Apparently, Warner Bros. gave up the rights to South Park so they can own the rights to Christopher Nolan's Interstellar

Man the movie must be awesome for them to give up the rights to a franchise for ONE movie.

Does anyone know what OP is babbling about? Perhaps a relevant link would put this is context.

by Anonymousreply 108/19/2013

The Op's post doesn't even make sense.

by Anonymousreply 208/19/2013

Uh, I understood the OP's post and I'm have nothing to do with Hollywood.

I don't think he has it 100% correct after googling it but the post makes sense, though it could use a comma.

Does the "South Park" franchise have any current value?

I haven't watched in years, and dont' know anyone who does. And yes they made one movie that was genuinely brilliant, but they aren't going to make another.

Op must be the Christopher Nolan (is pretty much god) troll.

[quote]I haven't watched in years, and dont' know anyone who does.

What an utterly meaningless statement.

by Anonymousreply 608/19/2013

Yeah what the OP is saying doesn't make sense to me, I mean I get what he is saying, but it just doesn't make sense.

And yes, South Park is still a very valuable franchise, it is still the highest rated show on comedy central I believe.

by Anonymousreply 708/19/2013

Why would they have to give up a franchise owned by Trey Parker and Matt Stone to gain the rights to a Christopher Nolan movie?

by Anonymousreply 808/19/2013

probably because I'm in it
