So many flaccid children!

by Anonymousreply 2October 22, 2018 2:24 PM

If it only affects children, the Datalounge approves of it.

by Anonymousreply 3October 22, 2018 9:02 PM

No, it primarily affects children, but there are adult cases as well.

Unrelated, r5

The Republican mindset:

"If it doesn't affect me personally, then I don't give a rat's ass, and I damn sure don't want to spend any tax dollars on it. In fact I eternally seek to reduce my taxes and then I love bitch when government doesn't work just the way I want it to."

How about this one, r6?

For the last five years the number of cases has been between 20-30 in the odd number years and up to 120-160 in the even number years. That’s interesting.

I only recently learned that flu season is called such because even though the flu virus is always circulating through human populations and always mutating, it does have a predictable “season” where it’s more active and dangerous and then goes more dormant the rest of the year, similar to ticks and mosquitoes, which live year round but tend to be more or less active depending on time of year and temperature.

So perhaps the AFM virus goes dormant for around 12 months and then surges for around 12 months.

The world needs a new plague anyways. When will we share it with the migrant caravan?

by Anonymousreply 17October 26, 2018 1:30 AM

You first, ya. Mo.

Constant experimentation in biological weapons isa fact. The world is undergoing a biochemical arms race worse than the nuclear one.

by Anonymousreply 19October 26, 2018 3:30 AM

What about my kid with the pushing in head? Why no love anymore?

by Anonymousreply 20October 26, 2018 11:51 AM

Some of the victims are adults. They need to get a handle on this and quick.😨

[Quote]Nonetheless, the presence of the little-known substance raised unease that a threat to European health might be building — hardly surprising in light of the West’s broad palette of other worries about Russia’s intentions, including the crisis in Crimea, which was annexed by Moscow in 2014, and the Kremlin’s activities in cyberspace.

[Quote]On Wednesday, one of Britain’s top security officials, Ciaran Martin, warned in a speech that, over the past year, Russian hackers had undertaken far more persistent attacks on his country’s energy, telecommunications and media industries than previously acknowledged.
