I am really liking Myles Garrett, Jarvis Landry and Devin Cajuste of the Browns. If any of you have the opportunity to catch Hard Knocks Cleveland parts 1-5 before it's gone, I highly recommend it. I did not care for Baker Mayfield one iota until watching him on that show. I didn't find him attractive and I though he was basically a rich kid brat like Manziel. Man I could not have been more wrong. He is a stud and a smart dude.

His was a heartwarming story most everyone could get behind, but Devon Cajuste's chapter in Cleveland has come to a close.

Cajuste and teammate Nate Orchard were included among Cleveland's cuts made before the league's Saturday deadline to trim the roster to 53. Orchard, a defensive end, and Cajuste were two of the bubble players featured in this season of HBO's Hard Knocks.

Cajuste entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford, signing with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016 before landing on Green Bay's practice squad after the conclusion of the preseason. He signed with Cleveland in January and became a star on Hard Knocks, playing through a shoulder injury in Cleveland's Week 1 win over the New York Giants and spending extra time after practice to work on his blocking with Darren Fells.

Oh no! Cajuste didn't make it??Well you'd have to be blind and stupid to not see that he isn't pro-level talented, but I still had hope that they would keep him. His backstory is a real heart breaker, as was Nate Orchard's(he's a black Polynesian dude who was taken in by Mormons in SLC)

Cajuste might be the sexiest man I've seen this year. He's smart AF and he is a true earth loving, family honoring hippie type. Nothing fake about him. I have always laughed my ass off at folks who believe in crystal therapy bullshit; but with Devin's Stanford brain and beautiful head explaining the use and properties of his crystals, I almost wanted to believe that they would help get him the gig with the Browns.

I would love to see him be "discovered" as a result of Hard Knocks and see him end up doing something in the media. He has the charisma and looks to get further than most. His dad is pretty damn hot too.

R53 I can promise you that the more you understand all the fundamentals and rules(penalties) of football the more exciting it becomes. Like everything else worthwhile in life, it's not something you can just read a primer on and POOF! you become a football expert in a couple of hours,

But my recommendation is to learn by immersion. Start watching at least one game per weekend. Develop a favorite team, because pulling for "your" team makes it so much more enthralling. Another way to pump up the fun is to get in a betting group such as FanDuel. I began playing fantasy league football in 1992, and within 6 weeks I learned more than I had in my entire life prior. You become interested in both the offense AND the defense in fantasy football. It also encourages you to read up on the players and their tendencies and stats. There was no internet back when I started, so I had to dig deep to cull all my info. Today it is so easy: it's all there for the typing and clicking.

I ended up winning my league of thirty 1nmy first year, and I was the only chick in the league, so if I can maximize my scope of knowledge in one season, so can you. I can't lie(even though this sounds a bit cocky) I am now a damn near football expert, which is good because my husband is in the business. Watching and following a team is a really good bonding thing as well. You might eventually go to sports bars to watch the games which can be really fun and full of camaraderie. And just so you know, many sports fan these days are gay men, Gone is the day when there was any sort of a stigma...in other words, you will encounter no hostility from the straight dudes who share your interest.

Finally, if you can possibly watch the 4 episodes of Hard Knocks Cleveland Browns, you will learn more in 6 hours than you could imagine. I have watched all the Hard Knocks series since it began eons ago, but this year is my all time favorite. I dig them so much that I may have to divide my loyalties come the start of the season. If you don't have HBO, you can get a week free membership on Amazon Prime which will give you ample time to view the whole series. An extra benefit is you can also get to see the first episode of LeBron James's new show "The Shop."

I enjoyed it, but it has been surrounded by controversy since it aired last week. A lot of fans did not want to see that version of good guy LeBron. Welp, his show, his money, his choice to keep it 100.
