Need fabulous places to eat in Los Angeles

Stuck in West Hollywood with two fraus for a week.

Where can we eat dinner in Los Angeles(we have a car)that will just knock our socks off? Seeing celebs would be a plus.

Great food first.

For celeb sightings try the Ivy in Santa Monica. Crustacean in Beverly Hills has a cool glass floor with fish swimming underneath; also good for celeb sightings. Brunch/dinner at Chateau Marmont on Sunset, cool Hollywood vibe; at night maybe some drunkennstarlets You need reservations for these places unless going early or late at night

Taco Bell was the only restaurant to survive the Franchise Wars. Now all restaurants are Taco Bell.

I spend a lot of time there every couple of months and have used this woman's blog for advice on where to go to eat. In several years I've never been to a place that was less than what she says a restaraunt is. She's had the blog for several years so it's pretty large.

Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks. Celeb fest.

Connie and Ted's on SM Blvd is pretty darn good in my opinion.

What about The Ivy? Or Chateau Marmont?

Does Musso & Frank's still exist? If so, it's probably no longer on anyone's radar, but it is a piece of Hollywood lore, or at least it was when I was last there, probably two years ago. It then had many of the same waiters who were hired when it first opened!

you won't see any celebs (unless they come over from CBS), but try Food Fair by Diego at Beverly and Fairfax, one block north east.

Food is awesome. Very reasonably priced.

What about that Jose Andres place? Can't remember the name ...

Musso & Frank's is still around and it's pretty touristy. Don't expect to see Brad and Angelina there though...
