Richest Comedians per Wealth X

Larry David. $900 million

Jerry Seinfeld $800 million

David Letterman$390 million

Bill Cosby. $360 million

Adam Sandler. $290 million

Jay Leno. $250 million

by Brian Dunklemanreply 3109/26/2013

That's before taxes.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 109/25/2013

Adam fucken Sandler!

by Brian Dunklemanreply 209/25/2013

I'm surprised Leno is only at $250M

by Brian Dunklemanreply 309/25/2013

Larry's got a lot to laugh about.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 409/25/2013

Julia Louis-Dreyfus

by Brian Dunklemanreply 509/25/2013

Me too, R3. The others have heavy creative and producing credits. I would think Leno does by this point in his career.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 609/25/2013

Letterman owns his show through Worldwide Pants. He also owns the Craig Ferguson show, and he had a big piece of Everyone Loves Raymond and a couple other sitcoms.

Leno is just an employee of NBC. His willingness to give up control was one of the main reasons they went with him over Letterman. Carson owned The Tonight Show and that always pissed off NBC.

Ray Romano is probably up there.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 709/25/2013

Leno doesn't get the benefit of syndication money like David and Seinfeld, and as far as I know he isn't producing sitcoms and other shows like Letterman does.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 809/25/2013

[quote]Leno doesn't get the benefit of syndication money

like he needs it!

by Brian Dunklemanreply 909/25/2013

Leno is a poor.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1009/25/2013

That Adam Sandler can be so successful is proof that America's collapse is complete.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1109/25/2013

Leno claims he's never used a penny of his "Tonight Show" and lives on his stand up cash. Kinda suspicious since he owns a huge warehouse/garage with staff to house his multimillion dollar rare car collection.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1209/25/2013

What happened to Bill Cosby? I thought he was like the first black billionaire back in the day. Wasn't he the one to welcome Oprah in?

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1309/25/2013

I know, don't you love it, R14?

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1509/25/2013

Half the list is goy.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1609/25/2013

Apparently Eddie Murphy is too rich for this list.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1809/25/2013

I like R16's list better, and Matt Groening
is a good addition. After 65 years of Simpsons money rolling in, he must be richer than God at this point.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 1909/25/2013

I was in Coach with Nick Kroll just last year. No way he has $50 million.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2009/25/2013

[all posts by tedious, racist idiot removed.]

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2109/25/2013

I thought Ricky Gervais would be one of the most wealthy.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2209/25/2013

Um, Jim Carry? How about Mike Myers?

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2309/25/2013

Steve Martin is worth much, much more. He has collected modern art for years and it has appreciated beyond belief.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2409/25/2013

#28 - $75 Million
, Carrot Top

He's very wealthy, which makes him both the carrot and the stick.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2509/25/2013

With all due respect, how has Carrot Top amassed his fortune? Seriously. He's never had a TV show or movies, no?

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2609/25/2013

"With all due respect, how has Carrot Top amassed his fortune?"

Judging by the unnatural muscles on him, I'm assuming it's Carrot Juice.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2709/25/2013

"I'm surprised Leno is only at $250M."

Yes. I weep for him and his unfortunate circumstances.

Are you people nuts?

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2809/25/2013

Isn't Nick Kroll's father a billionaire?

by Brian Dunklemanreply 2909/26/2013

I'm glad Larry David has more money than Seinsmelled.

by Brian Dunklemanreply 3009/26/2013

I think Carrot Top has been in Vegas for years. I think he gets the big bucks.
