I think there will be less violence. Hillary deals with things she speaks and people listen. I believe she will make an excellent president and will help to unify the nation.

IIRC, the elder gays here will remember that Bubba Clinton was treated with the same disrespect and self-destructive sabotage that President Obama has faced, though without the very real but disguised racism. Ken Starr, a special prosecutor, was brought in to investigate an issue with the Clintons. Starr broadened his inquiry to one area after another. As each new area produced no evidence of illegal activity, he moved on to something else.

Eventually, after spending many tens of millions of dollars on the investigations, Starr found that Bubba had an affair and lied about it, and was impeached for those reasons. The public was disgusted with the special prosecutor and the Republicans who fueled the investigations. Karma's a bitch, and the Republucan House Leader, Newt Gingrich, was forced to resign not because he was a serial cheater and liar, which he was, but over corruption and because his party hated him. His replacement as leader, Bob Livingston, lasted a day, before he resigned over his own affair and hypocrisy. The third in command also resigned over his own affair and hypocrisy. Finally, the leadership position was filled by a man of impeccable reputation, Dennis Hastert. (It was only in 2015 that Hastert was found to be a child rapist with a taste for boys, and hypocrite.) Bubba was overwhelmingly re-elected, and the Dems gained in Congress.

But the liars in the Republican Party eventually benefitted when the electorate voted Bush tied with Gore for President in the next election. The Supreme Court then chose Bush as President. The electorate had "investigation fatigue" and though "how bad could it be?" Well, now we know how bad it could be, after eight years of the worst president since the Civil War era who invaded Iraq over false pretenses; who presided over 9-11 and left it to his successor to bring the perpetrator to justice; who presided over the Great Recession and caused record deficits; and who was responsible for other unusually severe failures. Now we know how bad it can be.

This is why we must elect Hillary — for a return to peace and prosperity, and so that we may finish repairing all the damage done during the last Republican administration, before we allow another Republican to do additional damage. Another 8 years of a Democratic Administration will make it less likely that the next Republican Administration is staffed by the very same people who did so much damage when working for Bush.
