For the water darlings, for the water. They know what a precious commodity it will be in the future when we have mass shortages of fresh water in every country in the world. The'll be the new "Water Barons" rather than "Oil Barons." The land they bought is rich with an endless supply of freshwater.

Germans have a long tradition in moving to Paraguay when things get ugly!

No, once that becomes an issue of global crisis, the owners of desalination tech will be the new oil barons.

As in the thread "What is the government keeping secret"...? The coming global environmental catastrophe, coming sooner rather than later. Merkel may have another reason for wanting to run and hide far away as well...

"All exiles are distinguished, more important they're not dead. I could find job satisfaction in Paraguay."

The news source was Cuban -- so take it for what you will.

South Americans see an evil American lurking behind every bush, pardon the expression. Of course there's plenty of historical fuel for that fire but that doesn't make some of it any less ridiculous.

For their lovenest, of course. Shoulder rub yesterday, lovenest tomorrow.

The AFD politician Beatrix von Storch has refilled again after her controversial remarks about alleged plans to emigrate from German Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU). The deputy party leader said: "Franz Josef Strauss said of Helmut Kohl, this will write his memoirs in Siberia So you can probably also noisy think about where Mrs. Merkel will write her memoirs South America is certainly better than Siberia..."

Von Storch, who is also the Berlin AfD state chairman, had made their interlocutors on Sunday evening for indignation, as she explained in the ARD talk show "Anne Will", the Chancellor will probably resign because of the massive criticism of its refugee policy soon and to Chile emigrate.

They bought land in Paraguay so they can start lives together as lovers. Their physical chemistry is palpable.

Desalinization is useless when the water is heavily polluted by toxins, metals and fracking

They have a long history of hiding and protecting Nazis.

No doubt there's much they know and realize that we don't. Perhaps the meteor is predicted to miss Paraguay?

Whether true or not, Europe is going through transformative changes. A lot of them out of the control of authorities. Southern U.S. will also be impacted. Add to it concerns for personal safety - being a 'high value target', and you have the basis for the land acquisition.

Wouldn't be surprised if British Royal Family starts entertaining similar thoughts. Oh wait. Fergie and Prince Andrew purchased a $24 M chalet near Verbiers in 2025. Fergie, it was reported last week, has an application in for Swiss residency. They know the Royals are done.
