I did find it disturbing at how many het males went berserk, a couple of years ago, on social media when the identity of Jack the Ripper was "revealed" to be Aaron Kosminski (the jury is still out on whether AK really was Jack). The general consensus amongst dudebros was that the media had ruined the mystery and spoiled the fun. Sad.

I agree with R8, too. It is such a cruel insult. They make movies, TV shows about this murders and entertainment and create a mysterious fascinating killer, and there are all those crime shows that reenact it for entertainment and the decades anniversary shows to celebrate it.
