The Hot 100 chart rankings are a composite score based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming. Liam and Niall have yet to break the Top 10. Louis isn't on the chart yet at all, much less at #1.

The Billboard + Twitter chart represents Twitter mentions or retweets. It's great to have plenty of buzz about the Louis/Bebe collaboration but tweets cost nothing and, more importantly, pay nothing to the artist. It remains to be seen if the Twitter buzz translates into high sales, heavy airplay, etc.

I'd give more of the the credit to Liam and his team for great promotion. And radio play which kept this song afloat when it was struggling in the first weeks. Liam and Niall are continuing their funny runs in the Hot 100. Liam dropped a bit to #14 and Niall #18. They're in their 20th and 23rd weeks on the chart, respectively.

Zayn dropped to #70 in the chart, never getting higher than his debut

Louis dropped off the chart completely.

Of the One Direction lads, neither Louis nor Liam have released a solo single.

I don't think any of the 1d boys - Zayn included - have done anywhere near as brilliantly as expected, or come anywhere near the numbers One Direction hit with all their albums. They should have continued in the band for a few more years. Harry was only 21 when the band split and they all had many years of hotness left.

Louis has been autotuned so much in his new song that he sounds like a 12 year old girl with a tiny squeaky, creaking voice. The demented Larries are screaming because the song was released on National Coming Out Day and they think he is singing about the horrors of his enforced closet, telling the fans not to believe the headlines about him being a dad and that he's just like the Larries really.

Niall's album Flicker is out and doing really well.

Niall is good live, and very consistent. His shows are selling out. He has worked hard, good on him.

Strip That Down is very heavily played on the radio in my town, hear it a few times a day while driving.

None of the boys are natural lead vocalists. Niall and Harry are both getting ill with voice strain. Niall had to cancel a show and Harry was complaining to the audience about feeling tired. Zayn refuses to perform at all and Liam seems more about dancing and being topless.

Haven't been around in a while because not much is going on. We're in a rather slow cycle right now in pop music but that's worked to Liam and Niall's benefit.

Liam and Niall are still hanging in there on the Billboard Hot 100. Liam dropped to #23 and Niall remained at #24 a second week. They're in their 23rd and 26th weeks on the chart, respectively.

Zayn is at #72 in his 7th week on the chart.

The big news is Liam has released his first solo single. However, it debuted at #98 so we'll see where that goes.

Since we're talking about boy band members, I just found out tnat that a girl band had the last #1 hit of the 1960s: "Someday We'll Be Together"

The tragic Larries went on a mad voting spree for him and he somehow won out of all the other boys. Sadly, all these Larrie fans will gradually desert him when it becomes more and more obvious that he has never been gay.

Didn't post last week's Billboard Hot 100 rankings but here's the gist: Liam and Niall were still hanging in there. Zayn's new song was pretty low, like #78. Liam's new song, that debuted at #98 the previous week had fallen back out of the Hot 100.

The big news was Niall had a new song that I'd overlooked.

R159 it was easy to overlook Niall's new song Too Much to Ask. It debuted at #66, spent 2 weeks in the 90s and dropped off the chart after 3 weeks.

Still, it did better than Liam's Bedroom Floor which spent 1 week on the chart, at #98.
