Chris Hayes' Ratings Improve With New MSNBC Lineup

The network's primetime schedule changes, which began August 26, saw Ed Schultz at 5 p.m. and Chris Matthews moved to 7 p.m. The experiment paid off for Hayes' ratings: he drew an average of 772,000 total viewers and 224,000 in the key 25-54 demo.

I like his show better than Rachel's. He has panelists discussing issues. Rachel lectures.

R1. Panelists discussing issues are one thing. Chris Hayes' nerd, know-it-all panelists are another.

Rachel's so-called 'lectures' are often interesting, enlightening and entertaining.

I generally like to hear from know-it-alls, especially when they disagree with each other. Far better than seeing the same MSNBC "analysts" opining on every single issue of the day, rarely, if ever, disagreeing with Rachel.

His ratings have almost doubled! And he easily beat Anderson Cooper.
