What truly awful movies do you watch whenever they air?

For me:

Bio Dome

Weekend at Bernie's

by Anonymousreply 4409/11/2014

Sweet Home Alabama

Charlie's Angels (the 2000 one with Drew Barrymore)

by Anonymousreply 110/28/2013

Anything starring Rob Schneider.

by Anonymousreply 210/28/2013

Clifford's only truly awful for the last third. The first 2/3 are so fucking funny.

by Anonymousreply 310/28/2013

St. Elmo's Fire

by Anonymousreply 410/28/2013

I love Weekend at Bernie's. It IS awful. And hilarious. I'd probably put Deuce Bigalow in the same category.

There was a period when Sweet November was on all the time, and I couldn't get enough. I hope it gets back in the rotation.

by Anonymousreply 510/28/2013

The Oscar

by Anonymousreply 610/28/2013

Riding in Cars With Boys

A Kiss Before Dying

Sleeping With the Enemy (This movie is ALWAYS on cable, for some reason)

The Haunting (the remake)

Send Me No Flowers

by Anonymousreply 710/28/2013

by Anonymousreply 810/28/2013

Overboard really is awful. So bad I probably blocked it from my mind.

by Anonymousreply 910/28/2013

A James Brolin Double Feature: "The Amityville Horror" and "The Car".

by Anonymousreply 1010/28/2013

Bangkok Dangerous...Knowing....National Treasure....The Wicker Man....

I have lots of free time and a dvr.

by Anonymousreply 1110/28/2013

Pretty Woman

by Anonymousreply 1210/28/2013

Maid in Manhattan

by Anonymousreply 1310/28/2013

Far and Away

I know, I'm a spineless little fraction of a man.

by Anonymousreply 1410/28/2013

Night of the Living Dead (original version)

by Anonymousreply 1510/28/2013

"Far and Away"

You're not the only one! For me, this is one of the few movies where I ever found Tom Cruise attractive. Something about tweeds and a bad Irish accent just does it for me...

by Anonymousreply 1610/28/2013

"A Chorus Line"

by Anonymousreply 1710/28/2013

Showgirls (of course), Ishtar, and Godfather III.

by Anonymousreply 1810/28/2013

Oh god - Showgirls.

I hadn't seen it in years and it was on cable a few weeks ago. It was like quicksand.

by Anonymousreply 1910/28/2013

Shanghai Surprise" - it's so terrible on every conceivable level that it is rather fascinating to watch.

by Anonymousreply 2010/28/2013

I like Biodome for the barely disguised homoeroticism, especially the toenail-biting sequence.

by Anonymousreply 2110/28/2013

R21, do two guys bite each other's toenails?

by Anonymousreply 2210/28/2013

Yes. Stephen Baldwin and Pauly Shore, though Pauly is not as gross as usual.

by Anonymousreply 2310/28/2013

Blossoms in the Dust. Theater of Blood.

by Anonymousreply 2410/28/2013

Mommie Dearest

Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion

Where The Heart Is

Not Without My Daughter (or anything else with Sally Field)

by Anonymousreply 2510/28/2013

Any of the 'Fast & Furious' movies with Paul Walker (he can't act, but he's so pretty to look at)

by Anonymousreply 2610/28/2013

by Anonymousreply 2710/28/2013

Flashdance (just call me cheesefest charlie)

by Anonymousreply 2810/28/2013

Swept Away, with Madonna. Her horrible acting is on diaplay at its best. That movie is a cringe inducing train wreck.

by Anonymousreply 2910/29/2013

Joe Versus the Volcano with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan hooks me every time.

by Anonymousreply 3010/29/2013

"Satisfaction." I love watching Justine Bateman try to sing. I wonder if she was even embarassed?

by Anonymousreply 3110/29/2013

White Chicks, even if it is edited for tv. I love Terry Crews!

Love Actually purely for Rodrigo Santoro and Bill Nighy. God, what a shitfest.

There's something about the Devil Wears Prada that makes me sit through it even though I don't really enjoy it ...

by Anonymousreply 3210/29/2013

Center Stage. Just for the cute gay boys pretending to be straight. And that jaw dropping Susan Stroman ballet at the end.

by Anonymousreply 3310/29/2013

The Happening

The Money Pit

Damien Omen II

Eyes Wide Shut

The Car

The Amityville Horror (original)

War of the Worlds (2005)

Ocean's 11 (original)

White Noise

X,Y and Zee

Jaws 2 & Jaws The Revenge

by Anonymousreply 3410/29/2013

and Godzilla (1998)

by Anonymousreply 3510/29/2013

Superstar with Molly Shannon

A Night at the Roxbury

It's Pat

Basically, all the SNL movies.

by Anonymousreply 3610/29/2013

Independence Day, especially if Bill Pullman hasn't given his speech yet.

by Anonymousreply 3710/29/2013

Eurotrip, one of the dumbest films of all time. Even the hetties/laugh/cringe when they see the brother and sistee make out! Don't forget that bratty kid brother Bert. He was actually a Czech actor who did a nice approximation of what an American kid would be like with a stupid older brother. Matt Damon's cameo as the punk singer who is banging Scotty's girlfriend,Ms Kreuk (a cultist and polyamorist in real life),it was quite the irony indeed.

by Anonymousreply 3810/29/2013

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

by Anonymousreply 3910/29/2013

The Mike Myers movies. Any of them. All of them. Even Cat In the Hat.

So I Married An Axe Murderer was on recently. I've only seen it 10 times but since it's been a while, I watched it again...

by Anonymousreply 4010/29/2013

Bless The Child. It's so awful bordering on comedic that I get completely engrossed in it.

by Anonymousreply 4110/29/2013

Just One of the Guys

Legally Blonde

"8MM" is starting right now on HBO! And "Legally Blonde" has been running on WE-TV all evening. Craptastic Monday!
