Going to see Orlando Bloom tomorrow night!

I got tickets to see Orlando in "Romeo and Juliet" tomorrow night. Please post your jealousy in this thread. Thanks!

Yes, I'm SO jealous!

by Anonymousreply 109/06/2013

It's not as if you are going to suckle his big nipples so Im not jealous

by Anonymousreply 209/06/2013

Unless he were getting full-frontal naked, I have no interest in seeing him on stage, OP.

by Anonymousreply 309/06/2013

Take your No-Doz. It's supposed to be a real snoozefest.

by Anonymousreply 409/06/2013

Is he playing Lord Montague? Friar Lawrence? The Apothecary?

by Anonymousreply 509/06/2013

He no longer looks like a girl, so I'm not interested.

by Anonymousreply 609/06/2013

R5. No, he's Jayne Houdyshell's standby for the Nurse. Check out Orly's purple briefs show in one scene.

by Anonymousreply 709/06/2013

LOL r6

by Anonymousreply 809/06/2013

Who's playing Romeo?

by Anonymousreply 909/07/2013

Oh, poor OP. Word of mouth is terrible for this production.

by Anonymousreply 1009/07/2013

Keep an eye out for visiting Hobbits and smelly humans, OP!

by Anonymousreply 1109/07/2013

But does he stage door? And will he pose for photos with you and the nuns from the convent? Or does he run away like Scarlett did after her shit performance as Maggie?

by Anonymousreply 1209/07/2013

So what's the word, OP. Was the production good, bad, indifferent?

by Anonymousreply 1309/07/2013

People should save their money on this one and go to the Globe Theater double-bill of RICHARD III and TWELFTH NIGHT with the fabulous Mark Rylance.

And don't bother with MACBETH either - even with hunky Sunjata as MacDuff, the horror that is Ethan Hawke is still front and center most of the time.

by Anonymousreply 1409/07/2013

It is tonight, r13 but thanks for asking! I am reading over the play this afternoon in preparation.

by Anonymousreply 1509/07/2013

The only ham missing from 12th Night and Richard III will be Fiona Shaw. Have you seen the TV commercial? "Malvalli--OH." Talk about overrated.

by Anonymousreply 1609/07/2013

Another Shakespeare play?

I'm all ears.

by Anonymousreply 1709/07/2013

OP. Arenn't you going to let us know how you liked Orly? Or are you still there and/or asleep? Inquiring minds and all that...

by Anonymousreply 1809/09/2013

I am not jealous. Never have found him appealing at all. He is just...bland. No acting ability, charisma or attractiveness to me.

by Anonymousreply 1909/09/2013

Lizzie - stop throwing the empty crack vials in my yard - one punctured my back tire.

by Anonymousreply 2009/09/2013

I'm not OP, but I saw him yesterday and I thought he was good/okay. Certainly better than I expected and he did a good job of conveying Romeo's youthfulness. The supporting cast is terrific (Houdyshell, Carver, etc.), but I'm sorry to say I cannot say the same for Juliet (which was a sad surprise).

The direction is good. However, I can't imagine the reviews will be.
