The World's End.

Don't bother if you're not British, though.

by Anonymousreply 608/10/2013

After Earth. Great job, Jaden. Xenu is SOOOO proud.

by Anonymousreply 708/10/2013

You Light Up My Life.

by Anonymousreply 808/10/2013

"This Is The End".

No kidding. Hilarious and strangely uplifting for a movie about self-absorbed actors during the apocalypse.

by Anonymousreply 908/10/2013

Why so, r6? I liked Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Paul, not so much. I think Simon Pegg and Nick Frost make a great comedy team.

We're the Millers

What happened to all of those fab political thrillers I so looked forward to experiencing?

by Anonymousreply 1208/10/2013

Pacific Rim, bitches! It's got giant monsters! And giant robots!

by Anonymousreply 1308/10/2013

[quote]20 Feet from Stardom

That was good.

by Anonymousreply 1408/11/2013

Loved The Conjuring.

by Anonymousreply 1508/11/2013

Either Aliens or Top Gun. It's a toss up. I'm looking forward to The Fly and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home in the fall. The worst movie of the summer was definitely Cobra, fer shur.

by Anonymousreply 1608/11/2013

1st: Fruitvale Station

2nd: Frances Ha

by Anonymousreply 1708/11/2013

I liked Pacific Rim a lot.

by Anonymousreply 1808/11/2013

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

by Anonymousreply 1908/11/2013

The way way back.

In a World

by Anonymousreply 2108/11/2013

R16, you missed Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I saw it three times this summer!

by Anonymousreply 2208/11/2013

The Spectacular Now.

by Anonymousreply 2308/11/2013

R22, What a fun movie, FBDO. I really miss LOL comedies, like the Zucker Abrams Zucker ones, with their subtle political humor thrown in. Can Hollywood at least make a few political thrillers, like the ones that starred Harrison Ford and Alec Baldwin? Actually the screenwriter and director makes more of a difference in the final result.

Fruitvale Station

Before Midnight

by Anonymousreply 2508/11/2013

Summers over now.

Favorite movies were few and far between, but "At The World's End" and "This is The End" rank high.
