Anything west of Rock Creek Park is permanently unaffordable unless you're making six figures. You might find something in the sketchier parts of outer Capitol Hill. Even across the river, Arlington and Alexandria...same deal. Another great city ruined by its own success. Office buildings and construction cranes are everywhere. But YOU can't afford it.
