I think it may have been the biggest pop hit of 1977, and the album Bat Out of Hell from which it came the biggest-selling album that year. (And to top it off, Bonnie Tyler released a cover version in 1995.)

Lana Del Rey and Leonard Cohen's son Adam sang a cold and pretty duet on Chelsea Hotel #2. The song is really about Cohen fucking Janis Joplin and not giving a fuck about her. I can't get it out of my head.
