Will Eddie Redmayne Win An Oscar

Is it possible?

by Anonymousreply 1101/26/2015

Eddie Redmayne deserves it but Michael Keaton, who also deserves it will get it.

by Anonymousreply 101/26/2015

Redmayne could win in the same way DDL surprised and won over Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman. I thought Redmaybe did a very good job (and he well-deserved his Tony for RED), but the script didn't give him much depth. I'd still vote for Keaton.

I want Keaton to win.

by Anonymousreply 301/26/2015

Redmayne has it in the bag. Keaton is this year's Mickey Roarke. Congrats on reviving your career but we're gonna give to the better performance. Redmayne will win the BAFTA and Oscar will be next. Thread Closed.

oh if he does brandi will go wild, she already doesnt like lee ann but if he wins. wow. watch out kyle

by Anonymousreply 501/26/2015

I've always thought Redmayne would win, even if he is awful in it. He plays Stephen Hawking in a schmaltzy biopic, whereas Michael Keaton is brilliant but plays a version of himself.

You rarely go wrong predicting a flashy lead performance in a biopic when a race is close (Streep, Cotillard, Penn, Kidman).

They may want to spread the love. Give Birdman, Best Picture; Boyhood, Best Director, and since he has the strongest role, Eddie Redmayne, Best Actor.

If you're the betting kind, you could do well with guessing the winners.

by Anonymousreply 701/26/2015

I know the answer!

Either he will or he won't!

Gee, I'm smart for a retard.

by Anonymousreply 801/26/2015

This awards season has been interesting because I don't have a clear favorite in any field.

by Anonymousreply 901/26/2015

Redmayne is awful in TOE. Just hammy, Lifetime Movie style acting.

by Anonymousreply 1001/26/2015

Whatever. According to SAG, American actors' hard-ons for their British counterparts simply won't subside.
