Wait, what?
WASHINGTON — Dr. Ben Carson was “baffled” and “speechless” that one of his most loyal aides was walked out of the Housing and Urban Development after an op-ed resurfaced in which the aide criticized then-candidate Donald Trump, a source close to Carson said.
Carson, who is expected to be confirmed as HUD secretary by the Senate, had no knowledge that Shermichael Singleton was going to be escorted out of the building Wednesday until after it happened. The ordeal was first reported Thursday by the New York Times.
The source said that according to Carson, he was informed by HUD aide Sheila Daniels by phone while having lunch in Washington.

So Trump had his aide frogmarched out of there in a fit of pique and didn't even have the balls to tell Carson he was doing it. Sounds about right.

The Trump goal is a total echo chamber. Carson shouldn't be surprised.

Like Hitler, Trump maintains his power by playing everyone off against each other.

Does Carson have the integrity to resign in protest?
I think not.

Spare the meat hook. Spoil the cabinet appointee.

By the time Trump is done with his hit list there'll be no one left in Washington to do the job. Right now you have everyone from Mccain and Pence to Tillerson doing clean up with all the NATO countries and allies & from what I've seen they aren't reassured. They see us as this rudderless ship careening out of control.

Pretty accurate so far.

No wonder he admires Putin so much. He follows his example of just vanquishing his critics.

To be fair, Carson is baffled and speechless while watching re-runs of Murder She Wrote.

Carson: So the nephew, Grady, wasn't the killer after all? I did not see that twist coming!

Aide: Sir, today is Sunday and ... Carson: Wait, what? It's Sunday?
Aide: Sir, here's your breakfast with ... Carson: Wait, what? It's time for breakfast?
Aide: Sir, please put your pants back on Carson: Wait, what? Why are my pants down?
I think Mr. Carson is very used to saying "Wait, what?"

Carson's the one who announced during his presidential campaign that the pyramids in Egypt were built to "store grain."
Sunday school mentality.

Good. I hope he hates his job. He's totally unqualified and he knows it.

He always seems “baffled” and “speechless."

I think in time many people tapped to be a part of the Trump administration will think better off their decisions to join it. They will sense that standing too close to Trump could be a career killer after Trump leaves the White House.
My prediction: appointees will begin to trickle away with each passing gaffe-imbroglio-blunder-overreaction made my Twitler.
It truly will become an echo chamber surrounding the United States president.

Or "Columbo", where the first 15 minutes shows us the murder & then we watch the detective trying to figure out what we saw but he didn't. Dr. Ben, however, spends the whole time wondering who the murderer is.

Not unless he's under Civil Service. Probably a will-and-pleasure political appointee.
