An impostor sign language interpreter crashed a Tampa police press conference. Police were announcing a major arrest in the recent Seminole Heights murders.
Phony sign language interpreter signs gibberish

OMG I'm sorry but that's hilarious!
|by Anonymous||reply 1||12/06/2017|
Fucking hilarious! Apparently the same thing happened in a Hurricane conference - the guy signed "Pizza" and "Bear Monster".
|by Anonymous||reply 2||12/06/2017|
This is oddly not that uncommon.
There was a whole thing with Mandela a long time ago-- he gave a speech and the sign language interpreter had no clue, was just making random hand gestures.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||12/06/2017|
It also happened at Nelson Mandelas funeral iirc. That was hilarious too.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||12/06/2017|
Is it some kind of borderline pathology?

Fake Irma interpreter
|by Anonymous||reply 6||12/06/2017|
It’s hilarious until you’re a deaf person who is desperate for hurricane evacuation news.
It’s also so disrespectful to deaf people in general. It’s like translating a speech for a Chinese audience by saying “Ching Chong, Ching Chong!”
|by Anonymous||reply 7||12/06/2017|
r6 That was different, it was just some guy who they knowingly used in a "pinch", he obviously wasn't well versed as he probably let on.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||12/06/2017|
If you’re putting someone on TV in front of millions of viewers, you should make sure that they know what they’re doing. There’s just no excuse in the world.
At the same time, it is funny to watch if you don’t have to rely on them for life saving information.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||12/06/2017|
It's not hilarious you juvenile wankers. It's ridiculous and insulting to deaf people. And it's happened several times at important events. How the fuck did this imposter just wander in? Is it open house? If there isn't already, there should be a register of properly qualified signers that public bodies can use and stop this nonsense.

This woman is a career con artist with the rap sheet to prove it. They don't even know how she got there, because they have a standing arrangement with a firm that provides interpreters.
One deaf lady said it looked like she was singing, which is hilarious. If you don't find this shit funny, since it wasn't relaying anything life altering, get a life.

R10 Listen proper Brit Britney, of course it's wrong but none the less funny as hell.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||12/06/2017|
Yeah it's hilarious. Sure it's also dangerous, silly and insulting too. But an adult making ridiculous faces and movements while spouting gibberish among all the sober officials is funny.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||12/06/2017|
It is pretty hilarious, especially with the faces she makes and the shaking her hands out.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||12/06/2017|
I expect you enjoyed trump's "spastic" impersonation too R14. Some of you are very easily amused.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||12/06/2017|
R15 Yes dear. That's why we are in here
|by Anonymous||reply 16||12/06/2017|
I'm glad to see that it's not always someone from a historically disadvantaged group with well-known language deficiencies of other kinds who pulls this stunt.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||12/06/2017|
This clown and her fans on Datalounge are pathetic.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||12/06/2017|
"Disabled people are hilarious!" - the average bird-brained DL.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||12/06/2017|
No one is laughing at hearing-impaired people, you sanctimonious twatwaffles. Jeez, how did you people find DL, anyway? Do you not realize where you are, you poor lost tards?
|by Anonymous||reply 20||12/06/2017|
R6 Pizza and Bear monster! Brouhaha!
|by Anonymous||reply 21||12/06/2017|
I am having a hard time finding the background. Are these people doing pranks? Getting paid for something they don't know how to do?
|by Anonymous||reply 22||12/06/2017|
CHRIST, everyone wants to be in show business - -
|by Anonymous||reply 23||12/06/2017|
|by Anonymous||reply 24||12/06/2017|
OMG. Hilarious. That bitch is welcome here anytime!
|by Anonymous||reply 25||12/06/2017|
"Purple oxygen dancing zipper eat newspaper popcorn water. Bukake. Tub of frosting."
|by Anonymous||reply 26||12/06/2017|
The Hurricane guy in the yellow shirt has family members who are deaf and has a limited knowledge of sign language. He works for the city and was pressured to sign for the hurricane update/evacuation notice.
The woman is pathological/crazy and is a convicted conwoman.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||12/06/2017|
This is one of those things where I feel horribly guilty for laughing . Not at the deaf or the disabled, but at her conviction and dedication to her craft. Wonder how she slipped in .
|by Anonymous||reply 28||12/06/2017|
|by Anonymous||reply 29||12/06/2017|
I can't stop laughing at this.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||12/06/2017|
Such passion, appointment and flair. Perfect that she is nuts amongst the suits.
