It doesn't surprise me that the average Datalounger doesn't understand the significance of this show and its importance to the newest generation of our community. The elders are so far removed from their youth that can't imagine how impressive and gratifying it would be for a gay kid to see a gay kid portrayed realistically on a TV network whose programming is geared for them and that has never ever had an openly gay young character on any of their shows. And the 20-somethings are just too self-absorbed and stupid to get that.
Young gay people are still killing themselves because they don't feel safe or secure in this world and can't see that "it gets better." Shows like this and characters like Cyrus, and Jude on "The Fosters," are helping kids cope with the homophobia of Trump's America. We need to support these shows, not mock them.

Cute show. Though my one sticking point is the main character is supposedly 1/4 Chinese and 3/4 white, but looks more Asian than her 50/50 mother.
It's cute that you think Disney will show a same sex middle school kiss [R32]
If they could do it for chipmunks, they can do it for humans. There was a same-sex kiss between Ed Asner and an unconscious football player in 1976's [italic]Gus[/italic], and a year later in [italic]Pete's Dragon[/italic], Red Buttons dons a dress to shill patent medicines and gets extremely touchy with Mickey Rooney while drunk. Once Touchstone came along, Edward Herrmann as one half of a gay couple in [italic]Big Business[/italic], and of course some gay-themed Miramax films they no longer own. There's a widely circulated photo of Johnny and Toby from [italic]Song of the South[/italic] holding hands along with Uncle Remus and Ginny on the Disney lot. That movie also has a scene with Johnny getting teased by bullies over a lace shirt collar.
Basically they've been trying to have it both ways for years and they only adopt social change once the majority of people are okay with it. But they've thrown out hints.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 20, 2017 4:28 AM |

This is why I always used to bristle at the smarminess of that "express yourself" slogan they used to have in the early 2000s when I was a teenager. They didn't really mean it because they still made your options hetero or nothing. Now that's finally changing.

by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 20, 2017 7:40 PM |
I ended up seeing the episode, and it was pretty well done, in my opinion. The kid has a girlfriend, but in the next episode, he recoils in horror when she tries to kiss him, so it doesn't seem like they're going down the bi route. So far, they haven't gone anywhere else with the storyline, except having him act overly excited when the crush (for lack of a better word) pays him any kind of attention - "Do you see that? Jonah Beck sayin' hi to me? Like, wha'ever." For what it's worth, the crush seems oblivious, so I don't think they're getting a Disney happy ending together.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 20, 2017 7:50 PM |
The show itself at least looked like it was at least less stupid and creepy than most of the sitcoms they've had over the past several years.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 20, 2017 7:58 PM |
Jonah Beck is pretty oblivious about everything. Cyrus can do a lot better.

I was pleased to see Connor as Jude's first boyfriend on The Fosters. The skaterboy and jockboy types can be (and are) gay too. Good of ABC/Disney to break down stereotypes.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | February 12, 2018 10:49 AM |
I think it will be pretty progressive if they gave Cyrus a popular jock boyfriend, but I wonder if the plot will have the boyfriend staying in the closet and breaking Cyrus's heart.

Who is 33? The guy who plays Brody?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | February 12, 2018 10:52 PM |
I hope social media doesn't ruin this like they did Jonnor. But to be fair, I think the actor who played Jude was jealous that Gavin Macintosh was becoming more popular which forced the writers to prematurely end that storyline. As soon as Connor left, Jude got a new boyfriend where all they did was get high together. Jude's character, meanwhile, became more unlikable and started to fade into the background. Maybe the writers were punishing him. Who knows. However, despite the issue of TJ appearing a little older than Cyrus (just like Connor with Jude) I hope this works out. Cyrus is a much more interesting character than Jude ever was and it will be interesting to see a whole different side of TJ's character.

Synopses for the next 4 episodes are out, with no mention of Cyrus' gayness. Unless they do something in: "S02E16 - Truth or Truth
When the power goes out in Shadyside, a day of fun and games shed light on unexpected revelations.", 3 episodes from now, I think they're just going to ignore the gay for another few months, before they have another 30 seconds of queerbaiting.

Is Disney going to queerbait us with the Cyrus character? Since he came out last year the show had pretty much i.gnored him and his sexuality.
by Anonymous | reply 122 | November 14, 2018 12:26 PM |
r122 I don't know if it's queerbating on Disney's part so much as a tug between the writer and the network about how gay things can get, Disney edited the lookback to be more ambiguous, and deleting scenes from his Bar-Mitzvah. But at this point it looks like they're killing his one chance at a gay storyline, with a gun storyline. Which isn't great, especially since the only award they ever got was a GLAAD.
by Anonymous | reply 123 | November 14, 2018 1:00 PM |
And, don't forget, the title of the show is "Andi Mack," not "Cyrus Is Gay." It's always going to be about her.

The Fosters did it better given it was on a more mature network, but even that disappointed in the end.
by Anonymous | reply 125 | November 14, 2018 5:02 PM |
That's pretty much the textbook definition of queerbaiting r123 I don't care whose fault is, it's still queer baiting and they should not be allowed to get away with it. They should be called out and shamed. But the media will likely ignore it
by Anonymous | reply 126 | November 14, 2018 9:55 PM |
That it's Andi Mack excuse is bullshit and you know it. They don't seem to have any problem showing Buffy or Jonah with boyfriends or girlfriends or talking about who they're attracted to But not Cyrus.
by Anonymous | reply 127 | November 14, 2018 9:58 PM |
Cyrus coming out is going to be a long process for him, like it is for most gay kids. Only two people know that he's gay and it doesn't seem like he's in a hurry to come out all the way, not even to his parents. Cyrus may be crushing on TJ but he cann't imagine him being gay too, so he's keeping his distance and enjoying the friendship.
Jonah only other girlfriend was that awful Amber person and Andi affected that relationship directly. Buffy's only boyfriend has been Walker (things never went anywhere with Marty from the party) and even that storyline is about how the relationship affects Andi. See, r127? Everything comes back to Andi. The show is about HER.
by Anonymous | reply 128 | November 15, 2018 8:05 PM |
Actually a large section of Cyrus being gay directly ties to Andi. Since as far as she knows Cyrus still has a crush on Jonah who was her boyfriend until about 6 episodes ago. They could quite easily have used that as a way to bring up Cyrus being gay in a plot relevant manner. But ever since he announced that to her and she had the most muted reaction possible to it. Her and Cyrus haven't mentioned the Pink Elephant in the room once.
by Anonymous | reply 129 | November 15, 2018 8:58 PM |
Marty made it very clear to Buffy that he wanted to be her bf. Cyrus hasn't had anything close to that happened to him. It Doesn't matter how long his relationships have been. Jonah has had two girlfriends. Again nothing like that for Cyrus it's homophobic plain and simple. Disney didn't have to do a gay storyline. I don't give them credit for doing one and then burying it just so they can get the publicity and then it goes away. Disney cutting out scenes from the bar mitzvah and editing the look back to make it look like TJ was looking at Buffy is homophobic. Disney shooting the dirt bike promo to make it look like There was romantic jealousy on the part of TJ is queerbaiting. They knew what they were doing which makes them super disingenuous. And here something most people aren't thinking about what about the queer actors who may be on Andy Mack or other Disney shows what kind of message does this send to them that there's something about them that has to be handled with kid gloves or treated so differently than their straight friends and coworkers.

by Anonymous | reply 132 | November 17, 2018 7:46 AM |
r131 TJ and Cyrus were about as gay and touchy as you can be in a Disney show. Also TJ has 2 weird friends. One called Lester who said one word and spent the rest of the episode in the background fondling Melons, he's actually more creepy than the gun owner. Who I'm pretty sure was stoned, and was also either flirting with Cyrus or just trolling TJ. Shame he'll never be back he was pretty interesting for a side character. And it looks like TJ was the one who told the cops about the gun so he might get out of this whole situation better than I expected (other than all of Cyrus friends and his parents hating him now.... Which might make dating awkward). But I'd say Tyrus isn't dead yet. Other than that there was a B plot with Jonah and Buffy that was pretty good, and a less interesting one with Andi's family. The show really isn't equipped to handle three separate stories at once.

It's clear TJ and Cyrus are into each other but ot was all substantial. It's 2018. We gays are tired of our relationships being presented as subtext. We want text. We want Tyrus to actually date.
by Anonymous | reply 134 | November 17, 2018 6:38 PM |
R134 I actually think it's cuter for them to slowly realize they like each other. It's more realistic too.
by Anonymous | reply 135 | November 17, 2018 6:43 PM |
Yeah, Cyrus and TJ should go slow. Look what rushing into a relationship got Andi and Jonah.
by Anonymous | reply 136 | November 17, 2018 8:16 PM |
Don't forget. Before Qndi and Jonah got together, Jonah already had a girlfriend and Andi made it clear that she had romantic feelings for Jonah. That's the difference between the het ships and what Tyrus has going on. There is absolutely no acknowlegement that they have romantic feelings for each other. That's all I'm asking for. Never forget that they are being treated differently.
by Anonymous | reply 137 | November 17, 2018 8:40 PM |
R137 Exactly, Andi was right to feel jealous at first but now she's become quite annoying and overanalytical about everything.
That's all I'm asking for. Never forget that they are being treated differently.
To be fair, coming out is a process especially for teens that age. It's especially difficult for those like TJ who are not stereotypically gay. It doesn't mean we can't see them express romantic feelings or show affection toward eachother. They should be able to discover their true feelings just like anyone else. I just think if they just come out as a couple just like that would be boring and rob us of a lot of cute moments.
The Fosters was a joke because the jock character literally became a gay activist overnight and the more feminine kid didn't want to accept the gay label, even though he had nothing to lose.
by Anonymous | reply 138 | November 17, 2018 9:50 PM |
I think we are arguing Apples and Oranges. Sure I would love for Tyrus to become a real couple but that's not what I'm talking about. There are ways to let the audience know that TJ and Cyrus are gay without them being a couple. Cyrus hasn't even Acknowledged to Buffy or Andi that he has a crush on TJ yet for instance. We still don't know if TJ is even gay. The way TJ's scenes have been edited they could give him a girlfriend tomorrow and it would make total sense in the context of the show. Freaking Jonah Beck has just been given a new gf for goodness sake. That was established in the promo for next week and yet we still don't know if TJ is even gay! I'm sorry you're giving Disney too much credit. They are way into queer baiting territory at this point. They have time to fix it but time is running out fast. A doubt they get a 4th season.

Terri Minsky, are you listening?
by Anonymous | reply 140 | November 18, 2018 12:07 PM |
r134 Yeah I don't see them actually dating until the last ten minutes of the last episode if even then. TJ's actor hasn't been on set yet for 3b, said he isn't due back for a few weeks, and since they're filming the wedding at the moment which TJ would be Cyrus plus 1 for if they were dating by about 12 episodes time. I have zero expectations they'll pull the trigger on them being boyfriends before they've decided to cancel the show. They'll then probably market the shit out of it like they did with the coming out and gun story.
by Anonymous | reply 141 | November 18, 2018 12:14 PM |
That's what talking about r141 but it's even worse than that. They still haven't even acknowledg'd whether TJ is gay or not at this late date. And they've basically made Cyrus asexual at this point. Jonah is working on his 3rd girlfriend Buffy is working on her 2nd boyfriend kinda, Andi is mad at Buffy because she's dating Walkerand poor Cyrus doesn't even get to look across the room and say something like "hey that guy is cute!" It's become clear now that to Disney the Cyrus story line was a PR stunt to get a glad award and Terri and the poor young actors fell for it. I hope Terri wasn't in on it.
by Anonymous | reply 142 | November 18, 2018 12:23 PM |

This is partly realistic in that gay teens have to deal with the extra hurdle of coming out to friends and family, or in some cases, discovering that they are different. Cyrus still hasn't come out to his best friends and TJ is obviously not out, and maybe doesn't even realize he's gay. Speaking from experience, I definitely wouldn't have been as confident as TJ unless I already had a solid support system at that age who knew about me and let me know that it was OK. If your going to establish a healthy gay relationship, then those things need to be taken care of first.
by Anonymous | reply 143 | November 18, 2018 4:55 PM |
No, that's not what I'm talking about r143. I'm not talking about Cyrus acknowledging he's gay necessarily to the other characters I'm saying that Cyrus and TJ should be established as gay to the audience. All of the viewers of this show know that Buffy, Marty, Jonah, Walker are straight. Cyrus is out to two other characters on the show but the writers never allow him to discuss It and T J is not out to the audience yet. The audience doesn't know if he's gay. They could easily make his character straight based on his scenes so far, he could just be a nice friend to Cyrus. You see what I'm saying ? There are ways to establish TJ's sexuality without giving him a boyfriend or any kind of romantic relationship that's what we as fans deserve. It's ridiculous that it's taking this long. It's 2018 for goodness sake. They could have had that Reed guy say something to TJ like "hey dude. When are you going to tell Cyrus that you want to be his bf" or if he's in the closet they could show him looking at pics of Cyrus on his phone and smiling and caressing the pics or something. See, I just established gay TJ without anyone coming out or being anyone's boyfriend it's not that hard to do. If you don't want to do a gay storyline then don't do it. But don't tease one and then not pay it off.
by Anonymous | reply 144 | November 18, 2018 9:52 PM |
Interview with Luke Mullen. He seems to be totally cool with the good 'ship Tyrus.
by Anonymous | reply 145 | November 18, 2018 10:09 PM |
R144 I think the best idea is for TJ to realize he rather spend time with Cyrus than with a potential girlfriend. I also think Cyrus should have had that conversation about crushing on Jonah with Jonah himself instead of Buffy. I thought that was unfair to Jonah that Cyrus kept those feelings from him, and I wish we could have seen Jonah be more of the supportive friend who could have helped Cyrus come out to the rest of the school. TJ also has to ultimately decide on how he wants to come out. Being Disney, I don't see them going the DL route with their relationship even if that's become a common trope.
by Anonymous | reply 146 | November 18, 2018 10:33 PM |
I don't think there's anyway TJ can't know that he's gay. For the captain of the basketball team and part time school bully to repeatedly seek out the nerdy clumsy unathletic boy who's nothing like what he apparently looks for in a friend, and also use such stock chat up lines as "come here often" the first time they're alone while not realising he's gay would make him denser than Jonah.
by Anonymous | reply 147 | November 18, 2018 11:09 PM |
Disney is homophobic plain and simple. They've cut out several scenes that would have established Tyrus as a cannon and they should be called out for in the media.
by Anonymous | reply 148 | November 18, 2018 11:52 PM |
Which scenes?
(btw, canon, not cannon...)
by Anonymous | reply 149 | November 19, 2018 3:57 AM |
Yeah I used voice recognition and it just added the extra n.
Disney edited the look back to make it seem like TJ was either looking at Buffy. Also they cut out a Bar mitzvah scene between Cyrus and tj in season two. And the biggest bit of queer baiting shame was the way they cut the season 3 promo to make it look like TJ was jealous of Cyrus and Reed.
by Anonymous | reply 150 | November 19, 2018 9:12 AM |
I wondered about that bar mitzvah, they had made a point of him inviting TJ, Yet there was not one moment between the two characters, I wondered what TJ was doing the whole time he was there alone.
it was a scene where Cyrus couldn’t open a bottle of that fancy apple cider (martinelli’s) and TJ helped him almost open it, just enough so Cyrus could, and then he slinked away as Cyrus popped the cork so that Cyrus could have the attention
Here's what it was if your interested.
by Anonymous | reply 152 | November 19, 2018 5:03 PM |
Andi Mack is not getting a season 4. I'm 95% sure of that and they have gone out there way to avoid anything gay for a season and a half. Josh's character isn't wasn't even allowed to say the word gay. Gay kids deserve representation on teen shows too. I hope someone with clout calls Disney out publicly for what they've done.
by Anonymous | reply 153 | November 19, 2018 9:30 PM |
R153 They screwed up last season by not having Cyrus come out to Jonah, and then having Andi disrespecting his feelings by dating Jonah even after she knew how Cyrus felt about him. She then gets upset at Buffy for simply expressing interest in Walker, who she didn't even want to date in the first place. The girl has got issues.
They better hurry up if they are going to do anything interesting with Cyrus or TJ.

THE SHOW IS NOT BEING MADE FOR YOU.
A lot of you dorks
Hold on folks. We've got a 1990s sitcom bully on our hands. And no. I don't expect Netflix standards. What I expect is something along the lines of that gay couple in Modern Family (produced by Disney) who manage ONE hug after they think one of them has died. If they can't go that far they can at least hold hands. Or is that too bordering on the softcore porn level of Sense8 as well? If they can't even go to these little milestones then why even bother OKing the gay story? It wouldn't have made that much difference to the overall plot. The main effect would be the show would already have been cancelled and forgotten by now.

by Anonymous | reply 161 | November 30, 2018 9:54 PM |
You've got high hopes. Still this episode was gayer than I would have imagined, and they've at least advanced to the point of bro hugs in the next one. Gay kiss for season 35 at current pace.
by Anonymous | reply 162 | November 30, 2018 10:43 PM |
Andi and Buffy are toxic and Cyrus needs to scrape them off, but of course, that's not going to happen. With the crazy strong fan support for Tyrus, there's no way they're not going to kiss.

So since Josh Rush has said there's now only 14 episodes left this season, with TJ only being in about 5 of them. And zero chance of a season 4, the outlook is pretty bleak of anything actually gay occurring.
by Anonymous | reply 167 | December 3, 2018 3:36 PM |

r174 I'm still betting money on last episode ambiguous get together. They keep bringing Luke Mullen back to set and if they were completely no-homoing them they'd probably just write him out.
by Anonymous | reply 176 | December 14, 2018 12:51 PM |
I hope you're right r176 but Disney has already done all they can to avoid any hint of gayness on the show. Cyrus has never gotten to mention any crushes he may have on any boys since his so-called coming out. Disney re-cut the look back scene in the last episode of season two in order to make it ambiguous. TJ was originally supposed to look back at Cyrus. Even something as innocuous as that was taken away. They seem to think they can get way with a sub-textual relationship for Cyrus while all of the heterosexual characters get completely textual relationships. I hope they are proven wrong. It's to bad GLAD hands out awards like candy because Disney's should be taken back.
by Anonymous | reply 177 | December 14, 2018 7:12 PM |
An ambiguous get together is not good enough anymore r176 Especially when the Jonah character has had like 10 girlfriends already. It's practically 2019 for goodness sakes. No more second class, separate but equal being good enough. Disney can do what they want but they shouldn't be celebrated for it either.
by Anonymous | reply 178 | December 14, 2018 7:16 PM |
He was only a recurring character R179. They could easily write around him not being on the show.
by Anonymous | reply 180 | December 15, 2018 2:45 AM |
They'll play it extra safe now to avoid any further controversy. Plus a large part of the scenes they've already shot are going to be the wedding scene which he's going to be involved in quite a bit I'd think. It'll delay everything at the very least.
by Anonymous | reply 181 | December 15, 2018 2:49 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 182 | December 15, 2018 3:22 AM |

Looks like Ashers brother is playing young TJ. Probably in a flashback to whatever his beef with Jonah is. I'll give Disney one thing in my disappointment about the gay story. They've at least made TJ an actual character, I think we know more about his private life than we do about most of the main characters despite him only being in a few episodes. Though it's going to be weird if it turns out he had a crush on Jonah too.

So what Disney is saying and also you in effect is that showing gay teens in the exact same light as you show your straight teen characters is somehow inappropriate for family viewing. I don't think you meant it that way but Disney certainly does and it's homophobic.

by Anonymous | reply 201 | January 15, 2019 5:41 AM |
I don't think they'll completely abandon Cyrus gay story and relationship with for fear of an online backlash. But anything will be bare minimum now. My hope at this point is that the first gay couple on Disney will at least make more gay storylines more likely in other Disney shows down the line. They've at least opened the door to it, and there's no going back. But in the long run the difference in the ways the relationships and characters have been treated in Andi Mack definitely won't age well.

That was bound to happen. Even a little peck on a Disney show will stir controversy.
On the bright side the actor playing Cyrus has more commitment with his character than a lot of adult actors who play gay characters.
It's not that the show is explicit in any way but they put too much effort in making the dating life of the characters front and center which makes more obvious that Cyrus is not like the other main characters (of course gay dating life at that age generally is far from being the same than what straights have, but they make the lovable but clearly non sexual friend)

R231 I was just about to post the exact same thing. They must have cut out all of Stoney's scenes but didn't bother to replace them with anything. The show is really quite mediocre as a whole. Seeing Bex, Cece, and Andi bicker about nothing for 75% of these episodes is really trying, and the comedy bits don't work well enough to sustain the show. Comedy has never been this show's strong suit. It's garnered all this good will due to its representation, but is pissing it all away week by week.

What's the point of all this buildup to Walker's promposal if he's going to be written off the show anyway?
by Anonymous | reply 238 | January 26, 2019 10:15 PM |
I only started watching the damn show because of the gay storyline and now there is no gay storyline. They've purposely ignored a 1000 chances to Cyris and TJ a couple. Yet tender foot assx Jonah jas had like 3 girlfriends.
by Anonymous | reply 239 | January 27, 2019 12:26 AM |
I think the pussying out from the gay reveal is a travesty. But the show also pretty much just wrote off the other adult story of Jonah suffering panic attacks by finishing it in the shows text app. Disney genuinely don't seem to want this show to do anything groundbreaking.
by Anonymous | reply 240 | January 27, 2019 1:30 AM |
So did they give him a boyfriend or not?
by Anonymous | reply 242 | January 29, 2019 5:46 AM |
No r242 and it seems likely that they never will. As a matter of fact since Cyrus kind of sorta came out hes not so much as mentioned or hinted at liking another boy romantically.
by Anonymous | reply 243 | January 29, 2019 12:17 PM |
Disney cropped a lot of good will from the gay press a d then pulled the old switcheroo.
by Anonymous | reply 244 | January 29, 2019 12:19 PM |
Nah. They just got nominated for another GLAAD. Gay press is apparently highly forgiving.
by Anonymous | reply 245 | January 29, 2019 7:07 PM |
That makes them hypocrites for taking an award away from Bryan Singer.
by Anonymous | reply 246 | January 29, 2019 7:08 PM |
Glaad will give nominations to anything even remotely related to LGBT content.
by Anonymous | reply 247 | January 30, 2019 2:20 AM |
That's the bad part r337 because there is no gay content on Andi Macj. As a matter of fact the word gay has Never been mentioned.
by Anonymous | reply 248 | January 30, 2019 12:21 PM |
To be somewhat fair to GLAAD it's the children's entertainment category which is even more generous with what counts as "representation" than the other categories. And it does include actually gay themed stuff that happened over the last 12 months before it slowed to a halt. Like him breaking up with his girlfriend, and coming out to Andi as liking Jonahs. I mean boys! And the start of his relationship with TJ. S2 wasn't really that bad for representation tbh.
by Anonymous | reply 249 | January 30, 2019 12:54 PM |
His relationship with TJ is strictly friendship no romance at all. Breaking up with a girl isn't gay. And he never actually told Andi he had a crush on Jonah. I get the point you're trying to make but we give them way too much credit. It's freaking 2019 for goodness sakes. This is ridiculous.
by Anonymous | reply 250 | January 30, 2019 3:38 PM |
All these fantasies are nice, but if the show does not come through, we just been spinning our wheels
by Anonymous | reply 252 | January 31, 2019 8:13 PM |
TJ should have shown up in drag so he could play with the girls.
by Anonymous | reply 253 | February 2, 2019 5:56 AM |
Was weird TJ wasn't there seeing as how he's actually the one that helped start the team, and got them the uniforms. The promo makes it look like Cyrus is having a mass coming out next episode. But I'll believe it when I see it. He'll probably announce he's Lactose intolerant or something.
by Anonymous | reply 254 | February 2, 2019 9:09 AM |
There is never going to be a gay kiss on this show. Disney is way too homophobic for that to happen. Disney has always had a double standard when it comes to gays and lesbians. They have had plenty of lesbians on their shows, they get to kiss and have sex, unlike the gay men. Disney will NEVER allow two middle school gay kids to kiss. It won't happen.
by Anonymous | reply 255 | February 2, 2019 9:15 AM |
R255 you mean like the rest of the world?
Lesbians are cool or hot, gay men are considered perverted or disgusting by the hetrosexual elite

r257 Will you accept intense eye contact from the opposite side of a large room?
by Anonymous | reply 259 | February 2, 2019 1:07 PM |
I like TJ's character but they have spent a lot more time this season on Jyrus, which makes me wonder why they couldn't just make Jyrus a thing. We've hardly gotten any Tyrus moments this season, and it doesn't look like Jandi is happening either. Jonah has been more open with Cyrus than anyone else this season, and Cyrus's advice has led him to make changes for the better. You also see Cyrus come to the aid of Jonah during his panic attack next episode.
by Anonymous | reply 260 | February 2, 2019 3:10 PM |
He's spent so much time with Jonah this season specifically because they killed any chance of romantic Jyrus. If Cyrus was still crushing on Jonah those scenes would have been on the cutting room floor like half of the Tyrus ones are. Also Jonah has the added difficulty they have to introduce the concept of bisexuality when they can't even say gay.
by Anonymous | reply 261 | February 2, 2019 3:23 PM |
Speaking of modeling good behaviour, Cyrus finally comes out to Jonah, a development that's not a big deal - that makes a statement by not being a Major Event.
by Anonymous | reply 263 | February 3, 2019 9:02 PM |
I'm sure it'll be a very subtle coming out without saying the word gay. He'll likely say that he used to have a crush on him.
by Anonymous | reply 264 | February 3, 2019 9:06 PM |
likely say that he used to have a crush on him.
Single most cringe worthy way I can think of to come out tbh. When I told my friends I never felt the need to add "also I used to be pretty into you. That cool?"

Although I'm pleased that Cyrus came out to Jonah and actually said the word gay and Jonah was cool with it, I'm a little disappointed that it was so anti-climactic. I think Cyrus and TJ will kiss by the end of the season.

The imperatives behind the casting are pretty obvious. Can you imagine the meeting:
"We want the main players to have an indeterminate Latino Asian appearance that will appeal to our two biggest markets."
And so it came to be.
by Anonymous | reply 282 | February 9, 2019 5:08 AM |
The thing I always find interesting is Andi is supposed to be 3/4 white/ 1/4 asian, but she looks much more asian than her 50/50 mom Bex.

Quiet you.
by Anonymous | reply 284 | February 9, 2019 5:43 AM |
r280 On some level I think it would have been a better story if he'd come out to his parents rather than Jonah. At the end of the day this was just him coming out to another friend and been told it's fine for the third time (but finally done right). Having his parents accept him this time would have sent a more powerful message.

I haven't watched this show, do we know if TJ is gay?
by Anonymous | reply 287 | February 9, 2019 7:50 AM |
We did that in the 50s, although few people knew it.
I kept having to swat Tommy Kirk's hand away from my ass
by Anonymous | reply 288 | February 9, 2019 7:51 AM |
r287 He's set up as Cyrus designated love interest that's for definite, and he's never showed any interest in girls. But who knows. Doubt they'll ever have a side character actually get a coming out scene as such.
by Anonymous | reply 289 | February 9, 2019 8:04 AM |
Both of Cyrus' parents (who are divorced and remarried) are psychotherapists so one could assume they either knew all along and/or were effusively supportive when he told them. The humor on this show is pretty low key so a Jewish boy coming out to his therapist parents probably wouldn't have been played for the laughs a regular sitcom would have gone for.
by Anonymous | reply 290 | February 9, 2019 4:21 PM |
No we don't know if TJ is gay or not. It's so silly. If they would just matter of factly handled Cyrus and TJ like they to the other teen ships everything would be cool. But his slooooooooooooooooow walk down the isle is just dumb at this point.

They will probably be a gay kiss in the finale. I think it will be similar to the Jandi kiss from last season. Chaste but still on the lips.
by Anonymous | reply 294 | February 12, 2019 5:06 AM |
Were they waiting for Walt's son-in-law to croak or was that just a coincidence?
by Anonymous | reply 295 | February 12, 2019 5:10 AM |
I'd bet against a gay kiss. But I'd have also bet against them ever saying gay as well. Plus since there's no rerun value in this show without them going to the effort of editing out a pedophile from 3 whole seasons. I don't think it's impossible Disney would just say "screw it do whatever you want. We'll take the good press instead".

Speaking of Mullen. I found out the other day he has the most hilariously bad Soundcloud of teenage raps. But seeing as how he apologised to Buffy by rapping. For Disney to do that he must have used them during his audition for TJ.

And looks like TJ's back next episode.
by Anonymous | reply 323 | February 23, 2019 3:32 AM |
Planning a couples costume no less. Though given Cyrus spent most of the time at the amusement park in this episode by himself, and Luke was actually on set, and hanging round the park for fun. He really should have been in this one too.

by Anonymous | reply 326 | February 23, 2019 1:31 PM |
This show will be dead to you r325 they will not show a gay kiss. The ironic thing is that two gay boys this age would be all over each other in real life. Maybe not full on sex but plenty of kissing and groping. Disney's hypocrisy knows no bounds.
by Anonymous | reply 327 | February 23, 2019 4:37 PM |
R327 You won't see straight couples all over each other on this show either. Even the Jandi and Jamber scenes have been pretty chaste.

by Anonymous | reply 330 | February 23, 2019 6:24 PM |
R330 Yeah, I hated the bankruptcy subplot. Telling someone to simply get over it is the height of condescension. What's even worse is that they teased that message for months. Miranda's return was also pointless. The show has its moments but its surrounded by a lot of filler and stilted comedy.
by Anonymous | reply 331 | February 23, 2019 6:33 PM |
At least the bankruptcy explains Jonah's panic attacks somewhat.
by Anonymous | reply 332 | February 24, 2019 3:44 PM |
He's been having panic attacks since at least Cyrus Bar Mitzvah last Febuary. If he's been homeless, broke and having a breakdown for that long without Andi, Buffy or Cyrus noticing any of that. Then they are TERRIBLE friends.
by Anonymous | reply 333 | February 24, 2019 4:17 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 334 | February 24, 2019 4:22 PM |
To a degree. But since then. they've still finished school for summer, had all of summer vacation, and are now far enough into the new school year to have set up a girls basketball team and played a few games. That's a lot of months, and at no point did any of them realize something was up.
by Anonymous | reply 335 | February 24, 2019 4:27 PM |

r338 TJ and Cyrus are excited to to do a couples costume of a guy dressed as summer and a guy dressed as Salt (Somersault. Because TJ taught him how to do one). Cyrus even ditches Andi to do it. Kira the shows dedicated African American bully. I'll gloss over how badly the shows treated it's last two Black characters in major recurring roles for now. Who throughout the episode flirts with TJ to try to get on the boys basketball team asks why he'd rather do a costume with Cyrus than her. Next scene TJ's ditched Cyrus and is doing Kira's costume instead, he looks miserable and apologises to Cyrus. The two theories people have are, either TJ suddenly realised how gay he was being panicked and chose to go with the girl instead. Or she subtlety threatened to out him and pressured him to do what she wants or else. I don't know which is true, and given how subtly AM is going to have to handle any homophobia story I wished they hadn't bothered.
Anyway The shows on hiatus till June, Cyrus thinks TJ hates him (again), Cyrus friends will all hate TJ (again). And there are now only three episodes including the season finale that TJ actually appears in for any chance at a resolution... Yay.
by Anonymous | reply 340 | March 1, 2019 10:15 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 343 | March 2, 2019 8:27 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 344 | March 3, 2019 4:12 AM |
I mean, technically they haven't reached the 'relationship' level
by Anonymous | reply 345 | March 3, 2019 4:14 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 346 | March 3, 2019 4:26 AM |
Cyrus will probably want to talk it out with TJ. It's going to be interesting to see how TJ deals with that. Will he admit he was worried about looking gay with their costume? Will Cyrus come out to TJ? Certainly more interesting than anything else happening on this show.
by Anonymous | reply 347 | March 3, 2019 4:43 AM |
Wow. They’re not even caught up with the end of the 1990s yet.
by Anonymous | reply 349 | March 3, 2019 12:54 PM |
Thank you r349 I'm sorry But the way Disney is handling Cyrus in T j's relationship is downright homophobic. It's 2019 people are giving them way way too much credit. Jonah can't go 5 minutes without a girlfriend and that kiss he had with Amber was pretty damn long. The TJ character only has 3 episodes left and neither he nor Cyrus has even been able to admit that they find boys cute.

I found funny that everybody blamed Kira for the fact that they didn't went together to the party when it was all TJ's fault. In real life that would be a red sign, the fact that the guy you have a crush, the one who insisted in going with you, not only decided to get rid of you in the last minute, he didn't even make the effort on calling you to tell that he pass of you ass.
And come on guys, it's Disney, 95% of their young actors pings (probably the percentage of the ones who are gay in real life is not that high but way higher than the average for sure)
by Anonymous | reply 374 | March 30, 2019 12:59 PM |
People are blaming Kira because the audience knows she told the middle school gay boy coming to terms with his feelings how weird it was that he wanted to play dress up with another boy based on an in joke between the two of them. Cyrus probably does blame TJ because as far as he knows TJ dumped him for a girl.
by Anonymous | reply 375 | March 30, 2019 1:36 PM |
And that's exactly what he did, dumping him for a girl. And he did it without even talk with him after being him the one who wanted to go together. Kira can be as assholish as she wants but the blame of everything that happened was TJ's

by Anonymous | reply 377 | March 30, 2019 2:03 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 378 | March 30, 2019 2:18 PM |
R378: No, he should have call Cyrus and tell him he changed his mind instead of letting him feel ridiculous at being dumped at school.

by Anonymous | reply 381 | March 30, 2019 3:01 PM |
r381 A valuable lesson for any fledgling gay! Helps you steer clear of faghags in the future. Though honestly I don't think anyone in this show will still be friends post highschool. They have nothing in common.
by Anonymous | reply 382 | March 30, 2019 3:20 PM |
R380: Yes, because saying oh, 'm sorry but i decide to go to the party with this total stranger even if i insisted you to change your plans to go with me it's good enough for sure.
And Cyrus did the right thing back then too, hanging out with people who think it's a good idea to carry guns it's not what anything with a brain will do.
The truth is very simple, TJ wanted to go with Cyrus, he insisted to go with him, and given TJ doesn't know the Cyrus is gay they will go just as a pair of friend, but suddenly he talks with Kira who is a complete stranger and not the most popular girl of the school and someone who didn't care at all about other people's oppinions suddenly change his mind and starts to act like a jerk.
Even if Cyrus didn't have a crush on him what he did is more than enough to put some distance, because he acted like he didn't give a crap about Cyrus.
And maybe he gave him the cold shoulder during the gun incident during a brief moment, but he was a great friend since they met for the first time so at least he deserved a little respect

As long as they want to work with Disney, none of these kids will come out.
by Anonymous | reply 387 | April 1, 2019 8:34 PM |
R387 Working with Disney has an expiration day anyway. But they are too young, even the youngest actors who came out are at least three or four years older (and they generally came from theatre)
by Anonymous | reply 388 | April 1, 2019 8:41 PM |
All of these Disney actors start off in life at a very young age wanting to do musical theater and yet somehow once they get on TV they're all "straight". Not realistic.

A Disney 17yr old who got to do "musical theater." But, he's probably very straight.

Yes R211! Nickelodeon always was better with gay subtext. In a similar way that femme Josh Nichols and his nerdy friends Craig & Eric were hinted to be gay, Sam Puckett of 'Sam & Cat' was a coded dyke.
Avatar's Korra & Asami had an openly lesbian relationship, and there is an explicitly gay happily-married couple of adoptive dads on The Loud House. Lucas Cruikshank aka 'Fred' had his own short-lived sitcom and is Out. Fairly Odd Parents had a gay boy character, a nerdy scholastic rival to protag Timmy Tuner.
Further back in history, Ren & Stimpy were confirmed as gay lovers, albeit in a disturbing way. Both Doug & Recess gently implied characters such as sensitive Mikey and beatchick Judy Funny may be sexually non-conformist, and businesswoman Charlotte Finster of Rugrats had a gay assistant/secretary named Jonathan. And didn't Arnold Shortman (of Hey Arnold!) have a flamboyant classmate with a lisp who loved showtunes?
My favorite Nick character was unfortunately closeted by the network for fear of backlash. RIP bi Courtney.
Due to Courtney Gripling's unusual obsession and admiration for Ginger Foutley, romantic feelings were supposed to be a reality and there would've been an episode about the two coming to terms with it. Nickelodeon executives vetoed against it, since they didn't want to spread any controversy.

R399 you just know Lucas Grabeel is seething about this. SEETHING.
Grabeel asked Ortega about Ryan's sexuality very early on. "After reading the script, the first thing I said to him was, 'OK, Kenny, Ryan's gay, right? I know it's Disney Channel so I'm not really gonna be gay, but I mean, yeah, right?' And he's like, 'Well, think of it this way: You have the opportunity to play a character who's young, he's into theater, he's an artist, and let's go at it from that point of view.'

r416 Why what did he say? And I always felt he shouldn't be as engaged with his fans as he is. I know the Kid wants to get into politics but actively involving himself with the kind of banshees that make up the Twitter and Tumblr fanbase for a Disney show isn't the way to do it.

No, I just saw a livestream where he referred to himself as a "cis white straight property owner", to point out his "privilege" which allows him to be freinds with people who don't share his politics. He's really got the talking points down pat - I can actually see him have a career in politics or punditry.

r426 He might be straight. But like you said he wants to be a politician and he's got the talking points down already at 17. I usually guess a politician preemptively saying they're straight means they have a highly active Grindr account... Or if they're from the South they'll be found dead in a gimp suit in a barn. r427 Good choice either way. According to Josh "he has zero character flaws, it’s amazing".
by Anonymous | reply 428 | May 18, 2019 10:43 AM |

Well I don't think Disney are pretending they're not endgame. So "No I don't like you" would be a MASSIVE let down. There's no way they don't get together at this point. But it's how late in the episode And if Disney only let them hold hands, and if we see them interact as a couple after they get together that's important.
by Anonymous | reply 448 | June 22, 2019 5:47 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 464 | July 26, 2019 3:50 PM |
Here's the full scene. It was nice enough. But given how much TJ's time got cut this season compared to the last one. And the fact Muffy got to kiss her new boyfriend Disney obviously parred it back to the bare minimum they'd allow. It's romantic but they don't even ask each other out on a date or say be my boyfriend or anything.

It would have been nice if they’d kissed or even hugged but it was quite sweet.
by Anonymous | reply 471 | July 27, 2019 4:19 AM |
They didn't have to kiss but they should have at the very least confessed their feelings. What we saw may have been satisfying for a season finale, but not as an ending. Hell, Jonnor on The Fosters began their story with the hand holding and this one ends with it. And they were not only younger but comparatively minor characters on the show. Sure, that show eventually dropped the ball to an embarrassing degree , but they did a much better job of building that relationship.
Having said all that, Andi Mack could return as a movie or limited series depending on viewer feedback, so perhaps this won't be the end.
by Anonymous | reply 472 | July 27, 2019 4:32 AM |
It was a cute scene and pretty emotional. Honestly, it's what I expected from Disney. Wish there was a 4th season though so we could see them as a couple.
by Anonymous | reply 473 | July 27, 2019 4:32 AM |
I don't believe half of what she says but here's her logic for the scene.
Paste: Can you talk a little bit about the process of deciding what that end moment for TJ and Cyrus would be? As both fans of the show and professional critics of serial storytelling, we found the quietness of their big moment to be exactly right, but we know that there will be fans who will still wish there had been more, or who will hold up the kiss between Buffy and Marty as a comparison, wondering why Cyrus and TJ couldn’t have the same thing.
Minsky: I feel like… they’re still in middle school, you know. And I know that people do things in middle school, but I guess I feel like it’s so. much. for, you know, the captain of the basketball team, to hold hands with a boy in the middle of a party. Like, the look on his face? I feel like a kiss, in a way, would have not been realistic to these characters. A lot of that story, a lot of that journey between Cyrus and TJ was subtext, and I think that whatever they were saying to each other, they weren’t actually saying in words. And even that final conversation isn’t explicit. I love that they have that moment reaching for each other and holding hands, in my mind, in the world that we live in, in the story of this relationship, that is a lot.
Paste: Oh, we remember being fourteen! Holding hands felt way more intimate and scary than some kind of awkward first kiss.
Minsky: I think that first physical contact with somebody is so intense. The feeling of their hand and your hand intertwined, how unusual and connected and intense that is. I just felt like this was the story of these characters, that they finally understood what they were saying to each other, and it wasn’t like they had to wonder, is he saying this? or is he thinking this?
In terms of the story, it didn’t need a kiss. Adding a kiss would have been doing it just to do it, to be first, and I didn’t want that. I would love if we were going to go on and have another season or another story, I would love to have the first LGBTQ kiss on Disney.
Paste: Well, at this point, if an Andi Mack movie ever did happen, it seems like the ideal outcome would still be that theirs wouldn’t be the first gay kiss on Disney. Like, the real power of Andi Mack has always been for us the number of doors it has opened to the shows that will come next. Cyrus and TJ walked so characters we have yet to meet could run.
Minsky: Oh, that’s true, yeah! I DON’T want to be the first gay kiss on the Disney Channel, you’re right.
by Anonymous | reply 474 | July 27, 2019 11:35 AM |
A lot of that story, a lot of that journey between Cyrus and TJ was subtext, and I think that whatever they were saying to each other, they weren’t actually saying in words.
It was ALL subtext. However, it was apparent that the showunner had no plans to develop the Tyrus relationship in any meaningful way. Definitely did not live up to the hype.
by Anonymous | reply 475 | July 27, 2019 3:44 PM |
The thing is that that moment, coming out to each other and holding hands, should have happen a while back, and the scene in final episode should have been a kiss.

by Anonymous | reply 477 | July 28, 2019 5:49 PM |
3 seasons is pretty much the limit for Disney shows, and it only got renewed for a third by the skin of it's teeth so there's no way they didn't know this was the end, or had any illusion about pulling the dating plug until the last episode. The show always had the problem Disney wouldn't let Cyrus spend time with boys he was into, it only let him be friends with Jonah when they literally had him say he wasn't into him anymore, and every time. TJ turned up in 3 it was pretty much him apologising to someone for a mistake, or that pointless Kira thing that didn't end up going anywhere just as a way to keep them from actually getting together.

If there's one long term good thing to come from all this it's that for all they've publicised the first on screen gay romance on the Disney Channel. There's not been any massive blowback or protests. I'd think that would encourage them to be less subtextual and more obvious next time. Because while at the end of the day I enjoyed Tyrus. 90% of the heavy lifting for the relationship development was just Josh and Luke being very good at soulful staring.

Yeah Disney really dropped the ball at the end. The acting in that scene was great, the directing as well but the script was a major let down. The fact that they didn't get to verbally express their gay feelings for each other is just not acceptable in 2019. I don't think it's the writers fault. It was the studio that was homophobic.

The ending was perfect, totally consistent with the characters' behavior. What did you want? This is his first interview since the show finished and he goes into more detail about Tyrus.
He found out TJ was gay, and Cyrus love interest from his second episode (he got a private lunch with Terri Minsky to see if he would be OK with it because of a set rumor he's really Christian). From then on he and Rush would keep dropping hints in episodes. So all those significant looks weren't scripted it was just them trying to sell the relationship.
And from the sound of it they both pushed for the relationship to be advanced quicker and to be less subtextual. But he didn't hate the end result.

The ending was fine. Ending up with them parTying at the local sauna would have been a step too far, IMO.

r498 why do you have to be such a fucking asshole. If you want to accept scraps like a little bitch then that's your thing. I expect equality in storytellng. Btw can't you read. If I had wanted them to suck each other off or heaven forbid kiss like all the other ships on the show I would have said so. I said "express their gay feelings for each other" as in Cyrus I love you or TJ I've had a crush on you since the muffin etc.
Get a grip dumbass.

So r500 the actors themselves are basically saying what many of us are saying. That they wanted much more text and a lot less subtext just like with Andi and Jonah or Buffy and Marty or Jonah and the other dozen girls he dated on the show.

R502, you are really angry. Life must be very rough for you, so we won't judge as to why you are so filled with rage over a teen show on Disney which was not aimed at your demographic. Maybe relax a bit and do a self-examination on why you are so out of control.

r504 So he's more on the passionate side but is he wrong, though? I can see both sides of the argument there.
by Anonymous | reply 505 | August 6, 2019 2:20 AM |
r503 Yeah pretty much. There's a massive difference in how the seasons treat TJ Cyrus relationship development.
In season 2 when it looks like Minsky started the relationship with a pretty free hand. It advances rapidly it goes from Cyrus saying TJ is scary, to TJ teaching him how to steal muffins and defending him from the angry mob. Which is the first time he was ever shown being nice to anyone. You also start to get Disney interfering though they deleted the scene of them at Cyrus Bar-Mitzvah, and they edit the look back scene at the end which was meant to confirm TJ was gay for Cyrus as a mirror to season 1 Cyrus looking back at Jonah to being ambiguous on whether he's into TJ or Buffy. If you look back at some of the actors social media from around then they're pretty pissed over how Disney edited that.
Season 3 starts petty strong with Buffy, Cyrus and TJ coaching the girls team as friends. After this you get the Gun storyline which is mostly Cyrus trying to ditch his friends to be with TJ and ends with TJ getting rid of his old friends and then you get the most romantically coded scene between them in my opinion this even beats the handholding scene at the end for a love affirmation (in the link). Personally I think this is where they were originally supposed to start dating honestly.
And then it all goes to hell. Joshua Rush made a coded tweet about how he wasn't sure Disney would ever allow Tyrus and TJ spends the rest of his show time either apologising again to Cyrus friends, or in a weird Kira induced self homophobia storyline which makes no sense given his past appearances. This never goes anywhere and is solved by him doing a keyboard solo of "Born This Way" in front of a party. Which is a hell of a way to publicly come out.
So yeah I'd say Disney got massively cold feet towards the end of season 2 and kept trying to weaken the end result. I'll thank Terri Minsky for pushing enough to even get a handhold, I'll thank Joshua Rush and Luke Mullen for doing their level best to fill in the blanks of the relationship and have the charcters flirt in every scene. But fuck Disney they didn't even do the bare minimum.

Some people are just too involved in an innocent pre-teen Disney show. The show is not geared to adults or those with an agenda. If the message of acceptance is communicated to pre-teens, then the show has been successful.
innocent pre-teen Disney show
This isn't Barney the Dinosaur. The entire premise for this show is girl finds out her mother is actually her grandmother, and the women she thought was her sister actually spawned her.

Well that was unexpected. Guess he really is done with Disney.
by Anonymous | reply 509 | August 6, 2019 6:15 PM |
Of course he waits until AFTER the show is over to come out. As bi of course.
by Anonymous | reply 510 | August 6, 2019 6:16 PM |
God Disney would probably have him assassinated him if he'd done that.
by Anonymous | reply 511 | August 6, 2019 6:24 PM |
R509 He seemed quite coy when talking about being inspired by his "friend" coming out to him, but I always suspected he wasn't straight himself. This still makes sense I guess.

So, is it the law now that a gay (or bi) guy can't come out without immediately talking about "trans women of color"?
by Anonymous | reply 513 | August 6, 2019 8:17 PM |
Joshua's kind of a SJW, so it's not surprising.
by Anonymous | reply 514 | August 6, 2019 8:23 PM |
r513 I mean if you don't want to talk about it there are worse distractions "Yeah I'm bi but people are dying dammit!"
by Anonymous | reply 515 | August 6, 2019 8:35 PM |
Netflix did it better with their kid show No Good Nick.
by Anonymous | reply 516 | August 6, 2019 9:29 PM |
How so? R516
I don't watch that show but I might depending on your answer.

He and Booker drank the kool aid.
by Anonymous | reply 519 | August 6, 2019 11:23 PM |
Weird that we haven't achieved full equality for gay people and now we want to insert trans people of color into the discussion. What's next, gender non binary pansexuals of color with disabilities?
by Anonymous | reply 520 | August 6, 2019 11:26 PM |
Just the first step to admitting that he is gay.
by Anonymous | reply 521 | August 7, 2019 1:09 AM |
r510 isn't that actress from girl Meets World also bi or a lesbian? Girl Meets Worlds was another show with a rumor gay relationship and never went through with it, which then went to Andi Mack of course. But the result...
by Anonymous | reply 522 | August 7, 2019 4:45 AM |
R521 is right. Didn't Tom Daley come out as bi before he said that he was actually gay? Josh might be doing the same thing.
by Anonymous | reply 524 | August 7, 2019 6:54 AM |
R517 The gay guy gets an actual love interest and a storyline. They are allowed to show affection, including kissing. And the coming out scene was wonderfully done as well.
by Anonymous | reply 525 | August 7, 2019 7:27 AM |
r525 Netflix does pretty well in regards to their shows and LGBT characters. It's a shame everyone will hop to Disney+ which will showcase none

R526 Except for when they dropped the ball with Voltron.
by Anonymous | reply 527 | August 7, 2019 2:25 PM |
R525 Thanks! I guess I have a show to binge
by Anonymous | reply 528 | August 7, 2019 2:26 PM |
Fuck Disney. They are the type of company who takes zero risks. The wait until it is safe and then act like they are being edgy/groundbreaking.
by Anonymous | reply 530 | August 11, 2019 7:19 AM |
I agree r530
They deserve a little bit of credit for even broaching the subject but not that much because they were so cowardly in their approach.
