Amish Question

'Am thinking we have ex-Amish DataLoungers. I know you can be shunned for leaving after baptism. If someone after Rumspringa decides not to join the church are they also shunned?

Not Amish (or even ex-Amish), but I know this: if you leave before baptism, you're not formally shunned.

You're obviously not going to be part of the community any more (and that's probably a huge deterrent), but you're still able to visit, and join in big events like weddings.
