Why Won't Anyone Admit That Pelosi Is Afraid of The Congressional Black Caucus

and that's the reason she didn't call for Conyers to hit the road? That's the only reason why anyone didn't come right out and tell him to beat it. Now they're trying to rewrite history and saying she failed to tell Franken to get lost and that she's some sort of racist. The Congressional Black Caucus will not be told what to do. Their members went on camera and pulled the race card non-stop trying to save his ass and did everything but spit at reporters. They want to blame Pelosi's age and other female members and try pretending that this is a generational thing -- that these women come from a time where sexual harassment was permissible. Everyone was simply afraid to be called a racist by the committee. I wish someone would just call a spade a spade already. It's how Conyers lasted as long as he did.

Why SHOULD Franken and Conyers hit the road? You are the one playing the race card. If Roy Moore can be in congress why can't Franken and Conyers who at least didn't target children? If Republicans can support their own why can't we?

by Anonymousreply 112/06/2017

Are you for real, r1? Do you know nothing about what Conyers was doing? Are you just being willfully retarded?

by Anonymousreply 212/06/2017

r2, you are the retarded one. Conyers is not worse than Roy Moore.

sentenced former Congressman Chaka Fattah, Sr., to 10 years in prison for his conviction last June on racketeering charges

2 days ago - Corrine Brown on Monday to five years in federal prison for fraud and tax crimes that include raising about $800000 for a sham charity,

Eddie Bernice Johnson: This twelve-term Democrat from Dallas similarly helped steer thousands of dollars in Congressional Black Caucus Foundation college scholarships to four family members and two of her top aide’s children, in violation of the nonprofit’s rules.

Maxine Waters: past chair of the Congressional Black Caucus walked away with a slap on the wrist from the toothless House Ethics Committee in 2012 after being charged with multiple ethics violations related to her meddling in minority-owned OneUnited Bank.

Alcee Hastings, the twelve-term Florida impeached by a federal judge in 1989 for making false statements and producing false documents in a 1983 criminal trial accusing him of seeking a $150,000 bribe. He went on to win a seat in Congress in 1992 and used his position to enrich his various lady friends – he paid one girlfriend-turned-congressional-deputy-district-director more than half a million dollars in salary, and paid another female “staff assistant” to accompany him on his endless junkets abroad.

In 2009, Monica Conyers (the Mrs) pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery in connection with a Detroit sludge-hauling scandal. As a member of the City Council two years earlier, she cast the deciding vote in favor of awarding a $1.2 billion contract to Synagro Technologies. She ended up serving 27 months in federal prison in West Virginia.

Nov 16, 2010 - A House panel on Tuesday found Representative Charles B. Rangel guilty of 11 counts of ethical violations, ruling that his failure to pay some taxes, improper solicitation of charitable donations and failure to accurately report his personal income had brought dishonor on the House.

A RICO investigation would be in order for the CBC.

[quote][R2], you are the retarded one. Conyers is not worse than Roy Moore.

by Anonymousreply 512/06/2017

Uh, Conyers is in Congress, Franken's in the Senate. Pelosi doesn't handle Senate stuff.

Nice try.

by Anonymousreply 612/06/2017

The Congressional Black Caucus needs to be fully investigated.

by Anonymousreply 712/06/2017

Why would Pelosi "admit" to something so manifestly false, not to mention stupid?

by Anonymousreply 812/06/2017

Figures: OP was also the one who started the thread:

Yeah, moron he did.

by Anonymousreply 912/06/2017

Why do you guys keep bringing up Roy Moore? He hasn’t been elected. They can’t expel him from the Senate if he hasn’t even been sworn in yet. And there’s a decent chance that Doug Jones will beat him before he even gets the chance.

by Anonymousreply 1012/06/2017

I don't think Pelosi is afraid of anyone.

by Anonymousreply 1112/06/2017

r11, don't interrupt the trolls attempt to play the race card.
