2017 deathwatch

Who will die before the end of the year?

by Anonymousreply 162Last Sunday at 8:17 AM

Ben Affleck

by Anonymousreply 110/07/2017

You never know. You might think of the obvious older person, and then someone younger unexpectedly passes away as happened to Carrie Fisher last year.

by Anonymousreply 210/07/2017

Tom Petty made me sad.

by Anonymousreply 310/07/2017

It's October, OP. A tad late, no?

by Anonymousreply 410/07/2017

Use this one. Lots of mileage, still good, used by little bronze age gays on Sundays

by Anonymousreply 510/07/2017

You ain't gettin' rid of me that easily, OP!

by Anonymousreply 610/07/2017

Remember when Zsa Zsa first got very sick? Then she had her leg amputated and was bed ridden. She was on the death watch list for about three years before she died last Dec 2016 at age 99.

So you never know.

by Anonymousreply 710/07/2017

George H.W. Bush has been circling the drain for years.

Betty White

Barbara Walters

by Anonymousreply 810/07/2017

Look for performers who are of a certain age but don’t have any recent or upcoming credits. It’s been two years since John Mahoney worked and Shelley Morrison is retired and was in a wheelchair for her “Will & Grace” stint last year, so I’m picking those two.

And even though he signed to do the “Toni Erdmann” remake, I’m still convinced Jack Nicholson doesn’t have much longer.

by Anonymousreply 910/07/2017

Gotta worry about John Cougar. That man smokes non-stop. Gotta take its toll eventually. And once it does, it all over quick.

by Anonymousreply 1010/07/2017

If I were Nina Blackwood I'd make an appointment to see the pulmonologist Monday morning. Her voice sounds like a smoking toad. She sounds awful on SIRIUS. Put her on the deathwatch.

by Anonymousreply 1110/07/2017

Prince Philip is also circling the drain.

by Anonymousreply 1210/08/2017

^^ As is ex King Juan Carlos of Spain.

by Anonymousreply 1310/08/2017

Oh [R13] I hadn't heard that King Juan was ill?

by Anonymousreply 1410/24/2017

Faul McCartney

by Anonymousreply 1510/24/2017

Aaron Carter

by Anonymousreply 1610/24/2017

Paul McCartney has another 20 years to go. Too healthy. Young wife. Takes care of himself.

by Anonymousreply 2210/24/2017

Queen and/or king

by Anonymousreply 2310/24/2017

With Robert Guillaume passing, I was surprised that Katherine Helmond and Robert Mandan were still alive and kicking.

Their Soap castmates Richard Mulligan and Cathryn Damon have been long gone.

by Anonymousreply 2410/24/2017

Trump, please.

by Anonymousreply 2510/24/2017

baba wawa

by Anonymousreply 2610/24/2017

I honestly thought Robert Guillaume died awhile ago.

by Anonymousreply 2710/24/2017

Burt Reynolds. Aaron AND Nick Carter. Dick Van Dyke. Zac Efron. Selena Gomez. Justin Bieber, if we're lucky.

by Anonymousreply 2810/24/2017

[R28] Dick Van Dyke was in very good sprightly form for a man in his nineties when he gave a eulogy at Barbara Sinatras funeral.

by Anonymousreply 2910/25/2017

Lil Wayne.

by Anonymousreply 3010/25/2017

Did anyone have Fats Domino as one of their their deathwatch suggestions ?

by Anonymousreply 3710/25/2017

Monica Vitti

by Anonymousreply 3810/25/2017

It brings me no joy to write this, but Lisa Marie Presley does not look well.

by Anonymousreply 3910/25/2017

I'M FINE!!!

by Anonymousreply 4010/25/2017

Lisa Marie is a trooper, she's known nothing but drama her whole life, she'll be fine

by Anonymousreply 4210/25/2017

Is Cindy Adams ill [R42]?

by Anonymousreply 4310/25/2017

Dick Van Dyke is one of those guys who could definitely make 100.

by Anonymousreply 4410/25/2017

I think Scott Disick is a good candidate. Not for age of course but an OD or traffic accident.

by Anonymousreply 4510/25/2017

Christie brinkley. I know something.

by Anonymousreply 4610/25/2017

When is the 2018 prediction speculation /Deadpool thread likely to be started?

by Anonymousreply 4710/25/2017

Miles Teller in a tragic autofellatio accident.

by Anonymousreply 4810/25/2017

When is that right-wing asshole Pat Boone going to kick the bucket?

by Anonymousreply 4910/25/2017

How old is Pat Boone [R49]?! He seems to have looked old and angry forever!

by Anonymousreply 5010/25/2017

Pat Boone is 83.

by Anonymousreply 5110/25/2017

Billy Graham is also hanging on at 98.

As always:

Shane MacGowan

Sinead O'Connor

by Anonymousreply 5610/25/2017

Cheers [R51] [R52] There was an article recently published online about Billy Graham in recent weeks by a religious publisher I think in anticipation of his 99th birthday. But the way it was written was almost as a eulogy rather than a living person. I suspect it's known or believed in certain circles that he's likely on his way out sadly before his 100th.

by Anonymousreply 5710/25/2017

[R21] Keith Richards is pickled, he will never die.

by Anonymousreply 5810/25/2017

Loretta Lynn

Steve Lawrence

Lainie Kazan

by Anonymousreply 6110/25/2017

Since I'm a few hours too late to say Fats Domino, I'll give a shout out to other 50's rock 'n roll legends Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis.

by Anonymousreply 6210/25/2017

Not sure if there's any truth to it, but I've read that Clint Eastwood is not long for this world.

by Anonymousreply 6310/25/2017

Trump - like Elvis - will drop dead on the toilet while he's rage tweeting.

by Anonymousreply 6410/25/2017

Is it too much to hope that a certain pussy-grabbing former reality show star will choke on some KFC?

by Anonymousreply 6510/25/2017

Robyn. Piper Laurie.

by Anonymousreply 6610/25/2017

Jess Walton

by Anonymousreply 6710/25/2017

i can't believe I'm saying this but Lindsay Lohan.

George Wendt or John Goodman.

by Anonymousreply 6810/25/2017

Bill & Melinda Gates

by Anonymousreply 6910/25/2017

R68 - I have been feeling as if Lohan has used up the last if her nine lives.

by Anonymousreply 7010/25/2017

R70 She doesn't seem well, but then again, she would be the type to survive another fifty years.

by Anonymousreply 7110/25/2017

Christie Brinkley

by Anonymousreply 7210/25/2017

Christmas is always a popular time for a celebrity death. I do think prince Philip has one foot in the grave. I’d rather the Queen died though. I’m British so I’d get the day off for the funeral. I’ve ran out of annual leave so I could do with it. Wishful thinking would be a Kardashian. How much more can the word endure ? No chance of Trump dying anytime soon. Satan always looks after his own.

by Anonymousreply 7310/25/2017

As Corey Feldman is about to expose the Hollywood paedophile ring I’d say he is at risk.

by Anonymousreply 7410/25/2017

I thought Fats Domino died in the 60's!

by Anonymousreply 7510/25/2017

yeah, i thought fats domino died years ago...

by Anonymousreply 7610/25/2017

I think a rock star will croak. many of them are elderly and still touring, i don't think their bodies can handle the stress

by Anonymousreply 7710/25/2017

I think Prince Philip will hold on until next year.

by Anonymousreply 7810/25/2017

Oh! R64 speaks the truth to me. It’s the most sensible way to go when you’re a blonde whale on the toilet.

by Anonymousreply 7910/26/2017

R29 I’ve family that have worked with the elderly. I know from experience ; they may be spry but just about anything can take them out. A cough, a broken bone, a cold. Bed rest leads to pneumonia and bam. Gone.

by Anonymousreply 8010/26/2017

Brendan Fraser, auto accident, possibly drink / drug driving related.

by Anonymousreply 8110/26/2017

Eddie Vedder, heart attack or aneurysm.

by Anonymousreply 8210/26/2017

Now, Morgan Freeman?

by Anonymousreply 8310/26/2017

Christie Brinkley by absolute stupidity. By Xmas 2018. Probably sooner if you knew what I know. The empay she'll with no soul will just dissipate. Not even purgatory. Her son will secretly celebrate with a big race and lots of molly.

by Anonymousreply 8410/26/2017

[quote]Trump - like Elvis - will drop dead on the toilet while he's rage tweeting.

An iconic epitomising image fit to be captured for posterity.

by Anonymousreply 8910/26/2017

Graham is 98? Only the good die young.

by Anonymousreply 9010/26/2017

Why doesn't that bastard Pat Robertson die? He will do his damage for ever I guess. I wish there was a hell he could go to.

by Anonymousreply 9110/26/2017

Me...

by Anonymousreply 9210/26/2017

Rose McGowan. Ronan Farrow.

by Anonymousreply 9310/26/2017

Trump, Bush 1, Barb Bush, judge Thomas, Doug Ducey, the entire Huckabee tribe.

by Anonymousreply 9410/26/2017

Manila Luzon

by Anonymousreply 9510/26/2017

R24, a digression. Many years ago I saw Cathryn Damon as Beatrice in "Gamma ...Marigolds" off-Broadway. Terrific.

by Anonymousreply 9610/26/2017

R75, me too! RIP.

by Anonymousreply 9710/26/2017

[quote] The empay she'll with no soul will just dissipate.

I have read this three times and I still don't know what it means. What kind of English is it: millennial?

by Anonymousreply 9810/26/2017

Selina Gomez is young why so many votes?

by Anonymousreply 9910/27/2017

Lupus and a kidney transplant over the summer, r99.

by Anonymousreply 10010/27/2017

by Anonymousreply 10310/27/2017

The BushClintonObama crime families.

by Anonymousreply 10410/27/2017

Robert DeNiro has been in such a hysterical frenzy since Trumps election, I wouldnt be surprised if Bob had a heart attack, or stroked out.

by Anonymousreply 10510/27/2017

Corey Feldman will likely die of a "drug overdose" which will really be murder to shut him up once and for all.

by Anonymousreply 10610/27/2017

Do we get a wish list? Mine is every Republican in this country but especially DT, Pence, Ryan, McConnell, that Moore guy and that fat ugly woman speaking for DT.

by Anonymousreply 10710/27/2017

I hate to say it but Sean Connery is up in years as well. He’s 87.

by Anonymousreply 10810/27/2017

Kaye Ballard

by Anonymousreply 10910/27/2017

I've stopped counting for 2017, which likely means three people reserved on my list for 2018 will bite it before December 31.

Doc Severinsen

Lee Iacocca

Hugh Downs

George P. Schultz

by Anonymousreply 11010/27/2017

Kirk Douglas

by Anonymousreply 11110/27/2017

How's John Mahoney's health?

Hopefully, those old crones Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi are nearing the end.

by Anonymousreply 11210/27/2017

Nah Nancy has a way to go, she'll continue to waste resources and have people wiping her ass for years to come, whether she'll be aware that she's alive or not.

by Anonymousreply 11310/27/2017

I hate the thought of it too [R108] Sean Connery was my first crush and basically how I discovered I was gay. IE getting a massive rise in my pants watching repeats of him as James Bond scantily dressed and being charming and seductive. I think it was when I watched him getting a back massage and then seducing the masseur in Thunderball.

Anyway other names worth consideration for now or whenever a deathlist thread for 2018 is started include

Ken Kercheval Burt Reynolds Gene Hackman Jack Nicholson Vera Miles Jean Kennedy (last of the Kennedy siblings) Doris Day Dorothy Malone Valerie Harper

by Anonymousreply 11410/27/2017

Can we add Simon Cowell to the list?

by Anonymousreply 11510/27/2017

If you wish [R115]

by Anonymousreply 11610/28/2017

Mitzi Gaynor

by Anonymousreply 11710/28/2017

by Anonymousreply 12210/28/2017

by Anonymousreply 12310/28/2017

Martin Charnin.

by Anonymousreply 12510/28/2017

R404 from the bare back thread

by Anonymousreply 12712/07/2017

Mama June

by Anonymousreply 12812/07/2017

Clapton

by Anonymousreply 12912/08/2017

After the bloodbath that was 2016, this year has felt very tame. It's almost like NO one good died.

by Anonymousreply 13012/08/2017

No one bad either. That's quite unfortunate.

by Anonymousreply 13112/08/2017

I had a dream last night that it was BREAKING NEWS that Dolly Parton died...

by Anonymousreply 13212/09/2017

I had a dream that the Christmas Moose was hit by a semi in a Western Canadian logging town, and killed.

by Anonymousreply 13312/09/2017

I just woke up from a dream that my dog died.

But he's been dead for 16 years IRL.

Burt Reynolds could not possibly hold on much longer.

GHWB will predecease DL fave Bar by five years.

The day that Sean Connery goes will be a sorrowful one for me. God save THE 007.

by Anonymousreply 154Last Sunday at 7:15 AM

If Barbara Eden goes we can finally stop hearing her anecdote about Desi Arnaz in the 50s--she's certainly gotten a lot of facetime based on that and her shitty Bewitched knockoff series.

Baba Wawa doesn't seem to be in good shape

I'll bet we'll see more rockers go--hard lives and so many of them are in their 70s.

by Anonymousreply 155Last Sunday at 7:17 AM

by Anonymousreply 156Last Sunday at 7:20 AM
