I remember her writing an article for the daily mail where she talked about how irresponsible it was for Madeline McCann's parents to leave her on her own like that. She basically said that they shared a lot of the blame for their daughters abduction and they weren't being called on it.

To be honest, I thought she had a point.

Katie Hopkins still manage to line up some good points to look articulate and stay relevant. Why the British media are giving her the time of the day baffle me, she is a giant troll, her twitter is just pure bait, and she dare play the victim. She doesn't deserve the media attention, people feel free to be openly racist after watching her giving interview. UK doesn't have freedom of speech like the US, in Europe, hate speech is illegal.

R4: To be fair, the resort the family were staying at did have child minding facilities. However, they were only supposed to look in on the children every hour. The service was also only intended for kids over a certain age.

I also remember reading an interview with other families who stayed at the resort around the same time as the McCanns, and many of them stated that they felt uncomfortable leaving their children unsupervised during their stay there.

I think the management was providing a child minding service on the cheap.

R5: Katie Hopkins always stoops to the lowest common denominator. The reason why she gets press is due to her saying things many people agree on but the mainstream media refuse to cover. As r3 mentioned, the McCanns should never have left their little girl alone late at night like they did. However, the British media treated them like some kind of sacred cow, Katie Hopkins just stated what everybody else was thinking.
