I wonder if trans people are tired of being used as a marketing gimmick. It isn't enough to simply include them in things, we have to call attention to the fact they're being included to show how "accepting" we are. It is very transparent (no pun intended) to me. These companies get a lot of free publicity when people post "first trans whatever" news articles on social media.

But yeah, let's market our product to the smallest possible niche out there-women who are taking testosterone and need a tampon for a few months til their periods stop. Makes sense. As dollars well spent.
