Jeff Bridges in THE BIG LEBOWSKI

Even stinky and unwashed looking he was hot.

by Anonymousreply 50Last Sunday at 11:00 AM

Yep. And he was smoking even earlier in stuff. Often showed ass and showed his cock a couple times. Pure piece of ass.

by Anonymousreply 112/07/2017

He could be totally in shape like in American Heart and of course be a stud, and then put on some pounds and still be hot like in TBL.

by Anonymousreply 212/07/2017

This movie is popular with clueless republican cheese dicks.

by Anonymousreply 312/07/2017

Hated that weird stoned scene with all the vaginas.

by Anonymousreply 412/07/2017

r3, you're quite the fool. It's hugely popular with a lot of people.

All these tiresome queens like r3 making up shit...

by Anonymousreply 512/07/2017

“The dangerous thing about FCC chairman Ajit Pai is that he presents himself as a fun, down-to-earth nerd. The kind of guy whose Twitter feed is full of quotes from The Big Lebowski. He quotes it all the time. And look, quoting The Big Lebowski is fine in certain contexts, for example if you’re an actor and it’s 1998 and you’re filming the movie The Big Lebowski, but it is completely intolerable in any other context.”

[quote] This movie is popular with clueless republican cheese dicks.

He was hotter in TRON, which was made by that same demographic.

by Anonymousreply 712/07/2017

Starman was one of my favorite inspirational movies as a teen. Prime wank material.

by Anonymousreply 812/07/2017

Shame he didn't do a full frontal in the70's

by Anonymousreply 912/07/2017

TBL is a cult favorite. Cult favorites are not so just because of one demographic.

by Anonymousreply 1012/07/2017

But nothing and I do mean NOTHING ever looked so good as Jeff Bridges in " Against All Odds."

Talk about wank material.

by Anonymousreply 1112/07/2017

I love how he constantly sits with his legs wide open in TBL.

by Anonymousreply 1212/07/2017

He did, r9--a fleeting frontal in 1975's RANCHO DELUXE.

by Anonymousreply 1312/07/2017

[quote]nothing and I do mean NOTHING ever looked so good as Jeff Bridges in " Against All Odds."

And in this scene in particular. The glimpse of golden brown pubic hair makes me crazy.

by Anonymousreply 1412/07/2017

I like TBL, and I wonder if it would have been at all watchable with a different actor as The Dude. Bridges is so attractive and likeable that you forgive the character a hell of a lot and root for him, with the wrong actor we'd probably despise him.

Bridges is one of those rare men who's hot at every stage of life.

by Anonymousreply 1512/07/2017

I was so disappointed with "The Big Lebowski" that I watching Coen brothers films after that. It's like the Coen brothers trying to make a John Waters film but with none of the charm of his films. And Jeff Bridges trying to do a Tommy Chong impression. Our neighbors have movie nights in the summer, and one time it was"The Big Lebowski." Of the 25-30 people there at the beginning, only 4 of us sat it out until the ending.

by Anonymousreply 1612/07/2017

R8 is so right. Bridges was so gorgeous in Starman that he inspired my little 5 yoa penis to learn to swell. Physically, he was pretty damn close to perfect. I love his bearish swashbuckling persona present day as well - but he no longer is a wank material for me. He is a great actor nonetheless and I hope to see lots more of him in his later years.

R16:

by Anonymousreply 1812/07/2017

Bridges was an All-American hottie in his younger years.

Nowadays, it's hard for me to look at him. He talks like his dentures are falling out.

by Anonymousreply 1912/07/2017

He's in my personal hottie list along with Tom berenger and Dennis quaid. When they were under 40 or so.

by Anonymousreply 2012/07/2017

Jeff Bridges is ALWAYS hot. That hair, man.

I loved that he got into his Dude character when John Goodman was getting his star on the walk of fame. He pulled that hilarious cardigan out of a bowling bag 😂

by Anonymousreply 2112/08/2017

"Hey man I've got a beverage here"

by Anonymousreply 2212/08/2017

I had never noticed it, R14. This guy is super hot. Always has been.

by Anonymousreply 2312/08/2017

If I was Edward Furlong, I would’ve come on to him during the filming of American Heart...

by Anonymousreply 2412/08/2017

❤️❤️❤️❤️

by Anonymousreply 2512/08/2017

🔥🔥🔥🔥

by Anonymousreply 2612/08/2017

Agree -- Jeff Bridges is the rare guy who was hot AND cool at the same time.

And although the hotness has naturally declined with age, he's cooler than ever, IMO.

Sigh!

by Anonymousreply 2712/08/2017

[quote]He did, [R9]--a fleeting frontal in 1975's RANCHO DELUXE.

Doesn't count, it was shot thru trees and bushes from afar and you couldn't see anything. He could have been wearing a cocksock for all you see.

by Anonymousreply 2812/08/2017

No one has mentioned besides all the physical stuff he has going on he has the sexiest voice. Velvety and full throated. Sexy, sexy man.

by Anonymousreply 2912/08/2017

......

by Anonymousreply 3012/08/2017

Just oozes sex appeal . Always has . Even when he’s fat and unkempt . Very masculine and funny guy .

by Anonymousreply 3112/08/2017

Seeing it years later, it might not even be him....

by Anonymousreply 3212/08/2017

Funny - I first saw his brother beau in a film called “gaily gaily” on tv late one night - and my adolescent gayling self thought he was just the most cutest, wonderful thing I’d ever seen...

His looks didn’t really last though. And soon Jeff came along - and was absolutely breathtaking. Just the best and most authentic piece of American manhood that was out there. Love the guy!

by Anonymousreply 3312/08/2017

He was sexy as fuck - one of the hottest men in his prime. And he still is to those who are near and around his age. Cuter than a button and very fetching.

by Anonymousreply 3412/08/2017

Jeff Bridges was never a stunner, but he's SO attractive! Totally masculine, but in a completely good-natured way. He comes across as the kind of guy who's fun to hang out with, interesting to get to know, even more fun in bed, and someone you could grow old with. The perfect life partner.

The kind of man that doesn't seem to exist in real life, but that's what the movies are for.

by Anonymousreply 35Last Saturday at 12:36 AM

Plus he's a fantastic actor and usually chose really interesting material e.e. Cutter's Way.

by Anonymousreply 36Last Saturday at 2:40 AM

Beau came on the scene first and I thought he was so cute. He didn't keep his looks too long because he had no chin and got portly too fast. When Jeff came on the scene, he was so handsome, all the qualities for a leading man. Plus he seems like a good guy, been married to the same woman for years.

by Anonymousreply 37Last Saturday at 12:04 PM

r32, that's definitely him. He didn't have stand-ins doing nudity for him. Especially way back in '75.

r33, brother Beau showed his ass in that movie. You can find it.

Jeff Bridges was "never a stunner," r35?

by Anonymousreply 38Last Saturday at 1:59 PM

I find all that Jeff rather stunning.

by Anonymousreply 39Last Saturday at 2:04 PM

He was in a movie called The American Success Company that I saw with my mother around 1980 when I was 10. He was absolutely gorgeous at the time and I recall him having steamy love scenes or I might have imagined it. Think the movie is up on YouTube I have always wanted to see again as an adult since he left such and impression on me at the time. I think he is still a gorgeous man.

Proud Papa................

by Anonymousreply 42Last Saturday at 2:17 PM

Hopefully the boys didn't inherit their father's penchant for sniffing glue.

by Anonymousreply 43Last Saturday at 2:22 PM

NO!!

by Anonymousreply 44Last Saturday at 2:23 PM

I like his golden retriever eyes.

by Anonymousreply 45Last Saturday at 2:51 PM

[quote]that's definitely him. He didn't have stand-ins doing nudity for him. Especially way back in '75.

He was wearing a mask so you can not say definitively it was him. He had already been in "The last Picture Show", "Fat City", Bad Company", The Last American Hero" and even "Thunderbolt & Lightfoot" . He was an established star. He would definitely have a stand in if he didn't want to do the full frontal.

by Anonymousreply 46Last Saturday at 4:06 PM

I can't get r32 to play. Anyone have a better link?

by Anonymousreply 47Last Saturday at 5:19 PM

Nude stand-ins weren't really a thing in the '70s.

by Anonymousreply 48Last Sunday at 10:19 AM

That's the scene which left many a theater seat damp R14.

He was like something out of a fantasy painting of male succulence.

by Anonymousreply 49Last Sunday at 10:58 AM

[quote] Even stinky

Ugh... you know I hate that word, Bobby!
