When I think GLAMOUR, the first thing that comes to mind is Melissa McCarthy.

First Vanity Fair, now this. Are these magazines trying to go out of business as a tax write-off?

The new Glamour editor looks a bit like Melissa McCarthy.

It was cool they saved money by getting the new logo from a 1987 copy of Print Shop.

People don't want to see themselves reflected in Glamour magazine.

They don't want "Authentic. Accessible. Relevant."

They want unattainable glamour.

They might as well drop the pretense and just say "Authentic. Accessible. Relevant. Fat."

That photo looks nothing like her, or else McCarthy is having a severe allergic reaction to that spackle caked on her face. The Paula Poundstone Collection suspenders-and-button-up look doesn’t help.

r9 Yeah, I saw that too. I thought it was odd, because AARP usually features people who are at least old enough to be potential members (50 or over) and Melissa is only 47.

It looks like the cover of a 90s magazine. She's in what looks like a jumper dress and has the same hair as Roz from Frasier.

I loved Roz. She was a funny lady.

Too bad she was portrayed by such a shitty actress. It takes a special kind of talent not to get a single Emmy nomination in 11 seasons.

R13, apparently that's not the case anymore. I think the Kardashians have a lot to do with it. These mags used to dictate to women but now it's the other way around.

But all the Kardashians are is trash....

R25 glamour officially died once Kendall was accepted into the fold as a supermodel. That wouldn't have happened without the blessing of Wintour and the rest of that crowd.
