The Fugees: None of them were ever this good again

Listening to the Fugees' The Score for the first time in years. What a great record, from front to back. It's hard to believe how quickly Wyclef (and, soon after, Lauryn) ran out of ideas after this.

Wyclef is a blowhard but had some success as a writer and producer. Lauren really went off the rails mentally but had the potential to have a huge, long career. Sad.

Wyclef first solo album 'Two Sides To a Book' was really good. He's very creative with a world music vibe. Lauryn went of the rails after the critical and commercial success of 'Miseducation', but 'The Score' is probably the best album in hip-hop history.

Wyclef was the creative force behind The Score. And he wrote and produced some good songs for other artistes like this Whitney Houston classic.
