I had read Susan Sarandon had done two soap operas when she first moved to New York, but never saw any photographs of her in them, or anything.
But there's an episode of A WORLD APART on youtube! Interesting.

It's interesting that though these are early jobs, Sarandon and Turner's looks, styles and techniques are already completely formed.

I remember my cousin, who baby sat me, watched the soap Sarandon was in. The only other thing I remember from that time was that my cousin made Chef Boyardee pizza from a box for my lunch.

I used to watch A World Apart when I could (I was in high school). Matthew Cowles (Billy Clyde Tuggle on AMC) played Patrice's (Susan Sarandon's) brother. I remember when AWA debuted (same day as All My Children) and when it got canceled.
