That exhibit does not belong in a public library.

All we're doing is discussing the "art" made by transgenders that is on display at the San Francisco public library, r137. If you think the "art" reflects poorly on the transgender community than take it up with the San Francisco Public Library for displaying it. We didn't tell them to.

I guess moms at the library could point out this exhibit to their kids and tell them it was made by a transgender. The moms could use it as an opportunity to warn their kids that this is how trans people and their supporters view females. So, in a way, it could be educational and have some value.

"Gay" youth homeless shelters are now majority trans and "non-binary". A young lesbian I got to know online was staying at one. She was soon to age out, which was a mixed blessing because sexual harassment and abuse against lesbians and trans men were rife at that shelter. Yes, you're right, R150. I guess I'm being super emotional because I stupidly looked at that exhibit and was heartbroken. I've been an ally to transpeople and have even gone toe to toe to defend them on some of those threads. It was a transwoman on facebook who encouraged me to come out when I was 55.
