Well, R15, I don't hope his pecker falls off and he gets a permanent case of the clap, but STILL.

by Anonymousreply 18September 3, 2015 11:26 PM

I really look forward to these every month.

Steve just uploaded his latest video. For PALM BEACH STORY:

r3 What is the point of those "30 seconds or less" introductions? I kept wanting them to take a few minutes and really say something interesting about the films, but the format they adopt is so silly it hardly seems worth the effort.

by Anonymousreply 20January 31, 2016 2:10 PM

Steve Hayes just uploaded his latest introduction! This time to Carol Reed's THE FALLEN IDOL.

I will carry the torch, op. As someone who was watching silent film at 11, I will proudly carry the torch.

by Anonymousreply 22February 29, 2016 1:26 PM

It's been over two months since Steve Hayes uploaded his last video. He usually does one a month. Hope he does a new one soon....

by Anonymousreply 23May 4, 2016 9:00 PM

I always enjoy them, and end up sitting there watching a few at one sitting, until I force myself to go be productive.

I hope so, too, R23.

by Anonymousreply 24May 4, 2016 9:15 PM

Steve's enthusiasm is really infectious.

by Anonymousreply 25May 4, 2016 9:30 PM

I actually found out about Steve from this thread almost three years ago and I've watched him every month since then. Thanks, OP. His latest one was uploaded a couple of days ago. THE DAMNED DON'T CRY...

by Anonymousreply 27March 2, 2018 8:35 PM

Alonso Duralde is great too.

by Anonymousreply 28March 2, 2018 8:36 PM

Gay Movie Queens, please

Don't give up the game, bitches

We need and love you

by Anonymousreply 29March 2, 2018 8:45 PM

This queen and his straight friend are pretty great as well. I believe they're from Salem, Oregon. They started doing these seven years ago, then stopped, and picked it up again a year ago. The set just looks so cosy to me that their discussions could technically qualify as ASMR videos. But they have hardly any subscribers and the video views are usually in the tens. A shame because they have some really insightful things to say.

r28 Yeah, I listen to his and his husband's Linoleum Knife podcast regularly.

I think I found these guys through a post here - Bad Gay Movies Bitchy Gay Men. They stick mostly to a specific genre but every now and then cast a wider net (annual Oscars nominee podcast for example).

by Anonymousreply 34March 2, 2018 9:26 PM

R34 Are they lovers?

by Anonymousreply 35March 2, 2018 9:45 PM

He has nice hair too.

by Anonymousreply 36March 3, 2018 5:52 AM

I love Steve's impersonations of stars like Barbara Stanwick and Katherine Hepburn they're hilarious. Did anyone see his review of The Best of Everything?

by Anonymousreply 37March 3, 2018 7:29 AM

I like Steve, but he is best appreciated in small doses.

by Anonymousreply 38March 3, 2018 7:34 AM
