Killing someone by giving their head a single sharp twist

People do this all the time in the movies: is it possible in real life? If so, why don't people kill each other this way all the time since it's so much faster than strangling them and so much less messy than stabbing them? If not, why do they always do it in the movies?

they are vampires

Yes, actually, it is easy to snap a human neck. Probably not that easy to get someone to allow you to do it though, a struggling for their life target is a lot different than a fictional movie character.

Do you often have thoughts like this at 3am, OP?

Works on toddlers.

Easy mentally: do it often. Comes right off, too.

I think you would have to catch someone off guard since tightening your neck muscles would make it much harder.

Snapping someone's neck in that fashion does require a sharp burst of strength; not everyone is capable of such a feat.

Peolple have died of chiropractic adjustments of the neck. Of course it is possible.

Do you know what she did, you're cunting daughter?

A large change in rotational speed (of the head) over a very short timespan, requires an enormous amount of force.

by Anonymousreply 1109/26/2013

It's possible but very difficult. It's actually easier to kill someone with a pen or sharp pencil. I'd never say how with all the muderous fools we have here on datalounge, however.

I know of what you speak, r12.

When I was in college, one of my friends was accidentally killed in this way. Scary shit.

Please share R12, if only to learn how to be prepared for such an attack with a pencil
