Last night I went to alt gossip. A couple times a year I look it over. I started reading the most recent month and it was ALL from CDAN. Before there were a variety of sources but this times there were only maybe three items from other sites.

Several bits were "reader contributed" and they were... just nothings. "Classic" Hollywood kindnesses involving stars who sponsored charity tennis matches or golf tournaments. Like if the event is named after them, it's not exactly a blind. Then there were a few stories by "dancing boy", something like that. Long convoluted tales with no paragraph breaks and no guesses at the end.

One blind I was interested in was about Russell Simmons who apparently has fled US jurisdiction. Well that sounded interesting so I googled it and it was reported on several sites *five* days before CDAN posted it as a blind item. I know people have said that on here before but it was just so blatant this time.

I used to be a reader but after Timmy/Shimmy, I lost interest.

R5 I love reading the old agc blind items. They were interesting and a lot of them have since been proven accurate (like Travolta and his love of masseurs). Lainey is an asshole but again, her stuff was generally accurate, and she doesn't do blinds anymore as a rule.
