Ahem, R1. That would be a SVU crossover.

Subaru is a great ride.

For years I'd driven a (luxury?) sports sedan, four door. However, one day I'd decided I'd prefer to have just a little more metal around me in the attempt to better protect me from collisions, no matter whose fault. My 'new' SUV (I don't do 'new'; maximum depreciation the moment one drives away from the dealership): AWD, independent suspension, and, yes, rich Corinthian leather.
Not disclosing make/model. (I've already received enough shit about it.)

Porsche Macan S. You're welcome.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. I've had it for about a year and get at least 36mpg. A great car. And, Toyota's never have mechanical problems. I've been driving them for 40+ years.

Get a Volvo XC-90. But only if the hot as fuck daddy (Ron Jack Foley) comes with!

I’ve been looking at the Mazda and the Honda CR-V. The Toyota RAV4 hasn’t been updated in a while. I probably don’t drive enough miles to make the added cost of a hybrid worthwhile.
My question is more about the concept of the SUV vs. a car. I covet the ability to fit a lot of cargo even though I rarely need to.

I think the RAV4 is all new for 2019.

Rode in this the other day (Lyft) and I was impressed.

You really should only say “an SUV,” but when writing it out, you should write “a SUV..”
The a/an is tricky when preceding acronyms.

I’ve never seen anyone articulate such a rule, R12. I think you should write it as you would speak it. Otherwise you confuse people, like our President, who read by sounding out the words.

Sounded impressive, huh?
I made it up, but it’s probably true.

I'm thinking of going with a SVU/Criminal Intent Crossover
