Gambia President: Homosexuality Top Global Threat
The president of Gambia is using his address to the United Nations General Assembly to attack gays and lesbians, calling homosexuality one of the three "biggest threats to human existence."
President Yahya Jammeh on Friday said homosexuality, greed and obsession with world domination "are more deadly than all natural disasters put together."
It's not the first time the Gambian ruler has used such harsh words. In 2008, he told gays and lesbians to leave the country or have their heads cut off.
Jammeh also has drawn international criticism for his claim he can cure AIDS with an herbal body rub and bananas.
He first took power in the tiny West African country after a 1994 coup.

I'd like to know more about the President's experience with that body rub and those bananas.

It would be terribly sad if a bomb were to accidentally fall from an old airplane onto his presidential palace.

The CIA is in the assassination business, but never takes out people like this. No, American journalists who know too much are fair game, but not a genocidal crazy destroying an entire nation right before our eyes.

Africa is a top global threat.

People like Scott Lively make a tidy sum marketing their anti-gay racket internationally. They literally make money by causing the deaths of gay people. Assassination is too good for them.

[quote]homosexuality, greed and obsession with world domination
You gotta like the greed and world domination part.

There must be some kind of a mistake. People in Africa are simple and nice!

[quote]It's time for armed, worldwide LGBT revolution against these hate states. Not a few generations from now, not even a few years from now. NOW! The enemies of LGBT equality will pay with their lives.
In population, Gambia (a totally insignificant country) is about the size of Philadelphia.
The true "hate states" against LGBT people are in the Muslim world.
Are you really prepared to fight?

A few carpet bombs is all it would take.

Yahya Jammeh is also president of the Anita Byrant Fan Club of Gambia. An orthodox cousin heads the Russian section. Blood is thicker than water.

Yay, r14. We can start right here in the ole USA.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||09/27/2013|
That's right R15 ... the USA and LBGT rights = the Muslim world.

People in this country put Jammeh into power in a standard narco-coup, as they do everywhere else on the planet.
WikiLeaks revealed that Jammeh charged $3,000,000 a month to let cocaine traffickers (the Cocaine Import Agency) use airstrips in Gambia.
And if you think same-sex marriage means mainstream acceptance, try electing a Democratic, gay president (a closeted Republican is a different matter altogether).

But dah gay boys like dah caca and dah poo poo
|by Anonymous||reply 16||09/27/2013|
I worked in that region of Africa before he took over Gambia in the 1994 coup. At one time, Gambia was far advanced over other nations in that area, but once Jammeh moved in, everything went downhill.

Funny. And all I heard was "Boolah boolah boolah."
|by Anonymous||reply 18||09/27/2013|
If we are a top global threat, would it not be wise to tread lightly?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||09/27/2013|
It's a shame the international community still allows government by thug.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||09/27/2013|
and where the fuck would Gambia be?
|by Anonymous||reply 21||09/27/2013|
Gambia is not a place, it's a new medicine to treat erectile dis-function.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||09/27/2013|
I'd say that the biggest threat to Gambia is that nobody outside of Gambia knows or gives a shit about them.
When this asshole dies, may he be sentenced to an eternity of nastiness up his ass.

This guy is right. The human race has only survived 1.7 million years with homosexuality. How much longer can it go on?
|by Anonymous||reply 24||09/27/2013|
This is almost hilarious that he is this crazy. Of course it's actually extremely sad because starvation, dirty water and easily treatable diseases are the top threat in his shit hole of a country
|by Anonymous||reply 25||09/27/2013|
Says the closeted president.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||09/27/2013|
The president of Gambia is pissing in the wind with his hateful rhetoric. And yes, he's a tiny little speck in the universe who doesn't matter except for the bigotry, discrimination and brutality that he no doubt imposes upon the LGBT community in Gambia.
And that is the unfortunate, sad and frightening part of this situation.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||09/27/2013|
Exactly, r30, another homophobic closet case deflecting.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||09/28/2013|
No...the REAL global threat is the Islamist political ideology Yahya Jammeh represents that mandates the implementation of comprehensive Sharia law on Muslims and non-Muslims through either overt or subversive legislation and the violent and brutal terror tactic of Jihad.
And of course those who endorse,enable, promulgate and apologize and appease FOR.
