They list an actor who will be portraying Sam Wanamaker but say they don't know the Manson connection. I believe Sam Wanamaker was blacklisted in the 50s and left the US for England then. He is probably in England with Polanksi.

Sam Wanamaker died in 1993. The second theater at The Globe is named after him, he was the driving force in having The Globe rebuilt. His daughter is Zoe Wanamaker.

That they only had to remove a few millimeters of skin on Di Caprio's photo is pretty good for a man over 40.

It looks like Pitt may’ve had dermatochalasis, or “baggy eye.” The skin of the lower brow starts to sad into the over the eye and requires surgical removal. You can really see that hooded eye effect in the “before” photo here. I will probably need it some day to keep my visual field and am afraid of ending up with “physical manifestation of crazy” surprised eyes.

Pitt’s eye work and other nips and tucks look fucking fantastic. Whoever works on him is excellent. Does anyone know who attends to his nips and tucks? I believe I’ll need some eye work in the next seven years or so, and would appreciate the name of his surgeon.

Never fuck around with your face. If something needs to be fixed, go for the best. I’ve seen some horrendous work by people who have reputations for being good plastic surgeons. Bullshit.

The trick is to look great AND to look your age. If someone wants to turn your face into a tight, perfectly smooth canvas, run.

Leo looks good, too, but I never found him to be attractive, and still don’t.

The retouching is incredibly minimal. How does Leo approach Brando territory between films and then slim down to almost a teenage weight? Drugs or lucky genetics?

I wish the cast were a bunch of nobodies. I hate celebrities, seeing them on the screen takes me right out of the movie. Instead of seeing the characters being portrayed, I just see Leo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt or whoever. Ugh.

I'm with the other posters who are wondering why this is a big deal? Everything and everyone is photoshopped in HW. I thought that was common knowledge. Even if the studio fucked up by releasing the non touched up photo I don't see the big deal. We all know celebs look like shit due to the millions of paparazzi photos out there.

Yes, Pitt has had some great work. The secret is to not do a full-on facelift if you're a man, because the results always look odd. Just a little bit of eye and chin work is all that's needed.

In this day and age, if the people looking at celebrity photos don't know they are photoshopped and tweaked to make these people look flawless, they are the idiots.

Years ago, I remember an article about the legs used in the " Pretty Woman" poster not being Julia Roberts. They used a model's legs, which were obviously much better than Julia's. I remember when TV Guide, Photoshopped Oprah's head on someone else's body.

Brad looks terrible there - before and after Photoshop. Did he have his nose and chin done or something? I would not have even recognized him. Maybe it is just an unfortunate angle. Leo looks really handsome. I never did find Leo sexy, but he can be damn good looking nonetheless. I agree that his fitness fluctuates a lot between films.

Anyway, photoshopping photos is nothing. Digitally retouching every frame of a movie, that's the real story now. Extremely expensive and very hush hush. Read an article in Vanity Fair a couple years ago. Only the biggest stars can do it/afford it/have it in their contracts. I'd say these two qualify.
