Does anyone here have a problem blushing?

I have a very bad case. It's almost always when I have to interact with a good looking straight man or a woman showing a lot of cleavage. I read it's part if having a social anxiety disorder. It's very embarrassing. I'm already on a lot of meds and don't want to take more. I guess I just have to live with it.

You mean, a problem with blushing? Your question would suggest that you are unable to blush. I think.

I blushed until I was 40.

I have this problem. Unfortunately I am really pale, so it is extremely noticeable and embarrassing.

I stopped blushing in my 20s. Around the time I became a slut. I wonder if there's a connection.

It was terrible for me, but I stopped around 23 or 24. One day I just noticed it wasn't happening anymore. YAY!

There's actually a minor surgical procedure that helps with chronic blushing.

I get very red in the face for all sorts of reasons, embarrassed flushing being just one.

I have a pink-tone complexion as well as acne-scarring/residual rosacea, so I can sometimes feel selfconscious about my skin standing out too much. It’s also virtually impossible to conceal my discomfort or true feelings on certain matters, as my face gives me away no matter what I say or do to the contrary.

Some kind folks have told me that it looks cute or attractive because it’s “healthy” & “youthful” though, so I don’t complain about it. People still card me and give me a lot of easy breaks, long after they probably should. When it comes to it I’d rather be red and blushy than pale & sickly.

Unless it's a symptom of some physiological problem, don't stress over it. It's rather charming. Mark Twain said "humans are the only species that blushes. Or needs to."
