Clinton or Cuomo in 2016?

The stench of dodgy financial shenanigans is starting to envelope the Clintons once again.

Exhibit Number 1: the newly renamed "Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation".

by Anonymousreply 5108/18/2013

Two words: Sandra Lee.

by Anonymousreply 108/17/2013

Ew. Not Cuomo.

by Anonymousreply 208/17/2013

"The stench of dodgy financial shenanigans is starting to envelope the Clintons once again."

The concern troll is back!

by Anonymousreply 308/17/2013

OP is a troll. He starts this shit every month.

by Anonymousreply 408/17/2013

I would suck Cuomo.

by Anonymousreply 508/17/2013

No, it isn't OP, but thanks for the "concern".

by Anonymousreply 608/17/2013

Hillary is a girl.

by Anonymousreply 708/17/2013

Cuomo was the driving force behind the legalization of gay marriage in New York.

Bill Clinton signed the repugnant Defense of Marriage Act.

How quickly you queens forget.

by Anonymousreply 808/17/2013

R2, What is your objection to Cuomo? (I have no opinion either way.) If he were the nominee, would he then choose a female VP?

by Anonymousreply 908/17/2013

There will be a resurgence of a political family dynasty in 2016 but it won't be Clinton or Cuomo.

It will be BUSH------Jeb Bush.

Wait and see!

by Anonymousreply 1008/17/2013

Maureen Dowd eviscerates the Clintons in today's New York Times.

Money, Money, Money, MONEY!

by Anonymousreply 1108/17/2013

Imagine how empowered all of those blond white women will feel if Hill get in.

by Anonymousreply 1208/17/2013

will I have to kiss Hillary if she wins? I have a weak heart ya know

by Anonymousreply 1308/17/2013

I would guess Cuomo.

by Anonymousreply 1408/17/2013

No Hillary. Anyone but. Will she be like her husbear? More NAFTA, DADT, DOMA? Can't stand the woman and the Clinton Dynasty.

Lets get a true progressive, liberal in office.

by Anonymousreply 1508/17/2013

R15 - I think we're talking about the Democratic Party nominee. Where do you think we will find a progressive liberal in the Democratic Party?

by Anonymousreply 1608/17/2013

He's horrible on that CNN morning show.

by Anonymousreply 1708/18/2013

Lez Clinton is too old. Who wants some fucked up woman who couldn't beat a negroman in the most racist country in the world.

by Anonymousreply 1808/18/2013

by Anonymousreply 1908/18/2013

Hilary in 2016 and Cuomo in 2024 - because I live in NY and would rather have him as governor.

Unfortunately, he won NY Gov in 2010 with a term until 2014. He's 55 years old now. There is no way he's going to wait for 10+ years to run for president.

That said, Clinton/Cuomo in 2016...

by Anonymousreply 2008/18/2013

Cuomo would NEVER attach himself to a Clinton presidency.

Look what it did to Al Gore.

by Anonymousreply 2108/18/2013

First, R21, Gore sunk his own presidency with his lousy, arrogant attitude toward Clinton, who was still popular with many and willing to campaign for him. Second, he's a lot richer now that he would be had he become president. My guess is that he'd rather have the money and do what he wants.

by Anonymousreply 2208/18/2013

Clit-on. She's got the most experience from grass roots work to international diplomacy. She can handle anything at this point - geopolitically savvy.

by Anonymousreply 2308/18/2013

Maureen Dowd is a bitch and has always hated the Clintons. I would vote for either Clinton or Cuomo in 2016.

by Anonymousreply 2408/18/2013

R17: I think we are talking about Andrew Cuomo, not Chris. or maybe you were kidding.

by Anonymousreply 2508/18/2013

Of course the Clintons will become once again public enemy no. 1 for the right, just as Obama has been for the last 7 years. The right will have even less luck during the Hillary Clinton presidencies than they had the first time around with the Bill Clinton ones.

by Anonymousreply 2608/18/2013

[quote]FUCK Andrew Cuomo right to HELL. ~ New York State Labor Unions

Cuomo Vows Offensive Against Labor Unions

Andrew M. Cuomo will mount a presidential-style permanent political campaign to counter the well-financed labor unions he believes have bullied previous governors and lawmakers into making bad decisions. He will seek to transform the state’s weak business lobby into a more formidable ally, believing that corporate leaders in New York have virtually surrendered the field to big labor.

by Anonymousreply 2708/18/2013

I'll get behind the most liberal candidate who has any chance for the nomination (not Clinton or Cuomo) and then settle for whoever gets it and hope for the best. That was Edwards in 2008, although with the scandal, of course he would've made a terrible nominee, but none of us knew that.

by Anonymousreply 2808/18/2013

Once Hillary declares her candidacy we'll start hearing from every bimbo that Bill has been schtupping while she was jet-setting around the planet.

Gloria Allred is probably foaming at the mouth in anticipation.

by Anonymousreply 2908/18/2013

If Clinton is not the nominee, it will not be because of Cuomo.

by Anonymousreply 3008/18/2013

Just curious what other strong presidential candidates would garner massive pap attention and wide support, despite the inevitable Repub dirty tricks, in 2016?

by Anonymousreply 3108/18/2013

Questions for those who'd like to see Cuomo run for Pres. (in 2016 or later):

Would Sandra Lee be a problem for his campaign?

If so, would it help if he married her?

Or should he just break up with her? Would he?

Would she be less of a problem if he just ran for VP?

I think she'd be a problem even if they were married, because she's a bimbo. I'm sorry for them both if he does want to run & has to decide what's more important to him.

by Anonymousreply 3208/18/2013

R22 - you do remember the whole Florida debacle?

What states do you think Gore would have won if Clinton had campaigned for him?

R23 - what grass roots experience does H. Clinton have? Please don't suggest being a candidate in a primary counts as grass roots experience.

by Anonymousreply 3308/18/2013

By 2016, most of the all-important suburban swing voters will have been born in the '70s or '80s. I just don't think they will care much about Sandra Lee.

by Anonymousreply 3408/18/2013

Love her or hate her, Hillary has more political experience than anyone else out there. She was out pounding the pavement trying to ruin Nixon and here she still is, having met with world leaders.

Her work ethic is incredible, no one works harder than this woman.

She is a bit of a crook but they all are. However, like Dick Morris said, Hillary genuinely cares about the state of the world, and that is why she is in the political game.

by Anonymousreply 3508/18/2013

R34, For non-New Yorkers, and for those of us not following the latest gossip, can you fill us in on Sandra Lee and her relationship to Cuomo?

by Anonymousreply 3608/18/2013

Oh God, are we going to have to listen to that damn Maureen Dowd's obsession with the Clintons again? We get it, Maureen, you don't like them. Now find another 100 ways to write about it.

by Anonymousreply 3708/18/2013

R36, they live together (not in the Gov's mansion, elsewhere in NY) & have since 2006. They're both divorced -- no scandal. But they're not married & she's hardly dignified First Lady material.

by Anonymousreply 3808/18/2013

And now, a message from our sponsor...

by Anonymousreply 3908/18/2013

R32 Cuomo for President, Aunt Sandy for VP!

by Anonymousreply 4008/18/2013

R36, here's more than you ever wanted to know about Sandra Lee. Within the short article at the link are links to videos of her infamous Kwanzaa & Hanukkah cakes, as well as a blooper reel of curses.

She may be fun to hang out with -- lots of booze (though most of it sickly sweet), just be sure someone else does the cooking -- & she's a big supporter of gay rights & charities that feed hungry kids. But it's hard to think of her as First Lady & keep a straight face.

by Anonymousreply 4108/18/2013

R41, I get it now. Was Cuomos' first wife more classy? I know some men are attracted to those who act like sluts, in the bedroom. Could see her getting really ripped apart on the national stage, with that recorded language.

by Anonymousreply 4208/18/2013

A year ago, Cuomo's first wife - a daughter of RFK - was arrested for driving under the influence.

I can't remember how her charges were resolved, but - being a Kennedy - she probably got off with a slap on the wrist.

by Anonymousreply 4308/18/2013

Kerry Kennedy - the former Mrs. Andrew Cuomo - will be tried for misdemeanor DUI next month (September 2013)

by Anonymousreply 4408/18/2013

At least no one drowned.

by Anonymousreply 4508/18/2013

Wow r43/44, you're lighting up this thread with all your yellow. But everyone recognizes you for what you are, so no one's listening to anything you have to say.

by Anonymousreply 4608/18/2013

I think the days of an all-white ticket are, thankfully, done with. Hillary needs a person of color - hopefully a hot Latino papi - for her veep.

by Anonymousreply 4708/18/2013

get that hottie Castro brother on the ticket. Winning combo.

by Anonymousreply 4808/18/2013

Fidel or Raúl?

by Anonymousreply 4908/18/2013

Hillary in 2012...and FINALLY in 2016.

by Anonymousreply 5008/18/2013

I predict Hillary's hair will become even weirder when she is president than when she was Secretary of State. She will take so little care of it that it will start sticking out in all directions. She then will start affecting an enormous cigarette holder, laughing brashly and startlingly, and making jokes about her husband, "Fang." The premiers of China and Japan will be completely confused by this.
