Hillary is a neoconservative
Hillary is a neoconservative who only expresses opinions after they have been comprehensively validated in poll tests. She's a warmonger. She tries her best to say anodyne things while saying little of substance. Her instincts are centrist or centre right, but timidity is her most obvious political characteristic. She desires power for its own sake. Her commitment to gay rights is mere adoption of Democratic boilerplate; she will never lead on any social issue, unless it is a totally uncontroversial one like the 'education of women and girls in Africa'. She will never push for a just resolution to the Israel Palestine situation.
I cannot believe the American left has just rolled over and crowned her as the inevitable nominee. Why?

Have you forgotten how she tried to push for healthcare reform while she was First Lady--and the backlash she got for that?

This is an absolutely devastating analysis, OP. It practically collapses under the weight of its own substance.

Because she has name recognition.

She's better than the alternative, e.g. Cruz. Plus, not many DLers are accepting of your obvious Repub propaganda.

She's smart enough to realize that further American meddling is not the answer, and a savvy understanding that for some "situations", there is no "resolution".

Because those with money and power in the USA have bought up the Democratic Party along with the Republican Party so that no real Liberal, Labor, or Socialist Party can ever achieve power. Hillary makes us long for the liberalism of Richard Nixon. She might at least propose a return to income taxes on the rich that they lived with in NIxon's day. Democrats should be to the left of Republicans, shouldn't they?

No, OP, she's not. She's not a neo liberal either. She's center left, with a corporate streak, a bit like Obama.

Oh com on, Hillary is at least a few ticks to the right of Obama. And probably more

Because she is not a Bush.

Obama is a hawk unlike Hillary. So I guess OP hates him with a passion for all the war crimes he's committed.

Obama was against the Iraq War far before that was popular; Hillary was not, she supported it, either because *she* is the hawk or because, like OP says, she can't help but follow the herd in all issues that matter. A bad look either way.
