I hate people who hate white socks. They always seem common, dirty, and worn . The minute I see people looking at them with distaste I think they are lazy. Or cheap. I know that isn't always true but I am repulsed. Especially people who hate half socks.

I hate wearing black socks because they make my feet sweat. White ones don't. I assume the dye makes the fabric less absorbent.

I own a few pair of white ankle length socks for the Gym, otherwise with jeans I wear Black Hanes crew socks. I mean I have (black) No-shows to wear with trainers, should I be wearing them with shorts, and socks from Sperry that are fantastic for their deck shoes, then the usual variety of colors to wear with suits etc.

Bleaching wears white socks out quickly. I'd much rather wear other colors when possible.

I have 2 packs of white socks that were given to me as gifts (separately) over the last 3-4 years. I never opened them. I also hate white socks. I either wear black or a dark color. I sometimes wear light colorful ones in the spring/summer, but I would much prefer to wear dark ones.

Dark socks make your feet sweat? How can that be? Do dark clothes make you sweat more? Maybe you just have a sweating problem and should see a doctor.
