Hello Ross

Anyone watching this show? Thoughts?

by Anonymousreply 6805/20/2014

ill wait until his balls drop

by Anonymousreply 109/15/2013

It's a show hosted by an openly gay male, so DL is not interested.

by Anonymousreply 209/15/2013

It's a show hosted by a queeny gay male, so DL wants to burn him at the stake.

by Anonymousreply 309/15/2013

Who would win in a fist fight between Ross and Perez Hilton?

by Anonymousreply 409/15/2013

I like Ross. He's Queeny but he's also sweet and thoughtful. The total opposite of Perez Hilton. The problem with the show is that there is no promotion. Is it on E!? I would probably watch if I know where to find it. Have to say that I DO NOT like his mentor Chelsea Handler.

by Anonymousreply 509/15/2013

Yes, it's on E! Right now I believe it's only one show per week...not sure if that's going to change eventually or not.

by Anonymousreply 609/15/2013

I like ross but he needs some decent guests!

by Anonymousreply 709/15/2013

Overall I like Ross. I think he's funny and I like when he's on Chelsea Lately. He is a queen but he's not a cunt queen. I'm not sure if I want a whole show hearing his voice, but I can take him in small doses and hope his show succeeds.

by Anonymousreply 809/15/2013

This week's show ended with he, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass all trying to fuck each other, but they couldn't get close enough because they're all TOO FAT.

by Anonymousreply 1009/15/2013

Support Ross. He's unabashedly gay and affirming. I hope his show is successful and gets expanded beyond 'once a week'.

by Anonymousreply 1109/15/2013

Who watches "E"?

by Anonymousreply 1209/15/2013

I only had it on because the Fashion Police come on right before, and I wanted to jack off to George Kotsiopolis' bare ankles.

by Anonymousreply 1309/15/2013

Overall I like Ross. Like that he's not being the bitter queen spewing venom.

Show has lots of potential. Needs some fine tuning, but every new show does. Also needs a lot more promotion.

Will likely start getting bigger guests once it gets more established. The hardest thing for any new talk show is booking celebrities. Generally in the first few months, the guests are D-level. Either that or they're friends with the host and doing him/her a favor by coming on.

by Anonymousreply 1409/15/2013

Sing it, R14!

by Anonymousreply 1509/15/2013

R10. "ended with he"-- really?

by Anonymousreply 1609/15/2013

Ross' mentor is Jay Leno, not Chelsea handler.

by Anonymousreply 1709/15/2013

R10 has an eating disorder.

by Anonymousreply 1809/15/2013

Who was the female illusionist who hosted a show on the Style channel? His shtick was presenting himself as a cross between Donna Reed and Martha Stewart.

by Anonymousreply 1909/15/2013

Did you watch the episode of Jeff Lewis' "Interior Therapy" last year, when Ross and his partner were on it? Ross most definitely did NOT come across as "sweet and thoughtful"! He was a selfish, bitchy diva, with no regard for what his partner wanted their house to be.

by Anonymousreply 2009/15/2013

Is this the sequel to Friends? Is Ross still with Rachel? How's their daughter, Emma? Is he still at the museum? please TELL ME.

by Anonymousreply 2109/15/2013

I was attracted to him in kind of a Wibur the Pig from Charlotte's Web way, but he showed his true colors on 'Interior Therapy'. It sickened me that I had fantasized to climax about him following that.

by Anonymousreply 2209/15/2013

R19 are you thinking of Brini Maxwell? WEHT?

I love Ross and have for a while. His podcast (Josh & Ross) is hilarious. He's very funny, I'd love to have a drink with him.

The E show looks cheap to produce so hopefully they'll stick with it until he gets a decent audience. I'll be watching.

by Anonymousreply 2309/15/2013

Yes, Brini Maxwell. That's it. Thanks, r23. I loved that person.

by Anonymousreply 2409/15/2013

He had porn bottom Chris Crocker on this week discussing his "leave Britney alone" rant. How timely.

Chris seemed a little bitter Britney never reached out to him.

I like Ross, but I agree that the show is too much of a celeb lovefest.

by Anonymousreply 2509/15/2013

Brini is a minister now. He's licensed to marry couples as Brini Maxell. This is somewhat off topic, but former horror movie host Wolfman Mac is also ministered to wed couples in the persona of Wolfman Mac.

by Anonymousreply 2609/15/2013

Something about Ross and his show reminds me of Pee Wee Herman. He has that asexual naive quality and an uncritical love for trash culture.

by Anonymousreply 2709/15/2013

A friend has had him. He's a well hung bottom, in case you were curious.

by Anonymousreply 2809/15/2013

He is at his best in his man-on-the-street bits, which is what got him noticed in the first place on Leno. More of that improvisational comedy and interaction with real people, and his show could be quite good. Right now, it's cute, but it has potential.

by Anonymousreply 2909/15/2013

He was also a cranky queen on Celebrity Fit Club. Although there were far crankier, far queenier men AND women on that same season...

[hello, Dustin Diamond!]

by Anonymousreply 3109/16/2013

I saw some of his first show and it would be something that I'd watch again except for one thing. His voice drives me crazy! He gets excited the voice gets louder.

by Anonymousreply 3209/16/2013

R30 is the oldest living DLer.

by Anonymousreply 3309/16/2013

brini maxwell wow blast form the past.

by Anonymousreply 3409/16/2013

Shaw the first show and though I don't dislike Ross at all, I found it frenzied and manic, sort of like Saint Vitus Dance. If only he relaxed a bit, it would be more entertaining. Although E is hardly the network for quality programming! Think Ryan Lochte, the Krudashians, Fahion Police, and you'll get what I mean!

by Anonymousreply 3509/16/2013

He's hilarious. This week he took fans on a tour of Hollywood like the free clinic. The whole thing was funny, like when he was almost hit but a hanging street light.

by Anonymousreply 3609/16/2013

I really enjoy Ross. He has hi energy, is quick witted and upbeat. I think he will progress very well as time goes on. I have watched both of his first shows and loved it. I wish him much success.

by Anonymousreply 3709/16/2013

You are easily amused, r36. I envy that.

by Anonymousreply 3809/16/2013

Does he ever remove his clothing for comic effect?

by Anonymousreply 3909/16/2013

I like him and I hope he's show will be a success.

by Anonymousreply 4009/16/2013

[quote]You are easily amused, [R36]. I envy that.

That was only a clip, the bit was longer. You're going to die alone and bitter. Have a nice day.

by Anonymousreply 4109/16/2013

r41, I am going to die alone and bitter because I did not think a phony and derivative skit about Hollywood tour buses was funny? Wow.

by Anonymousreply 4209/16/2013

My mom said she hated the way Ross was to his partner on that HGTV show as many others have said in the upthread. Hmm maybe he's a jerk .

by Anonymousreply 4309/17/2013

He was nice to his bf on House Hunters. I think Bravo made him 'up the drama' for that Interior Therapy show...that show is kind of a farce where they make it look like Jeff Lewis "fixes" all their relationship problems by the end of the hour.

by Anonymousreply 4409/17/2013

I love Ross and I'm glad that he has his own show. I hope it's a huge success.

As for the show itself, I don't like it. I watched it once and it's silly and vacuous. It's about things and people I don't care about. The most ridiculous and stupid aspects of pop culture. If his target audience is 12 year old fangirls, then great. But I'm an adult and I don't watch crap like that.

But I love Ross. I just wish he'd grow up and show a more mature side to himself. Maturity isn't funny though, is it.

by Anonymousreply 4509/17/2013

Brini Maxwell! "Now why didn't you think of that?"

by Anonymousreply 4609/17/2013

Ross needs to calm down a lot and be less manic. He's a sweet guy, and sometimes funny, but he can't dance all over the place and get the studio audience and/or home audience in his court.

by Anonymousreply 4709/17/2013

I had not seen him on anything other than his old Jay Leno appearances, and the Jeff Lewis makeover show. I watched his show, and the Chelsea Handler show with him on it, this week. I actually liked him on Chelsea Handler (though I can't stand her at all), but he seemed way too manic to deal with on his own show. I really doubt it will last.

by Anonymousreply 4809/23/2013

Kissing Lindsay Lohan's ass is not a cute look. I really think they should just replace Chelsea Handler with Ross...her show works better for him.

by Anonymousreply 4909/23/2013

I love Ross and enjoy the show. It should be an hour because it goes by too darn fast!

It's on E! right after Fashion Police on Friday night.

by Anonymousreply 5009/23/2013

I wanted to watch the red carpet on E! last night before the Emmys and it took me forever to find the channel on my cable. There was a time when I would know the channel number by heart.

by Anonymousreply 5109/23/2013

I love "Hello Ross." It just got greenlit for more episodes. So happy to hear that.

by Anonymousreply 5210/03/2013

Here we go. Hello Ross! has been moved to 11 PM EST. I'm upset by the move in time. I like the show at 10 PM with The Soup following it. There are no reruns tomorrow after the 11 PM original broadcast which means it doesn't look good that the show will be renewed for a third season. I'm more upset about that.

by Anonymousreply 5304/25/2014

His "OMG! EVERYTHING is just SO exciting!" persona is exhausting just to watch. He reminds me of a life size gummy bear.

by Anonymousreply 5404/26/2014

Yes [54]

He seems like a bitchy queen to me, and we have too many of them on air now.

by Anonymousreply 5504/26/2014

Just another step and fetch it faggot. He is what straight people expect from gay men. A swish clown with the voice of a 12 year old girl. Forever fawning over celebrities and acting like a uneic in a all female harem.

by Anonymousreply 5604/26/2014

Don't forget to tune in tonight at 11 PM Eastern/ 10 PM Central Time. Tonight's guest is Lil Jon.

by Anonymousreply 5705/16/2014

[quote]acting like a uneic in a all female harem.

Uneic? Is that some kind of salamander or snake? It doesn't show up on a Google search.

by Anonymousreply 5805/16/2014

R58 He meant eunuch.

by Anonymousreply 5905/16/2014

Yes, absolutely a eunuch.

by Anonymousreply 6005/16/2014

R60 Don't you clear your cookies? I pressed troll dar on your post and saw that you were also R56 from 20 days ago.

by Anonymousreply 6105/16/2014

"His "OMG! EVERYTHING is just SO exciting!" persona is exhausting just to watch"

Wasn't that the theme of the original Rosie O'Donnell talk show? And pretty much Ellen?

I think the gays are the new "darkies": we're supposed to dance and play the livelong day.

by Anonymousreply 6205/19/2014

Leno dumped him when he went to Handler...Chelsea is the one who got him the show on E. It was funnier the first season.

by Anonymousreply 6305/19/2014

I like Ross and believe he is probably a nice person. Have to confess, however, I can only handle so much Ross at a time.

by Anonymousreply 6405/19/2014

I love the show and the audience seems to be growing. I love the street segments he does.

by Anonymousreply 6505/19/2014

He's totally annoying and his voice gets on my reserve nerve.

by Anonymousreply 6605/19/2014

REply 61.." I pressed troll dar on your post and saw that you were also [ R56] from 20m days ago".

So fucking what Miss Marples ? I misspelled the word eunuch. When corrected I agreed with the correct spelling. Just what are you implying you silly queen ? Go back to your basement you ridiculous troll.

by Anonymousreply 6705/19/2014

He was pathetic the way he was gushing over Candace Cameron, who thinks being gay is a sin and was a supporter of Chik-fil-A during their controversy. I hate gays who fawn over straights who don't even really like them.
