Why should Europeans start to don the hair shirt and assume any responsibility for these unwanted and unneeded pests invading their territory? Let them make application at a European embassy in their current shithole of a country. If they have any skills that the nation in question happens to need, grant them a visa! it's a tough call. When you see people suffering you want to help but it really does drain the economies of the "host" nations. It makes you wonder why more Syrians and Iraqis don't get involved in the war against the people ruining their countries.

Charity begins at home. The west isn't comprised of wealthy, politically stable, self-sufficient nations with smallish populations anymore. I just don't get this practice of letting all these uneducated people into your country who will do nothing but further add to the drain of resources when even the citizens are having difficulties getting jobs/educations. Why don't these countries just end welfare benefits, at least for non-citizens? I don't know what the truth is, but relatives in Italy say the unemployment is staggeringly high, they're constantly cutting pensions and finding new ways to tax Italian citizens, while any family coming from Africa gets hooked up with free housing and bennies from the government, and the natives don't. They say the blacks who came to Italy legally 10+ years ago hate the African migrants more than anyone, because they are fucking it up for everyone else.

One can understand it to a certain extent in the US because blacks were brought here as slaves so HUD housing, food stamps etc can be seen as a form of reparations, and low-income white people get it too if they qualify. But why in Europe? I think Switzerland limits benefits to non-citizens and makes it very difficult to become one.

The people who are in charge of the EU are sequestered away in cozy little Brussels, and are far away from the areas that are affected by mass intake of migrants. They don't give a shit.

Right this very minute, there's a riot at a Hungarian train station because they've stopped running the trains. Thousands of migrants are chanting "Germany" and "Merkel"

Explain. The current occupation of the Middle East by the EU/US has been ongoing for 100 years. The Muslims were expelled from Europe 400 years before Hitler. The immigration is recent.

Europe is a very weird place. Their politicians have had this weird fucked up thing where they have actually been proud and have tried to outdo each other in taking in immigrants (despite all the damned problems it has caused). Watching live footage of the "refugees" arriving in Munich, it is difficult not to be struck by how non refugee-like they look.
