, 2018 2:04 AM

[quote]It's a shame in a way because as a troll who gets under Trump's skin, there's no one like him.

I'm going to get yelled at for this, but I've got to ask: what good does it do to troll Trump?

by Anonymousreply 54October 24, 2018 2:05 AM

I'm very sorry to hear this. His "superstar lawyer who stood up to Trump" image is kaput. He has fallen off his golden boy perch with a big thud. I think no matter how he tries to spin this, he is toast. At least in terms of the presidential run or whatever "heroic" image he had.

by Anonymousreply 55October 24, 2018 2:13 AM

he can always write a book and get $$$

by Anonymousreply 56October 24, 2018 2:16 AM

Maybe Ari can put him up in his guest house.

by Anonymousreply 57October 24, 2018 2:30 AM
