Xanax, Codeine, Valium, Adderall - what's your preferred prescription?
I'm in the UK and like to stock up on Solpadeine Max, which is a red box containing 30 tablets, each containing 500 mg paracetemol and 13mg codeine. Four of those and you have a happy haze.
These tablets are only £6 and are available from any high street chemist here.

I'm scared of pills that can cause addiction and lead to more serious problems
I only take ibuprophen occasionally for back and neck pain.

R1, you are a boring little spaz.

I used to fly to Toronto and load up on those tablets(which were known as 2/2/2) twice a year.
If only they were available OTC here,

The odd Xanax when I'm at work, before or after a stressful presentation.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/10/2017|
Xanax is yummy and so is codeine but Valium turns me into a bit of a spaz so I avoid it.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||11/10/2017|
The OTC codeine can also be extracted really easily so you get rid of the nasty paracetemol but I won't go into exactly how,.

Phentermine is great and that's also available for £50 a month from private clinics in London.
The first time I took phentermine was a revelation. I was struggling to drop 20 pounds and had tried 1000 cals a day for a while and only lost half a stone. My weight had plateaued. I got on the phentermine and it was as if my appetite had been anaesthetised! I would test it by picking up chocolate bars in shops and there was nothing.
I easily stuck to 500 calories a day and lost the extra weight in about a month. The drug had an even more dramatic effect on some of my friends who had faster metabolisms. It also blocks all the anti social side effects of a low calorie diet, such as a rumbling stomach and bad breath.

Hey OP, can we be pen-pals???
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/10/2017|
Hey R9, if you live in the US your postal service screens packages for imported meds!
I know this because some codeine I ordered from Germany got sent to the US by mistake. They opened it, then looked up my address and sent it on to me in the UK.

I used to go on beach breaks alone when I lived in London. I'd take a plane out to Mallorca Friday night and come back Monday morning. It was only a 2 hour flight and cost about £100 return. I'd take a bottle of multivitamins and hide codeine and Xanax tablets in the middle.
I'd take them on the beach, not too much, just enough so I felt happy sunbathing and swimming all by my lonesome. The sea is the most sublime translucent turquoise in parts of Mallorca and I would be slowly swimming around looking down at the seabed and smiling to myself.

Here is a visual of the kind of place I ended up.

Xanax is a gorgeous swoony drug but my God watch out for the withdrawals if you get addicted, far worse than from opiates and actually life threatening if you're on more than about 2mg a day.
I had a friend who got addicted to 6 mg a day through ordering pills online and suddenly run out when a package was lost in the mail. He tried to tough it out and ended up in the Emergency room having seizures. It's has to be an incremental withdrawal, doctor supervised.

Is Alpraxolam the same thing as Xanax? I take the former as a sleeping pill and am just about addicted to at least a half a pill every night.
Am I bad?
|by Anonymous||reply 16||11/10/2017|
About 10 years ago, happy pills were insanely easy to get online. Soma was my favorite downer, and my favorite upper was Didrex, a diet pills that metabolizes to meth once ingested.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/10/2017|
R16, yes, alprazolam and Xanax are the same thing. You'll suffer if you stop taking that pill, the insomnia will be terrible, so make sure you don't run out.

Isn't that too much paracetamol at once, OP? That stuff's bad for your liver.
Though I tell my boyfriend (also a Brit) and his friends that all the time, and they don't care. It's a wonder any of them have livers left at all.

Klonopin is better than Xanax.
The comedown is much smoother.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/10/2017|
You guys are a bunch of dug addicts. You are not going to be able to stop especially with the Benzos, but then again, you'll never try!

[quote] Solpadeine Max, which is a red box containing 30 tablets, each containing 500 mg paracetemol and 13mg codeine
That gets you high? That is a really weak amount. Tylenol #3 is twice that strength and it doesn't give me a buzz
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/10/2017|
I prefer the pick and mix counter.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||11/10/2017|
R13 I know exactly what you mean. That pic reminds me of the beaches on the Costa Brava where I would take weekend breaks while in Barcelona. Codeine was available OTC there as well(at least in the 90s.)
|by Anonymous||reply 26||11/10/2017|
Does xanax taste as bad as alpraxolam? Do they make it uncoated just so it will be horribly unpleasant to swallow?
|by Anonymous||reply 27||11/11/2017|
Alprazolam is the generic form of Xanax. It might be a somewhat different chemical make up, so it might have a different taste.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||11/11/2017|
R6, care to elaborate?
Paracetamol, aka acetaminophen, aka tylenol is nasty, toxic, poisonous shit and no amount of giddy, floaty, buzzing high you get from the codeine is worth the damage done by the former.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||11/11/2017|
R23, you get a pleasant buzz off taking four of them at once. The best thing about them is that they are legal and you don't have to go to a doctor for them. I live in London and once I walked the length of Oxford Street and went into every Boots to buy a packet. Ended up with 100s of them.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||11/11/2017|
Hey R31. Look up 'cold water extraction' on the internet. You need a coffee filter, a pill crusher and a fridge. This only works for acetaminophen and codeine. Don't try it if the pills contain anything else. It's easy and it works but I'm not putting it on here, don't want to get banned.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||11/11/2017|
Is alprazolam cheaper than xanax?
|by Anonymous||reply 34||11/11/2017|
Alprozalam is cheaper, it's the generic Xanax.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||11/12/2017|
I prefer Valium to xanax, ativan, etc. It has a longer half-life and is less jerky for me (if that makes sense.) Dr prescribed it when I was 12 and I've taken it, in small doses, ever since. It's the best thing for a hangover that there is (though I quit drinking for my liver's sake - I was a binger). The second best hangover remedy I found was Amaretto - but it's still not as good as Valium.

Someone told me he was taking a pill for depression and anxiety - but I missed the name. Anyone know what it is and if it works?
|by Anonymous||reply 37||11/12/2017|
£180 for a single bottle of pills? So much for socialised medicine.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||11/15/2017|
"Someone told me he was taking a pill for depression and anxiety"
Escitalopram, aka Lexapro.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||11/15/2017|
My preference is Methylphenidate, the generic Ritalin, but it's a necessity for me. I get my prescription filled once a month, behind all of the grade school and college kids.
I can't really tolerate the benzos, and any narcotics have to be taken in half or quarter doses.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||11/15/2017|
R41 , I was taking 100-120 mg of that a day but I finally stopped. It evened me out, but it was like a layer of cotton between me and the world and I decided it wasn't worth it. I don't miss it most of the time.
