Adam Driver may play Nightwing in Superman Vs. Batman

At least that's decent casting.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 3111/09/2013

I can't possibly imagine why you would need Nightwing in this movie. The whole "Bat-family" idea is a big part of the Bats character, but that belongs a Batman franchise.

At one point, this was supposed to be my franchise...

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 111/08/2013

How many fucking characters are they putting in this movie? Superman, Batman, Lex Luther, Wonder Woman and now this one? I think there are going to be more people in the film than actually watch it.

Boy, they are really not high on Superman as a solo act, are they.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 211/08/2013

Who gives a shit?

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 311/08/2013

Who is this guy Adam Driver? Never heard of him. He's kind of homely, at least from the photo at OP's link. And the the article says he's 6'3", and will "hold his own" next to Ben Affleck who's 6'4" - on WHAT PLANET is Affleck 6'4"? For crying out loud the hyperbole around this mess is hilarious in and off itself.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 411/08/2013

"of itself" above^^

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 511/08/2013

He's from HBO's "Girls."

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 611/08/2013

He's the one who jizzed all over Lens Dunham's tits. He'll win an Emmy for that episode.

They're being really stupid here, in that they're clearly trying to turn this into the DC version of The Avengers.

Audiences want Superman vs. Batman to be about, ya know, Superman vs. Batman.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 711/08/2013

Jizzing on Lena Dunham. Well then that explains his appeal for this role. I'm sure that will get the kids, teens and comic book geeks lining up to see this one.

Hey but at least he's tall. He won't look too out of place next to the intimidating physical presence of the giant Ben Affleck.

Poor Cavill, I almost feel sorry for the sucker.

Well, if he did that on Superman's hairy tits, I'd actually buy a ticket.

Yes, the horror of being very well-paid and good-looking. Oh what a world!

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1011/08/2013

Enough with the super hero movies!!!!

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1111/08/2013

I know they're going to market this movie with massive multi-tiered marketing, but I do believe this lame turd will be the one that makes even pathetic Comicon manboys turn the tables on this crap.

ONE good weekend, then it's Showgirls with capes.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1311/08/2013

I'm so glad I bailed out of this fucking mess.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1411/08/2013

I can't believe anyone liked that piece of shit MoS. It was awful. Cavill said all of three sentences.

Are they trying to make sure he has even fewer lines?

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1511/08/2013

MoS was actually disturbing. It is not a children's film, that's for sure.

The problem I had with it is that there was barely any character development.

It was like watching a film made for people who have ADD.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1811/08/2013

If "Thor" does well, this genre isn't going away anytime soon.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 1911/08/2013

I liked MoS a lot, it was flawed but it was the kind of a Superman origin story I had always hoped to see.

I can understand Nightwing being in the movie because Batman is supposed to be older in this scenario. I still hope Ben Affleck comes down with the Bird Flu and has to be replaced.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2011/08/2013

[quote] Yes, the horror of being very well-paid and good-looking.

Why are the producers so intent on relegating Cavill to the background when he should be at the helm? Wasn't this the sequel to MOS?

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2111/08/2013

[quote]The superhero movies are really getting repetitive

Getting?

[quote]It was like watching a film made for people who have ADD

Like?

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2211/08/2013

At this point, I'm anticipating a special guest appearance by Ted McGinley.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2311/08/2013

superhero films are beneath Oscar winners.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2411/08/2013

Sure they are, AnnE.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2511/08/2013

ok r25 I'll amend to

superhero films are beneath young and beautiful Oscar winners

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2611/08/2013

Speak for yourself dear!

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2711/08/2013

He looks fugly. Nightwing is supposed to be really handsome. WTF.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2811/08/2013

[quote]Why are the producers so intent on relegating Cavill to the background when he should be at the helm?

Not in the background, but he's relegated to window-dressing. He was made to be looked at, not heard.

by Simon Halls's Bag of Lozengesreply 2911/08/2013

Milo Ventimiglia = Dick Grayson Jensen Ackles = Jason Todd Logan Lerman = Tim Drake Bryce Cass = Damian Wayne

Or, you know... if they are making them that much older... Tom Welling might make a fitting Dick Grayson...
