"My Daughter Has Been Betrayed" - Matt Lauer's Father-In-Law
Annette Roque is seen for the first time in Sag Habour. The news is not good for Matt. His father-in-law, Henri Roque is quoted by the DM:
"She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out.'I have no words for her husband. What he has done is bad. Everybody feels betrayed."

He should mind his own fucking business. Is he also in the marriage?
|by Anonymous||reply 1||Last Wednesday at 5:43 AM|
You don't think he should have a say about his own daughter's well being? Get real.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||Last Wednesday at 5:45 AM|
His daughter is his fucking business. Just shut it Matt !
|by Anonymous||reply 3||Last Wednesday at 5:47 AM|
He's upset for her ever since he heard that Matt probably won't be getting that 30 million dollar payout from NBC.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||Last Wednesday at 5:55 AM|
Daddy was perfectly happy for his daughter all those years her husband was supporting her with his fame and fortune. This is simply the first salvo in the divorce wars.

Mr. Roque added: '[Annette] is feeling shocked and she is now having sorrow for her children. Me too. Everybody is feeling quite sad.
'There are also the kids, I don’t know what she’s doing or who they are going to stay with.'
Mr. Roque, who worked as director of human resources for the city of Amsterdam until he retired, lives alone in a small flat on the top floor of an apartment block.
He added: 'I feel s**t about the whole thing. The situation is so bad. I have met Matt, he was a nice guy. I feel kind of betrayed. It’s my own daughter. I don’t know how the kids are doing.'
Mr. Roque denied reports that his daughter fled the country to be with her family in the Netherlands. He said: 'I speak to her often. I last spoke to her on Sunday. I asked her if she was in Amsterdam, she said no, I am in the Hamptons.
'It was all bulls**t stories. She’s not in Holland. It’s all fake news. It’s s**t news. Bulls**t news. She’s in America.'

Foul mouth Dutchie for sure.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||Last Wednesday at 6:16 AM|
Retired from a city management job and all he has is a small flat to show for it? I guess government jobs aren't as good over there as they are here.

That pulled-back hairdo is not doing her any favors.

No wedding ring from the former "Cock of The Rock."
The "Cock of the Rock" was Martha's joke about the workplace nickname given to Matt Lauer by NBC Execs at a "top-secret roast" for him in 2008.
The Friars Club roast took place at the New York Hilton and was attended by everyone from future President Donald Trump to TV legend Norman Lear to a constellation of New York’s media elite including Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer, Nancy O’Dell and Howard Stern. Also on hand were numerous top executives from across the business and almost everyone who was anyone at NBC News.
Katie Couric gave her top 10 Matt Lauer Likes. "He likes to eat Curry" as the audience went into hysterics. With Ann Curry present.

He’s talking about his daughter. Who the fuck are you? This is way more his “business” than yours, you stupid cunt.

Annett doing the weekly grocery shopping for Matt in photo, r10.

His daughter has been betrayed by Matt since the day they got married. Of course he's had a $30 million a year paycheck coming in. Now that the paycheck has stopped, she's done with the marriage.
Had he been exposed by the media for sexual harassment and still been able to keep his job, she'd stay in the marriage

And Daddy would be shouting from the rooftops about the "bullshit accusations".

Matt also removes his wedding ring. It's official Divorce in the Works.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||Last Wednesday at 9:55 AM|
R14 Maybe the difference is now she knows he is a rapey sexual predator as opposed to a general fuck about.
A woman might stay married to a cheater but draw the line at staying with a groping, harrasser and rapist.
You seem like the type to stand by your man. That is so noble. Spacey needs a guy like you in his life.

She is already pretty damned divorced from Lauer, minus the paper and ink.
The only shocked people here might be the kids. She tried to divorce him years ago, for the exact same reasons why she will probably divorce him now.
She was smart to stay hitched and will now get a larger settlement that she would have previously.
I’m not sure how many New Yorkers are on this thread, but just as an FYI to those who are not from the city, and not familiar with the social pages in the Daily News, and the like, she was a VERY beautiful woman when she first married him. She’s still very pretty, just older.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||Last Wednesday at 10:59 AM|
Beautiful and tastefully dressed in the 90s.

R14, a lot of people found the remote control button to lock his office door from his desk to be a major red flag. Lauer was not just a womanizing cad as long rumored; he was clearly a serial abuser on a power trip. No one does something like that for no reason. He had that door-locking button installed because he was a mega-star anchor that no one would dare challenge, and so he could lure women to his office and lock them in once he had them where he wanted them.
He’s a fucking monster. I hope criminal charges are coming because that sounds like kidnapping to me.

It’s obvious she shares the same dermatologist and plastic surgeon with Melania b
I also believe that they were both introduced to their prospective husbands by the same “talent agent”.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||Last Wednesday at 11:10 AM|
That's a hard faced woman
|by Anonymous||reply 22||Last Wednesday at 11:15 AM|
He just had to twist the knife, didn't he?

Pass the Dutchie on the left hand side.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||Last Wednesday at 11:19 AM|
Obviously he is angry about the settlement more than any thing else. I can't blame him. Half of that could provide for a good nursing home.

Matt will get hired somewhere else...FOX?

Here she is “modeling “ with the same exact background behind her as Kara Young. Kara Young had actual modeling gigs and then she didn’t.
Interestingly enough, Kara Young also dated DJT.
I was told years ago that Victoria’s Secret procured their models for wealth elite and celebrities. I had completely forgotten about this tidbit until now.
Annette better get her money, because her “modeling days” are over.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||Last Wednesday at 11:25 AM|
They don't have to be r27!
|by Anonymous||reply 28||Last Wednesday at 11:27 AM|
R11, that roast is devastating for NBC's side. I'm particularly disgusted by Couric and Merideth Viera.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||Last Wednesday at 11:38 AM|
R29, really disgusted too.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||Last Wednesday at 11:41 AM|
They've been living apart for years, Annette put up with it.
I'm shocked how masculine Annette looks. She was a model? I don't recall her ever doing popular ad campaigns, let alone the runway or editorials, maybe in Holland?
|by Anonymous||reply 31||Last Wednesday at 11:57 AM|
She was an escort, r31, just like Melania.
Jade aka Annette Roque, actually did get some modeling gigs here and there, however. I’m not trying to give her shit by mentioning her humble beginnings, by the way. Lots of models do this in order to supplement their income and meet potential husbands.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||Last Wednesday at 12:08 PM|
Albeit partly her choice, she wasted a good chunk of her quality years with him. Ouch!
|by Anonymous||reply 33||Last Wednesday at 12:09 PM|
The androgynous look was in at that time--see Linda Evangelista, who was huge at that point.
But I'm with R17, a lot of women married to rich, powerful men know that they casually cheat--and it's kind of accepted as the cost of being married to one of these men. They look the other way, stay married for the kids, money and social position. Knowing you're married to a predatory rapist is a whole different thing. With the public scandal, your life is upended, anyway, so what's the point in staying?
Wonder how Georgina Chapman is doing--unlike these other women, her business was tied closely to Weinstein's antics. I don't have much sympathy for her because she had to know, on some level, that those actresses were being strong-armed to wear her clothes. She was an enabler like so many of the people around Weinstein. And I'm someone who feels a little sorry for Melania.

Lauer's own words at his 2008 Roast as reported by The Village Voice:
"The twice-married Lauer wasn’t finished joking about sleeping with female contemporaries.
“What’s with all the small-d— jokes? It was fun to look over and see Ann Curry laughing … like she doesn’t know how big my d— really is,” Lauer said, wrapping up an event that the Village Voice called “three hours of d— jokes"
|by Anonymous||reply 37||Last Wednesday at 12:31 PM|
The wife looks like a miserable, skinny, rich, and unfucked woman.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||Last Wednesday at 12:35 PM|
In other words, R38, she looks just like you, just without the rich part.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||Last Wednesday at 12:41 PM|
R36 any prenup will be torn up and thown out in light of the accusations against Lauer. Any decent lawyer and get a prenup thrown out if the spouse was a serial cheater and basically a sex offender at work.

|by Anonymous||reply 42||Last Wednesday at 1:20 PM|
Yeah, I ask myself that every day, r42.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||Last Wednesday at 1:26 PM|
A ladies’ man for an estranged wife is OK—- but now she is married to a rapist. Ouch.
Did Annette knew. Her dad was going to talk to the press?
|by Anonymous||reply 45||Last Wednesday at 1:26 PM|
I suspect if the press located the father, the father slammed Lauer and told the press the relationship is over and that his daughter is not in Holland - that Annette gave her father permission to issue a statement on her behalf, r45.

[quote]The Friars Club roast took place at the New York Hilton and was attended by everyone from future President Donald Trump
So they were pals going back years and he was still given the chance to moderate the debate, which he did with full bias against HRC?
Fuck NBC all to hell.

Denis Leary in NY Daily News:
"I thought he was a creepy, douchey guy from the get-go,” a fiery Leary said, to a cheering audience.
I stopped being interviewed by him on the Today show about 10 years ago because he was so creepy. … I just got a weird, weaselly vibe from the guy, and I said to my publicist, I said, ‘I don’t want to be interviewed by him any longer.’”
|by Anonymous||reply 49||Last Friday at 1:51 PM|
r49 sure Jan. Sorry, but I don’t believe Dennis was the dumper in that relationship. Dennis, himself, is an epic douchebro.

|by Anonymous||reply 54||Last Friday at 11:07 PM|
Dennis Leary is a creepy guy who publicly cheated on his wife with that skank Elizabeth Hurley and embarrassed her to within an inch of her life. I do not doubt that he told his publicist he didn't want to be interviewed by Matt, but it was only so he could be with the women. That's the only reason. I actually used to really like him as a stand up comedian. But his Fireman show was pure shit. The plot was every woman on the show wanted to fuck his character, who happened to be a scumbag
|by Anonymous||reply 55||19 hours ago|
Annette is a handsome woman.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||19 hours ago|
The last time we talked about this, you bitches tore me a new one for saying she was a model the same way Melania was. And for saying she looks “mannish”.
|by Anonymous||reply 57||19 hours ago|
A skank, r55? Here is proof that Elizabeth Hurley can hold her own in conversations with Presidents.
