This should be fun.

He has to run to his Make AmeriKKKa Great Again Ego Rally where he is treated like a King. He will bask in the applause and believe he is all powerful. I want to know who pays for this?

Duluth?

It's the fifth largest city in Minnesota. Couldn't he get even Rochester or Bloomington?

by Anonymousreply 5June 20, 2018 11:55 PM

Sixth, seventh or eighth circle of Hell, to be trapped there.

Given his frustrations, his rants, and the fact that he had to cave this week, this should be epic.

Already bitching about "fake news," demanding the cameras take a shot of the arena of people cheering. Of course Fox does it on command.

You have to also remember these people live in the middle of hell and he is a huge star. They never see celebrities in person. Most of them are starstruck.

by Anonymousreply 10June 21, 2018 2:35 AM

As white as a klan rally.

Duluth voted for Hilary, why is he there?

by Anonymousreply 12June 21, 2018 3:07 AM

Trump has to feel big among his minions of deplorables.

by Anonymousreply 13June 21, 2018 3:13 AM

Has any other President held rallies like this? It ‘s so obviously Hitlerian.

by Anonymousreply 14June 21, 2018 3:16 AM

No, of course not, but it was so obvious from the beginning how badly he needs them. Whenever the negative press gets to him, off he goes.

by Anonymousreply 15June 21, 2018 3:19 AM

Anti-Trump protesters marching from Duluth Civic Center to Lake Place Park ahead of the start of the Trump rally at Amsoil Arena. Will travel on Railroad Street, across parking lots from arena.

Other news stations were claiming that there were no protesters and clearly tried to cover up the local anti-Trump sentiment. The vast majority of people attending the Trump rally weren't even from Duluth or even from St. Louis county, and some came from as far away as Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and other red states.

One of the surprises of the 2016 Election was that Trump came very close to carrying Minnesota.

Hillary only won Minnesota by 1.5%.

Minnesota has been the most reliable state in the country for the Democrats over the past 4 decades. It has not voted Republican since 1972.

After what happened in 2016, the Democrats cannot afford to take Minnesota for granted.

Fuck Minnesota, R20. No pandering.

by Anonymousreply 21June 21, 2018 3:24 PM

Agreed r20 and we won't.

by Anonymousreply 22June 21, 2018 4:10 PM

Bitch, please.

Trump WiSHES one of his rallies had the production values -- and his fans the chiseled physiques -- of the actual Nazis.

He's a third-rate failure at demagoguery, just like at everything else.

The close call that Hillary had in Minnesota clearly shows that something went wrong with the Democratic campaign in the Midwest.

Not only did Hillary lose Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which had voted Democratic for decades, but she almost lost Minnesota, too.

Trump and his 2020 campaign team are probably hoping that he can eke out a victory in Minnesota next time.

While the Democrats still have the edge in Minnesota, they are now more vulnerable in Minnesota than they have been in decades.

Yeah, she didn't court the racists. How dare she?

He doesn’t need to campaign. Russia is going to change votes with machine hacking again. He stole the last election and will steal the next one too.

Which is odd considering Duluth is the county seat of St Louis County, which is the largest county east of the Mississippi. Democrats have swept St. Louis County in the last 20 consecutive presidential elections. The last Republican candidate to carry the county was Herbert Hoover in 1928, before the Great Depression.

[quote]Democrats have swept St. Louis County in the last 20 consecutive presidential elections.

The 8th District has not been an easy Democratic victory for the last few election cycles. The southern part of it now has a GOP suburban type feel. Also St. Louis County has the iron range which has a rust belt feel to it. They all want Trump to remove regulations so the mines can reign supreme (and the mines are on a bit of an upswing right now. I think there is a strong MAGA feeling in some of the small mining towns.
