by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 29, 2015 7:27 PM |
She went the way of WHET, it seems
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 29, 2015 7:29 PM |
She's like a bird.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 29, 2015 7:30 PM |
I like her song Try.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 29, 2015 7:39 PM |
Nelly Furtado is more interested in being an artist than being a flavor of the month.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 29, 2015 7:46 PM |
Oh yeah Nelly Furtado, I totally forgot about her.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 29, 2015 7:50 PM |
Oh she don't mean nothing at all to me No she don't mean nothing at all to me
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 29, 2015 8:01 PM |
[quote]Nelly Furtado is more interested in being an artist than being a flavor of the month.
riiiight.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 29, 2015 8:02 PM |
One good song, R1? Please. Her Spanish language album was very good. She does her own thing and I respect that about her, even if it isn't the flavor of the month.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 29, 2015 8:02 PM |
Oh God, those Kardashian girls had a lot of facial hair before the laser...
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 29, 2015 8:08 PM |
Ooops wrong thread
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 29, 2015 8:09 PM |
I also liked her Spanish album. She's different. Not your typical blond bimbo pop star.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 29, 2015 8:50 PM |
I was so glad that Nelly Furtado was following her on path after working with Timbaland on her "Loose" CD. One thing I admire about Nelly Furtado is that she stays true to herself and does not care about being a major superstar. This lady just wants to make music her way.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 30, 2015 11:01 AM |
Loose was one of the greatest pop records of all time.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 30, 2015 11:52 AM |
I loved "Turn Off The Light." That was my favorite song.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 30, 2015 1:56 PM |
She flew away?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 30, 2015 2:03 PM |
Exactly, r18.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 31, 2015 2:04 PM |
Could not STAND her. That Fly Like a Bird song is one of the worst songs EVER. I think she sold me some fruit on a 405 off ramp yesterday.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 31, 2015 2:12 PM |
Her first album was fine and she peaked with Loose. Her last album FLOPPED hard as did all the singles. She's well into her 30s now so she's most likely OVA as a pop force.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 2, 2015 8:47 AM |
I will say that Nelly Furtado doesn't need to prove herself as a pop act. She can make music for the Adult Contemporary audience now.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 2, 2015 11:28 AM |
That "Loose" album was and still is pop gold! Yas [R16] !
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 2, 2015 3:12 PM |
"Promiscuous" was a fun song.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 2, 2015 3:23 PM |
I loved the album "Loose"
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 2, 2015 7:32 PM |
She didn't show her pussy in videos like here peers. That's why she's working at Peets Coffee.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 2, 2015 8:30 PM |
She didn't need to show her vagina like her peers, r28. Plus, she's a mother of a young daughter now.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 3, 2015 6:52 PM |
Bump this thread.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 5, 2015 11:36 PM |
I bloody loved this song back in 2006 - it's ten years old! If it were a boy, it'd be ideal fucking-fodder for Michael Jackson!
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 5, 2016 10:45 PM |
I appreciate her creativity but I find her voice grating.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 5, 2016 10:48 PM |
I saw her in my grocery store in Toronto a while back. Can't remember what she was buying. Anyone?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 5, 2016 10:51 PM |
"Powerless" from 2004 was the best song of that year!
"So when you feel so powerless What are you gonna do?"
Reminded me of Dolly at times!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 5, 2016 10:55 PM |
"Well Well" was MUCH better than "I'm Like A Bird"!
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 5, 2016 10:56 PM |
[quote] Can't remember what she was buying. Anyone?
A frittata?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 5, 2016 10:57 PM |
She was at the Madonna show in October in Toronto and she looked like a chunky lesbian.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | February 5, 2016 11:11 PM |
Someone realized she'd had five years more success than she deserved and drove her over a cliff with Shakira in the trunk.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 5, 2016 11:13 PM |
John , IS THAT YOU, posting threads about Nelly Furtado when you are supposed to be studying for your nursing exam?
WELL?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | February 5, 2016 11:15 PM |
That 'bird' song was repetitive and annoying.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 5, 2016 11:17 PM |

She cleaned out the center aisles.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 5, 2016 11:35 PM |
Clearly being like a bird stops with her eating like one.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 5, 2016 11:48 PM |
All Furtado ever did was rip off her fellow Canadian Esthero, who wrote a song about it, O.G. Bitch ("You're just waiting for me to drown, so no one knows that you stole my whole sound, and yet you're grinning when I come around, you fake ass bitch").
by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 6, 2016 12:10 AM |
Nelly's best songs came BEFORE OGBitch in 2005.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 6, 2016 12:14 AM |
And Esthero's first album was released in 1998, before Whoa Nelly.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 6, 2016 12:22 AM |
Esther's excellent first album (BETTER than ALL of her OTHER SHIT since 1998) doesn't sound like "Whoa Nelly".
BTW, why did that idiot Ethero get rid of the GORGEOUS GUY in her band??????????????
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 6, 2016 12:25 AM |
Nelly Furtado has disappeared like Avril and Alana and to a degree K.D. Lang. The only one who really capitalized on her talents was Dion. Bottom line.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 6, 2016 1:35 AM |
Excuse me, r48??
I still make music
by Anonymous | reply 49 | February 6, 2016 1:43 AM |
Maybe Nelly Furtado is not interested in being a pop star anymore. She would rather be a serious artist. My two cents.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | February 7, 2016 7:08 PM |
She's been trending on Twitter because she's "thick" now. That's what people are calling it.
