Claire Foy discusses her 'irrational' anxiety battle
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 15, 2018 1:25 AM |
Fuck this motherfucking English fucking biaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatch and her BULLSHIT anxiety.
I mean, Oh too bad for her and I can't wait to see Girl in the Spider's Web.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 22, 2018 9:47 PM |
It's nice that a plain girl like her gets to have a career in acting.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 22, 2018 9:47 PM |
I always confuse her and Felicity Jones. She strikes me as the time who feigns mental illness for points. I have no doubt that she experiences occasional anxiety, just not to the point that she pretends. I got through a little bit of her movie Unsane but stopped because I got bored. I might go back to it at some point.

I meant type not time
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 22, 2018 9:53 PM |
She looks positively deranged in OPs photo.

What is the point of a 30 second video interview?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 22, 2018 11:22 PM |
I read an interview with Ruth Wilson who seemed like an interesting person, yet also extremely high strung (when asked about what was her last agonizing decision, she said that her manager would say that every decision is agonizing for her). Not to make light of real anxiety problems, but I wonder if it's a "actress" thing - to be so anxious, high strung, and ready to lose it at a moment's notice.

Kristen Stewart suffers from anxiety disorder and depression
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 22, 2018 11:45 PM |
Will she have an anxiety attack if I say I've never heard of her?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 22, 2018 11:48 PM |
Someone who has anxiety attacks over what to eat for a fucking dinner is unbearable company.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 22, 2018 11:48 PM |
Claire Foy is a GREAT actress!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 22, 2018 11:48 PM |
I'm not OK, you're not OK.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 22, 2018 11:50 PM |
It's not OK to be OK.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 23, 2018 12:15 AM |
I have a severe anxiety disorder. I work very hard to contain it, or at least hide its effects from others. The great thing about serious mental illness is no one takes your word for it if you're not freaking out in front of them and if you do freak out in front of them they'll find other ways to dismiss it. It's pretty neat.

Crazy eyes
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 23, 2018 12:22 AM |
R15 I hope you can get help with your anxiety, which sounds horrible. If Foy is also seriously suffering from anxiety, I hope she gets help too. Really, though, I have become very dubious about celebrities' claims, which, unlike those of non-famous people, often seem generated to create the drama they crave and keep the spotlight shining on them.

Her outspokenness surprises me. I always liked that British actors were more reserved when talking about personal issues.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 23, 2018 1:18 AM |
I often wished I could escape in the Tardis during filming of “The Crown”.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 23, 2018 1:49 AM |
I thought Claire was great on The Crown.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 23, 2018 2:14 AM |
There was a time when people would have been embarrassed by admitting such silliness.
Now, we applaud it, or at least someone does.
Sometimes, shame and embarrassment are good things.

Kirsten Stewart suffers from anxiety and depression??????????????????? Since when???
I know Emma Stone's always talking about her anxiety but K-Stew too?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 24, 2018 8:58 PM |
R21, you’re an asshole and you lend credence to what R15 wrote.
Claire Foy is a FANTASTIC actress. Watch the Soderbergh movie, Unsane. It’s ultimately sort of a so-so, been-there thriller but she is absolutely great.
You people making fun of anxiety disorders can just consider yourselves lucky. I wouldn’t wish panic/anxiety disorders on my worst enemy.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 24, 2018 9:04 PM |
Just what we need, another whiner.
Im sure her anxiety recedes when shes cashing those checks.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 24, 2018 9:15 PM |
Women find themselves endlessly interesting, don't they?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 24, 2018 9:19 PM |
R22, you've never seen Twilight?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 24, 2018 9:22 PM |
Millennials, the people who kill themselves because they are teased at school.
I virtually had a flamethrower fired at me at school, and it sucked, but you just keep going, you don't hang yourself in your closet.

Tracey Ullman talked about this recently, how different it is in Brutain with guys on television talking openly about being alcoholics. She said when she was growing up you didn’t see a psychiatrist until you were being dragged out in a strait jacket.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 24, 2018 9:25 PM |
Wow. I really hate her face.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 24, 2018 9:31 PM |
Girl needs to have anxiety about that hair, not a potato v. hamburger. Neither of which she probably eats.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 24, 2018 9:50 PM |
She has crazy eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 24, 2018 9:56 PM |
I feel her pain.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 24, 2018 10:42 PM |
Claire Foy's haircut, like her performance, was awful in First Man.
As was her accent.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 25, 2018 5:07 AM |
She reminds me a lot of Reese Witherspoon.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 25, 2018 6:44 AM |
With that hairdo Foy reminds me of Sarah Paulson, just a lot prettier.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 25, 2018 6:53 AM |
Sometimes she looks to me like someone with mild Down Syndrome.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 25, 2018 7:01 AM |
Something like 20% of the population suffers from anxiety. Claire is not a special snowflake, however much she interviews about this.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 25, 2018 4:33 PM |
Claire Foy needs to disappear like Rosamund Pike.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 25, 2018 5:06 PM |
Is UNSANE worth watching?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 29, 2018 4:55 AM |
Yes, absolutely, R41. Go in with low-ish expectations.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 29, 2018 7:36 AM |
R41 I watched Unsane and liked it a lot. It was entertaining & actually rather frightening
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 29, 2018 6:09 PM |
I saw Spider Web and she was awful in this bad steven legal vendetta movie about a molested sister turned evil villain ... omg it was so bad people were laughing at the action and bad drama in the theater.
I've now seen her in two shitty roles this month with the Gosling First Man movie. Claire should have rational anxiety: about her lack of talent.
Rooney Mara should be thrilled to bits.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 14, 2018 8:10 AM |
Who is Claire Foy blowing to get all these roles out of nowhere???
She's not attractive, acts like she was taught in acting 101 in Sherman Oaks acting school with zero natural instincts or any charisma or anything.
I don't get it.
The fuck is going on?
